M's Marvel Thought of the Day
Daniel Sousa, now settled in the 21st century, looks up what happened to his friends from his own timeline.
Daisy had already gently broken the news about Peggy's death to him. They visited her grave site and talked about the adventures and missions the two had been on.
He read the case file on Howard and Maria Stark's death, the Winter Solider case and knowledge of who he was sending him for a loop. He'd met Sergeant Barnes once, that day when he thought he would die on the battle field. He had never been Howard's biggest fan but no one deserved that.
He read the obituaries of Ana and Edwin Jarvis, found they were buried in New York, side by side as they'd been in life. He left pink flowers - Ana's favourite colours of peonies - on their grave, and thanked them for their friendship and support.
There had been two people he'd been somewhat surprised to find out were still alive and unbelievably in the same old people's home in DC. He'd been unsure whether visiting would be a good idea but after some gentle investigating from Daisy and Mack, he found himself entering a rec room. There was various elderly people around, reading newspapers or napping in high backed armchairs. But no-one looked familiar. Daisy squeezed his hand before getting the attention of one of the nurses, who led them around the corner of the room.
As they make their approach when Daniel hears a far too familiar voice, making him stop in his tracks.
"Ha! Got you again Thompson, pay up!" Rose Roberts, with now grey hair but with the same thick glasses, smirked triumphantly across the top of the checkers board.
The older man across the table groaned. "We go through this every damn day Rose. Can we go back to Chess?" Daniel took in the older man he'd known a life time ago, hair still slicked back in the way it had always been. A cane leant against the wall behind him and he coughed after laughing at Rose's comeback.
"Chief Thompson? Agent Roberts?" The nurse asked drawing their attention. "You have some visitors."
Both former agents looked across to see Daniel standing with an indecipherable look on his face.
"Fucking hell..."
"What the hell..." Their voices overlapped suddenly.
"Hey Rose, hey Jack." Daniel said stepping forward. Rose struggled to her feet, using the table to leverage herself up.
"Chief? Is that really you?" Rose looked up at him, his arms coming up to help balance her.
"It's me. It's good to see you Rose." And he found himself engulfed in her arms, wrapping his back around her and holding her tight. "God it's good to see you Rose."
"How the hell are you here?" She said as she looked back up to him. "And who's the beautiful woman you brought with you?" She fixed him with that same mischievous look she used to shoot at him all the time after glancing to Daisy who stood off to the side. Always so invested in his love life, so he chuckled.
"I can explain everything I promise. Why don't we sit?" He helped her back to her chair, glancing across to Jack who had his hand's in fists on the other side of the table. "Hi Thompson."
"Who are you?" He demanded. "You're sure as hell not Daniel Sousa. He died in...55." He paused remembering the exact year. "We buried him. We... mourned him. You sure as hell aren't him."
"I can explain that I am Jack."
"I am 102, not stupid." Rose scoffed, making both men turn to her.
"Jack do be serious. What about Rogers? He came back to Peg did he not?"
"How can we be sure? It may be some traitor. Davey was telling me just the other day about those shape shifting aliens Fury was palling around with..." Jack started saying.
"How about this Jack? I'll prove it to you." The older man looked puzzled but let him continue. "Before you went to Russia with Carter, met the Howling Commandoes when we were investigating Stark. You tricked me in the locker room, into seeing Carter changing. You asked me to get your compass from..."
"Locker 42." Jack finished his sentence and looked Daniel up and down, his gaze resting on the prosthetic leg.
"I've still only got one leg but the future makes a better prosthetic than Stark by a mile." Daniel joked, and Jack stood at that, pulling Daniel into a hug that he was not expecting. "It's good to see you too Jack."
They sat back down, chairs pulled up for Daniel and Daisy, as they told the story of faking his death, and pulling him out of time. Of their adventures into space and the weird and wacky things he'd discovered in the 21st Century.
They told him stories from their own lives after his death, cases he'd missed out on, Howard's ridiculousness. Peggy's rise to power. The three old friends spoke fondly of her, recalling stories from throughout the time they spent with her.
Rose grilled him and Daisy on their story and relationship, telling Daisy all the embarrassing things that Daniel had been happy to leave behind in the 50's. The unlikely pair giggled and formed a friendship.
Rose told her stories of her first and second marriage, her daughter, son-in-law and grandson who would visit every weekend.
Jack had been married when Daniel died, to Peggy's lovely personal secretary Ruth who knew how to put him in his place. They'd only had a daughter the year or two before Daniel supposedly died. Jack talked about how they'd gone on to have three more daughters, now had 8 grandchildren, including a grandson who had joined SHIELD recently (Daniel promised to keep an eye out for him). Then, his Ruth had passed a few years ago and Daniel expressed his condolences.
At that moment, a young boy, probably 5-years-old barrelled into the room and to Jack's side. "Pops, Pops!"
"Hey there, Danny. How's my favourite guy?" With surprising strength for a man of his years, Jack swung the young man up till he was sat on his knee.
"I'm good! Momma's coming now." He pointed to where a pretty blonde was making her way across the room, shaking her head as she stooped to kiss Jack on the cheek and ruffle her son's head.
"Sorry Grandpa, the traffic was horrendous." She greeted Rose much the same way, passing her a package. "Fudge from that place on 4th for your Rose, Danny over there insisted." She turned to the guests who sat between them. "Hello, I'm Ruthy." She shook their hands.
"Ruthy, this is Daniel and Daisy. Daniel, Daisy, my granddaughter Ruthy and her son, Danny." Jack smirked at Sousa as his great-grandson played with the watch on his wrist.
"Danny? Huh." Was the only thing Daniel came up with as he watched an old friend acting like a goofy grandparent.
"Yeah, Grandpa had a friend called Daniel who saved his life a bunch of times when he was younger. Used to tell us stories all about Sousa and Carter and their adventures. We never believed him until we found out where he worked." Ruthy filled in nonchalantly, sitting on the opposite side of the table, digging through her bag to produce a water bottle for her son unaware of the look on Daniel's face. Jack smirked massively. "Here, Grandpa. I managed to grab that album from storage that you wanted." She handed across a large leather bound photo album to the older man, who flipped through a few pages.
"Here you go Daisy, you'll like this one." Jack smirked, that old charming smile creeping onto his face as he passed the now open book across to her, Daniel peering over her shoulder and scoffing.
"Woah." Ruth finally looked up, glancing at the photo and then back up to Daniel and back again. "Well. I cannot believe it took me that long. I knew you looked familiar. I thought it was just Quake that had me thinking that."
Daisy smirked. "You don't seem surprised?"
"Oh I've worked at Stark Industries for a long time, I'm so used to superheroes and weird tech not much surprises me anymore. You see Tony Stark walking round in Iron-Man pants one too many times and you get over stuff pretty quickly." She levelled Daniel with a look. "Time travel huh?"
"Yes. But I haven't seen these in literal years." He said his hand tapped a few photos. One from the first day of opening the first SHIELD base, Thompson and Howard Stark stood either side of Peggy and Daniel. Another of Peggy, Daniel and Rose throwing confetti at Jack's wedding. One of Daniel and Thompson with Peggy on her Wedding Day. An outtake of that one where Howard was attempting to jumping into frame and Jarvis dragging him out, while the three of them laughed lay below it.
He could still picture that party, he could hear the band playing, memories of Peggy dancing with Rogers, happy and content. He remembered how happy he was for her.
Daisy squeezed his knee beneath the table and brought him back to the present. He pressed a kiss to her temple and continued the conversation. They had coffee and cake and Rose shared her fudge. Daisy made lunch trolley roll across the room, making Jack's great-grandson shriek in delighted laughs and push it back into a position where she could do it again and again.
They left hours later and Daniel felt more settled than he had done in a long time. Daisy squeezed his hand as they drove away.
They'd return to visit every time they were in town, which was more often these days now SHIELD HQ was there, sometimes together, sometimes alone. They met all of both of their families, attended Ruth's 100th birthday. Brought presents for Daniel's namesake's birthday.
When Daisy and Daniel tied the knot, two reserved seats on the front row of the groom's side were filled my two of his oldest friends some of their families just a couple rows back. They 'snuck' them into new SHIELD HQ to see all the new tech and planes, the memorial wall that included people they'd known a lifetime ago.
Daniel loved the future, loved living his life alongside Daisy and her family. But knowing his friends were there, getting to spend time with them was an unexpected but valuable thing for him. It gave him a link to the past, someone to shoot the breeze with, with some similar experiences from the past. A taste of a previous life he was grateful for as he lived his new one.

