Side chicks aren’t winning

And never have been. This Adam Levine situation makes me realize that y’all will continually break your own heart and then cry foul and victim. No. You knew he was married because one Google search will show that but she chose to ignore that inconvenient fact because of his net worth and fame. It’s not victim shaming or blaming women to say that a woman who willingly gets with a publicly taken man is not a victim. She saw that man had someone and she still chose to become a willing participant. If a quick Google, social media, talk with friends, or case search shows there is someone who thinks that is her man, do not engage but if you chose to, you are not a victim. You know what you’re doing, you just hope it’s not done to you.

People have been telling young women, and some men, to stay away from taken men. There is nothing to be gained from inserting yourself in a situation where there is already a main party. Why do you even want to be involved in that? Side chicks get with a man who is in a public relationship and he doesn’t even have to tell them lies, they just delude themselves, and get mad when they’re treated like side chicks. No matter what lies he told you or how he trashed his wife, if there are no concrete plans to leave his wife, then you are simply a cum dumpster. It doesn’t matter how many bags he buys you, what bills he pays, how often he sees you, or what he says; you are the side chick, so why are you mad when you’re left on the side. What about that man says he was goin to leave his wife? Also, let’s not get it twisted. Many times, that wife knows he’s trash but she’s getting some sort of benefit so she stays and will always forgive him, and he knows he’s trash, which is why he’s doing what he’s doing, but for some reason, side chicks believe they are getting a prize. You get with a man who is a proven liar, cheater, willing to leave his wife and family for a woman he barely knows and will probably drain him dry, and you think you’re winning. Yeah, you’re winning like Charlie Sheen in 2011.

Just like we don’t have sympathy for Khloe Kardashian, we don’t have sympathy for any woman who gets with a taken man and then cries about the changes he’s putting her through. You knew what it was but you thought you were special. How cute. Let’s call a thing a thing. Khloe saw this man at a wedding with his heavily pregnant girlfriend and for some reason Khloe looked at this tall dark, and handsome man, who was obviously not single and thought “I gotta get with that.” I am not following the thought train, sis. She thought a man, who was willing to not only cheat on but leave his pregnant girlfriend for someone he deemed as better, would be a better man for her and her children? No, Khloe is going through the same changes his baby mama went through, except neither of them were famous enough for the public to care. What did you think was going to happen, beloved? That man has shown who he is multiple times but for some reason, she thought her last name, fame, notoriety, wealth, or white privilege was going to spare her the same fate. Nope. Khloe got the same man. Tristan isn’t going to change and he doesn’t have to as long as Khloe is willing to go through mental gymnastics to make her relationship seem worth it. Tristan is being the self he was when Khloe decided to get with him after meeting him and his pregnant fiancé at a wedding. It doesn’t matter what excuse Tristan gave her, that fact that he was still willing to be seen with that woman in public, even if they weren’t “together,” them being seen together in public shows that there was some sort of relationship. Either they were really together or trying to work it out but something was still going on and if Khloe wanted Tristan that bad, she should have waited until he was truly single, not half in or half out. Tristan has shown that he does not have the best track record as a partner and father but Khloe is choosing to ignore that because her babies have the same father. I don’t care what those grown people do with their lives but I hate the hypocrisy of side chicks turned main chicks. Khloe has gotten with multiple men, in public relationships, and she couldn’t be bothered to care about the partners or children that were left behind but once it’s done to her, Khloe wants everyone to respect her family. Okay, girl. When Khloe and Lamar got married, while he was still with childhood sweetheart, and Lamar almost died, who picked up the pieces, and I am not saying Khloe didn’t do anything as his legal wife, but who Liza says she is the one who helped Lamar through that time and got him in and through rehab, so let’s not pretend Khloe is a victim because she’s sleeping in the bed she made.

The reason why side chicks cry and feel like they’re victims is because they’ve been taught they are just as good as the wife, if not better and they can’t understand why they’re not the wife. Unless your dude is the future king of England and there are constitutional rules about who he can and cannot marry, there is no reason why he has a wife for his image and you for his heart. That man works at Bojangles, he has no image and even Charles married his side chick and she’s now the queen of England so please stop with the lies. The problem is they waste their entire lives waiting for the main spot, they have children, and then they realize once the last child turns 18 and the man is still with his wife or they have separated and she’s still the side chick, that they were lied to and now they want to go on a scorched earth tour and burn everything down and be seen as the victim. Arionne Curry, Martell Holt’s side chick, went through so much to break Martell and Melody up, even having a baby and making herself publicly known and when Mel finally left him, instead of being promoted, Arionne was shocked that she was still the side chick and now she’s spiraling online. Melody hasn’t publicly addressed her and she’s not on the show and never will be. All she got was a baby and a broke man who won’t even claim her, in fact he says she was the side chick. I wonder about Kevin Hunter’s side chick turned spiritual wife. We are hearing about Wendy’s changes but I wonder what changes the side chick is going through because he didn’t leave Wendy, she left him. Did Sharina get a better man or did she get the same man with no breaks or perks because now she has to be the wife and fulltime lover and not just the convenient escape. Being the wife is a lot different than being the side chick and even though many side chicks turned wives don’t like to admit it, they hate their promotion and often wish they could send that man back to his wife but they have to prove they won and would never give her the satisfaction of being right. You mean to tell me that a man who would lie, cheat, financially abuse, and obliterate the family he chose to make isn’t of the best character and makes a crappy full time partner? Shocking. And not only that, he doesn’t come home at night and you think he’s cheating. No. I would have never guessed.

When you got with a taken man with a questionable character, you chose that life and the consequences on your actions and no one, especially not his wife, is obligated to help you out, be nice to you, or have sympathy for you. You played stupid games and won stupid prizes. There is nothing to be gained from dating a taken man and I wish people would stop or would just own up to their choices. I also wish they wouldn’t bring children into it because now you have children bitter with their siblings and stepmother because they aren’t readily welcomed into the family. Oh well, it’s not their fault and maybe they deserve better but their mother didn’t choose better and side chicks get side babies. Sorry, that’s how the cookie crumbles. You are not the exception, think of yourself as the rule and if you want better for yourself and your future children, get out now.

If you’re going to be a side chick or a date a man you have no real future with, use Cassie’s example. She spent the majority of her 20s with Diddy, she reportedly received a $50,000 a month allowance, which I’m sure was increased several times, probably had minimal expenses so she got to keep most of that money, lived in luxury and had a billion dollar lifestyle and once she hit her late 20s/early 30s, she left with her millions, got married, and had a baby all while she was still young, fertile, and beautiful. Cassie only wasted the time she wanted to waste and she knew what time it was. She got in, got what she wanted, got out, and still had the family and life she wanted and I wouldn’t be surprised if Diddy was still paying her for her silence. Or use Lori Harvey as an example but she’s 25 so they jury is still out on her. All I’m saying is don’t spend the majority of your life as a side chick with a few nice bags, a baby, a house you don’t own, and a man who may or may not see you tonight, only to your 40s or 50s and become so bitter because you realize you wasted your time and life on a man was never going to commit or leave his wife. If you want better, you deserve better. Don’t let him trick you into a situation that only benefits him.
