going to say this bc a lot of people have been saying it to me again recently: tlok is not bad. atla and tlok are not meant to be compared. yes tlok takes place within the atla universe but it is not a continuation of Aang’s story. it is Korra’s story, it is about her learning to be the avatar just like Aang’s was about him learning to be the avatar. Her and Aang are two completely different people with different strengths and weaknesses. You can not and should not watch tlok and expect it to be a second atla. With avatar studios releasing new stories in the next couple of years I really need y’all to understand this. They might take place in the same universe but when the new avatar starts their adventure, it’s not a continuation of Korra’s or Aang’s journey. It’s their own journey. Please for the love of god don’t sit and compare the new avatar to Aang or Korra, or any other avatar. They’re their own avatar and they gotta figure shit out just like all the other ones, we’re just along for the ride, and we should enjoy it :)

Not me thinking back to when I was extremely obsessed with studio ghibli that I wanted to some day work on their story boards and create stories beside them that I actually created my whole story board so I could make a comic along with completed lore I created and storyline and it's all just looking at me🫠💓

Malon and my MC would be besties tbh, their talks about aliens would last for hours and come up with even more theories regarding the Zonai tech and my MC's own world- 👀
