It’s not very strong but I’m convinced I have a Chicago or at least Midwestern accent, and I’ve noticed I say some things kinda differently than I’d expect to
And really to reiterate I know I’m saying piranha and almond incorrectly, at this point I refuse to change out of spite and stubbornness. Plus piranha should have the same vowel as plant so the mario enemy’s name (which is where I first learned the word) makes sense 😤

are you changing your user on tumblr too or just your youtube? also, i checked out your vampire asmrs. Where is your accent from?
Hello Anon!
I’m gonna be changing it on everything! Since I’m legally getting my name changed this year, I figured now was a good time for a rebrand!
And about the accent… 😅
Umm I don’t know, that’s just kinda my reading out loud voice…
Im from Michigan (US), but my nanny growing up was German and Russian and I was raised on UK television shows. And because of my autism I tend to mimic accents subconsciously, so my accent just fluctuates throughout the day depending on who I’m talking to, or if I’m talking quiet or singing.
Hope that answers your question 😂, sorry it’s not like a solid answer but it’s the best I got!

I remember discussing Tintin casting choices with a friend from Germany and remarked how it was odd he often has an English accent in adaptations rather than a Belgian one, and my friend just replied "that's because Tintin gives incredibly strong English boy energy (derogatory)"
Here in the UK there's a lot of weird classism tied into accents. Today accent diversity and representation in broadcasting is actively pursued but in Tintin's time there certainly was a preferred accent to have.
imagine this exchange happens between pages 28-29 in The Crab with the Golden Claws

There’s something extremely heartbreaking about Nicos cameo/first words in the show being him looking for Bianca. He’s always going to be the little boy looking for his big sister. Season three is going to be the end of me.

Tbf she has, according to The Lore about Togruta headbands, killed a carnivorous giant predator that regularly decimates entire villages, at fourteen, as her coming of age hunt.
Granted, this is legends, but...
damn. or she found a loophole

i love your riddle design so much, he's so pointy and british. so gracious. do you think he would enjoy a brazilian goiabada
thank you! ❤️🖤❤️ it's just. important to me on a level I can't explain that Riddle have an extremely pointy nose that he can stick into everyone else's business.
also goiabada is sweet and fruity and red, I think he would like it very much indeed!

things I expected from watching glass onion with my family: a fun evening with a movie I know we’ll all enjoy
things I did not expect from watching glass onion with my family: my mother going on a 15 minute rant about how much she hates Hugh grant (based on his 15 seconds of screen time) and how Benoit Blanc deserves better, and then my dad defending Hugh Grant because he was holding a sourdough starter and that’s the ‘sign of a caring partner’