Prelims, Vote 1 of 8
The top 4 finales will move on to be included in the main bracket
Propaganda is under the cut, may include spoilers
Agent Carter - 2.10 Hollywood Ending
Just as Peggysous became canon, just as Jack is about to start his redemption arc, they cancelled the show and left all of us on a massive cliffhanger for, let's see, almost 8 years at this point. We need ANSWERS.
Daybreak - 1.10 FWASH-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
It was written as a cliffhanger for a second season that would never come, but it just felt flat. The one objective that our leading lad (Josh) had been chasing (saving Sam) was rendered pointless, because the moment the big bad was defeated she effectively declared herself the new big bad and everyone who wasn't a major character went 'hmmm, okay!' And accepted it! They didn't even address this all that well, just ended with a shot of the MCs looking shocked.
Doctor Who - 12.10 The Timeless Children
this finale is shit!! absolute ass! nothing happens in it for it to justify having such a cool name. the master captures the doctor, shows her a slideshow that amounts to ‘‘you’re adopted!! :)" doctor breaks out of her matrix prison thing by overloading it with memories when the matrix is The Supercomputer and it’s used to hold all memories of all time lords ever? you know, the species whove been doing their thing for a billion years and live up to 10,000 years? the doctors new memories should either already be there or make nary a dent in it. the doctor’s like ‘‘why would they do that! why would they lie?’’ girl they have been lying to you since forever. they killed you once. theyve tried to kill you so many times. they turned you into a fucked up anti time monster that one time. one of the doctors past past selves even told her it doesnt really matter!! what was even the point
Loki - 1.06 For All Time. Always.
The series was going downhill past Episode 3 tbh, but it really just was a load of crap only interested in setting up the multiverse
Tales of Arcadia - Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans
This finale undoes everything the show worked for. In order to give itself stakes it kills off a few characters, but in a way that only indirectly impacts the MCs (such as Jim's Mom's fiancé getting killed). Then, at the end of the special, the main character uses time travel to go back to the start of S1E01 and changed history so he never becomes the trollhunter. Instead he makes his next friend the trollhunter instead. In terms of anticipation it was not at all what anyone was anticipating. (I had assumed he'd go to the start of the special and defeat the titans without any casualties). Having undone time only he remembers the previous timestream and he makes no effort to engage with it outside of accepting his changeling principal far sooner.
Ted Lasso - 3.12 So Long, Farewell
This trash ass finale undid three seasons of character development for every single person involved (except Nate!). A long-distance parent returned "home" despite having no attachments besides his child and leaving behind his entire found family, an abused and neglected woman was left behind by the person who taught her she didn't deserve abuse and neglect, and two characters who spent the whole show learning to cooperate and care for each other got into a fistfight over the girl they both dated.
Torchwood - 3.05 Day Five
No propaganda submitted

