Hmmm. Sure, since you asked so nicely 🤣

She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t hear the tow truck pull up. A tap on her window startled her, and she shrieked. Looking out the window, she saw a name tag that said ‘Dean’ on a Lebanon Auto shirt across a broad chest. Glancing up, she was met with a soft smile and the greenest eyes she’d ever seen.

“Hey, I’m Dean. You mind popping the hood?” he called through the closed window.

She nodded and pulled the lever for the hood release and waited for him to step away before she opened the door and stepped out herself.

“So what happened?” Dean asked from his position under the popped hood.

“Well, the check engine light came on, and about 10 minutes later, the engine started billowing smoke, clattered, sputtered, and stopped,” she explained as thoroughly as she could.

Dean chuckled as he stepped back and got down on the ground to check under the car. He was back on his feet quickly with a sympathetic look on his face. “From what I can see right now, it doesn’t look good. Something busted in the block. There’s oil all over the ground. I’ll tow you back to the shop, and we can call someone to come get yah.”
