Payton & River’s sexuality

Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed the 2nd season of The Politician but the more I think about the way they handled Payton and River’s sexuality, the angrier I get. There was no good reason for them to deny they were sexually or romantically attracted to each other when that was implied throughout the entire first season. 

They kissed, (almost?) had sex, said they loved each other and they decided to explain all of that away by stating they both just ‘wanted to be close and connected to each other in a different way’ WHAT KINDA BS is that?

Right before River took his own life he literally told Payton “He really did love him” and then at his funeral Payton sang a song for him that included lyrics such as “he loved me so naughty, made me weak in the knees” that does not happen when both characters are straight. 

Not to mention they released promo posters like this one???

In conclusion, I don’t care what the canon says: River and Payton are queer and Ryan Murphy should really consider fixing this in the next season.

Why do I keep suffering for the gays?

I always start watching TV shows or movies for one reason only. Because there's supposed to be LGBT stories or at least one couple.

But I always end up suffering, I end up emotionally destroyed and emotionally connected to characters and their stories.

As in the case of the polititian and banana fish. I didn't get anything. And I stayed there because I fell in love with the characters.

And in the case of skam, God. I've been suffering for three years, I've cried to a group of Norwegian teenagers who don't exist.