One of the reasons I love Dousy so much is it's a second love ship for both of them but it never feels like a rebound, they moved on from their pasts and are making a unique connection with each other that has nothing to do with their exes or trying to get over someone else. I shipped Peggysous during AC too so no hate, but that felt like a major rebound on Peggy's side and like she was still pining for Cap, and I always thought Daniel deserved better than that. Also it's poetic that Daisy fell in love with a literal WWII veteran who fought the Nazis after everything Grant and HYDRA did to her, she deserved the happiest ending
YES TO ALL OF THIS!!
One benefit i think Dousy has is that it happens 3-4 years after Lincoln and 5-10 years after Peggy, so it feels like both characters have developed past their previous love interests.
And I agree about how PeggySous feels like a rebound, especially after Endgame and What If.
And i LOVE that added poetry of Sousa being a WWII vet after what Ward and Hydra did to Daisy. And bonus points, it feels like Sousa fits the image of who Daisy thought Ward was. Being a stickler for the rules while still being kind. Of course Sousa has way more charm and a sense of humour that Ward didn't have.

since daniel has been murdered in his own time and enver gjokaj is only credited for a handful of episodes, what are they gonna do with his character? obviously he's not going to be appearing in every episode and i highly doubt he'll actually be killed off. and joining the future shield team seems far fetched.
but speaking of far-fetched, you know what would be really stupid and would really upset me? if they brought daniel sousa to the future and that's why we see him in the 2012 avengers movie as a police officer and that's how they're gonna play that off... just a convenient way to tie that all up in a neat bow and call it a day.
i... i'm just... i have a lot of feelings rn...

