Depends on if he knows what an orange is. And also if he can even eat it? I don't think Yana put too much thought into it cause yay sharp teeths! But for you to eat fruits and veggies you really need flat teeth, it's why we have both flat teeth and canines, to eat meat and veggies/fruits/wheat etc. With him, Jade, Idia, and Ortho (if he had the same teeth as a human) it implies that they can only eat meat, though even carnivores have a variety of teeth types/sizes.

• I had to wake up super early to get back home in time for my class. The professor is giving us exam prep classes every week till the exam, he’s so nice😭. I was so exhausted and I kept dozing off on the train and almost got off at the wrong stop. I made it to the class though, like 10mins late, but I stayed the whole time despite feeling like shit.

• I got mochi at the train station and it melted during class but it was still so good. Pictures right next to that are the lentils I made yesterday.

• In terms of productivity, I didn’t do much honestly. I just slept for hours. And hours

All the tiredness was worth it though cause the concert was amazing and Laufey was amazing. I was so stressed cause the venue was changed and I forgot and I almost cried on my way to the second one lmao but it was all worth it. She inspired me sm to take my violin lessons a bit more seriously. Haha

ok update i decided im gonna introduce mochi, sushi, and jasmine to the main colony and I'm going to sell both ten gallon tanks and the 30 gallon, keeping the 15 gallon for a quarantine tank.

#i only use the 10 gallon as the quarantine and i just don't want to keep the 30 gallon #ive been reading about people who have large colonies (9+) and almost all of them say their mice get along great even if they're cliquey #my mice are already cliquey so it's whatever #the only ones saying the mice fight are the people who have never had big colonies and who think 1 mouse is the maximum for a 40 gallon #and there are studies that show mice get stressed in larger spaces and smaller groups and it isnt bc of a lack of enrichment. #in their natural environment house mice ('ancestor' of fancy mice) mice live in confined spaces and large groups #but no #i might not even do it if it turns out mochi and sushi don't mix well with the other girls #im also gonna keep the other wheel bc big groups need multiple #and the water bottle. #ima introduce jasmine to them first; wait a dozen days; and then introduce them to the main colony. #i figure if you take them home right after theyre weaned and separated from their mothers and introduce them to another group like a week #after (in a normal setting of adding to a group.) #then allowing two weeks for them to adjust to meeting one mouse should be enough before they meet a few more. #esp bc all my other mice are getting older and fatter and calmer.

I am studying support/social networks for marginalized individuals and how they develop those in environments that lack those networks, infrastructure, or are in complete hostile environments. The point is to see how support networks are built and sometimes formalized into actual organizations with the intent of helping people built those organizations, or look for ways to improve current organizations to be more diverse/inclusive or meet the needs of their population more efficiently.

I'd like to teach about Latinx histories in general, though if possible to focus queer Latinos throughout history. And to teach about sociocultural anthropology and introduce new student to the field! It be nice :)

once again thinking about limes very quick descent into madness surrounding the time when he realizes he might like mochi after the first night he spends cuddling with her. always love the slow start of "Okay she's kinda cute I guess. She has cute tendencies sometimes. There, you happy? I admitted it. Now leave me alone." which in the span of about 3 days RAPIDLY spills into being unable to think about anything else to the point he can barely hold a conversation with anyone because his mind keeps daydreaming back to holding her in his arms. All day feeling like "I can still feel her warmth on me..." and has to keep being snapped back to reality by everyone around him

he can barely even talk to mochi because he keeps thinking about it. has no idea what to say to her the next day. is very quiet. and mochi thinks hes mad/uncomfortable with her now, since hes always so standoffish to girls at school she thinks she might be in that category now. so the next night while lime is about to go to bed, STILL THINKING ABOUT IT, and he gets a text from her that reads something like: [Hey lime!! about last night- sorry i fell asleep on you!! i know your not super comfortable with that stuff!! it wont happen again!! 🙇‍♀️ see you tomorrow!] and he feels his heart drop to his fucking stomach. lays there reading it back over and over with his thoughts a mix of "Yeah I guess that makes sense, it happened by accident. It was never gonna be a repetitive thing." vs "Won't happen again...? Like....ever? Are you fucking kidding me? I never get that ever again?"

eventually after an hour of tossing and turning, thinks up some bullshit excuse to sneak over to her house and climb up over her little bedroom balcony, knocks on her window and says something like "Hey uhhh you forgot one of your socks over at my place so I brought it back." or something that is absolutely stupid and could've definitely waited for the next day. manages to weasel his way into crawling into her bed with her because every bone in his body is telling him to.
