Summary: Reduced to just four men trying to outrun the law that pursues them, John Marston hears tell of a diamond that could solve all their problems — they just have to steal it. The consequences aren't like anything they could have imagined.

Woefully overdue, but I can’t thank @nebulathisimdone enough for not only their gorgeous piece of art, but also for their kindness and patience as I wrestled through my half of @rdrbigbang‘s reverse bang event. I was incredibly excited to get my hands on this piece even though I’ve never included fantasy/magical elements into any of my rdr fics before, so it was an interesting challenge that I hope I do justice to.