Peggysous Week Day 5
Words: 1,230
Summary: Peggy and Daniel gear up to apprehend Dottie Underwood in the wake of Jack’s shooting, but he shows them he’s not ready to be sidelined just because of his injury.
Prompt:  “if you two idiots are done flirting, we have a job to do.”
today’s @peggysousweek theme was dialogue prompts, and I picked this one from a document of prompts i had stashed in the depths of my drive.
also on ao3 • peggysous masterlist
Tumblr media
They had just broken apart from a quick kiss when Jack walked into the chief’s office, and he immediately  pulled his face into one of mock disgust. “Really? You’re going to be like this at work too?”
Peggy and Daniel looked up at their friend with their eyebrows raised, and they knew he was just pulling their leg. Jack had found out that they were together the previous day, when Peggy and Daniel sat him down and admitted to it. Jack hadn’t been shocked (“you acted like lovesick puppies every single day when we all worked in New York and you expect me to be surprised by this?”), but Peggy and Daniel knew he was going to bust their chops about it.
He was in LA for the foreseeable future, staying at Howard’s mansion while he recovered from the gunshot wound to his abdomen (after what happened, he wasn’t too keen on hotels, which was understandable) and he had taken up the unofficial job of annoying Peggy and Daniel all day long. The doctors didn’t want him doing any field work, which he definitely wasn’t happy about, so he had to let out his energy elsewhere.
When the SSR caught a lead about Dottie Underwood’s potential whereabouts, he was all in. Dottie Underwood was a case he had a personal stake in, and there really wasn’t anyone else in the office who was truly aware of how dangerous she was, so the brunt of the casework was put on the three of them, even if Peggy wasn’t sure it was the best idea to include Jack.
She was supposedly living in an abandoned office building just outside the city, and Peggy and Daniel spent days planning the perfect ambush, so they could catch her off guard and take her in once and for all. They made one mistake in planning all this though, and that was sharing the some of the details of their plan with Jack and letting him sit in on the brainstorming process. Apprehending Dottie Underwood would definitely be on the list of things that doctors considered too strenuous for him to be doing during his recovery, and Peggy and Daniel were surprised by how well he took the news that he wouldn’t be coming along to catch Dottie.
That should have been the first clue that he was up to something. The second clue should have been the fact that Jack left early from the office that day, saying that he wanted to relax a little bit.  They had simply waved him off, not thinking about the fact that he might be lying to them, and continued to plan for that evening.
And he was, in fact, lying to them. He had taken a cab to work that morning, so there was no car on site for him to leave in, which was exactly what he wanted. It was cool enough outside in the late October air for him to sneak into the back of one of the SSR’s cars and curl up in the backseat. He stayed quiet and still until he heard Peggy and Daniel’s voices coming closer to him, so he threw a shock blanket over himself and and made his body as small as he could.
Peggy and Daniel didn’t notice anything was amiss as they got into the car (thankfully it was the car Jack was hiding in - he didn’t know what he’d do if they had picked the other one) and all Jack focused on was making his breathing as silent as he possibly could. Daniel glanced in the back of the car once and commented that the last agent to use it had left all of the equipment strewn over the seat, but he didn’t touch the blanket. Jack just hoped that they wouldn’t notice he was there until he decided to make his presence known.
Peggy and Daniel were almost sickeningly sweet when they were alone together, because they really couldn’t stop flirting with each other for one evening to catch the most dangerous criminal the SSR has ever faced. He was sure they had matching lovesick smiles on their faces, and he just hoped that they wouldn’t start kissing while he was in the car. His side was starting to hurt, and he was sure he was aggravating his wound more every second he spent curled up in the back of the car, but catching Dottie Underwood was the most important thing on his mind, so he stuck through it. He couldn’t reveal himself until they got to wherever they were going, or they might just turn around and drive him back to Stark’s.
He felt the car slow to a stop about 20 minutes after they first got in, Neither Peggy nor Daniel moved to get out, and they were whispering among themselves. “Is she in there?” he heard Daniel say quietly.
“The second window from the left has a light on,” Peggy responded. “That has to be her.”
In that moment, Jack threw off the blanket. “So, what’s the plan?”
Surprisingly, neither Peggy nor Daniel screamed, but they both drew their guns and pointed them right at Jack, who threw his hands up. “What?”
“What the hell are you doing here?” Peggy asked. Daniel put his gun down when he realized who was in the car with them, but Peggy was much slower in lowering her weapon.
“I’m not about to let you two go after Dottie Underwood by yourselves!” Jack said. “You of all people should know how dangerous she is!”
“All the more reason why you shouldn’t be here!” Peggy said. “I saw you limping around the office earlier, don’t try and tell me you’re fine!”
“It doesn’t matter, you need all the help you can get when it comes to Underwood,” Jack said. “And we’re wasting time arguing like this, she could slip through our fingers at any moment.”
Peggy didn’t want to agree with him, but he was right. “We are not done with this conversation,” she hissed.
Jack nodded and then got out of the car. There were no streetlights in this part of town, so he stood in the pitch black night and waited for Peggy and Daniel. He could make out their forms still sitting in the car, and he heard a faint murmuring, but he couldn’t make out what they were saying. Getting impatient, he knocked on the car window. “If you two idiots are done flirting, we have a job to do!”
“You know,” Daniel said as they finally got out of the car. “We are slightly regretting telling you about our relationship.”
“I think I’d rather I didn’t know too, Sousa.”
With a stroke of good luck, they managed to apprehend Dottie Underwood when she was trying to escape, and they handcuffed her and loaded her in the back of the sedan. And because Jack snuck into the operation, he had to sit next to her. Peggy and Daniel chatted aimlessly the entire ride back to the SSR, but Jack and Dottie sat silently in the back. “Something seems different about them,” Dottie said after about 5 minutes on the road.
Jack looked over at her. “Take it from me, if I tell you what’s going on you’ll wish I hadn’t.”
He could hear Daniel chuckle at his statement from the passenger seat.

Sorry but... I still only ship Daniel x Peggy here🤷 No sousy for me.
Sorry not sorry.
Daisy and Daniel seem like new bff's to me, not lovers. He comforted her when she was hurt and stayed with the team bc there really isn't much for him in the 70's... If anything they could put him back in a different timeline or back in the 50's once everything is over. He'd just have to lay low for the rest of his life.
(I know that's a long shot but it's better than giving up on Peggysous.)
They implied Daisy being with Deke, or well Deke having a crush on her anyway, in previous seasons so it doesn't make sense to suddenly have Daniel in it to push him and Daisy together. It just seems off.
Peggysous only for me, no one can change my mind. Sousy as a brotp, not an otp😐 That's just my own opinion.

I know it's been ages since Endgame but
Tony's death. Fine, I can deal with that. Maybe. In time. I swear, I will. Eventually.
But you know what triggered me the most? Steve's ending. Just, ugh. First of all, that made zero sense. How long did he know Peggy again? Also, they kissed like, exactly once. And it was sort of a "good-luck-don't-die-out-there" kiss. How much time did he spend in the future again? He's got serious issues if he hasn't even moved on. Which, according to previous movies, was not the case.
But, that wasn't the worst thing. Obviously. The worst thing was the outright erasure of Daniel Sousa. Sousa, who worked so hard to prove that he wasn't just a random disabled man and became the director of the SSR; Sousa, who loved Peggy for who she was instead of who she appeared to be; Sousa, who was amazing, wonderful and an adorable, awkward dork. And the Russos had to go and decide that "Peggy Carter is Steve Rogers' soulmate and Steve should go back in time, disrupt the timeline to marry her". Come on, have you even seen how adorable Peggysous is?
I mean

Come on. That's the best ship in the entire history of Marvel. You can’t just throw Steve Rogers back in time and ruin everything for them.

Please dont read if you don’t want this spoiled

So ive decided that I’m gonna write a fic where both Peggysous and Steggy win. A previous post gave me the idea...and I think it could work. Can’t wait to write it tomorrow. Be on the look out!!

Conversation
Ships Rated By How Easy it is for Me to Write Them
Steggy: Ridiculously easy. I have a nearly constant stream of ideas. I almost never struggle with writing fics for this pairing. 10/10
PeggySous: Easy. Ideas aren't constant, but neither are they scarce. Not quite as easy for me to write as Steggy, but very close. 9/10
Scarlet Falcon: A little more difficult. No canon evidence for this ship, making concievable story ideas a bit harder to generate. Much more of a challenge than the previous two ships. 5/10
Staron: Very difficult. Ideas are scarce, due to lack of development in canon. Staron centered fics take me months to write. 3/10
Fitzsimmons: Impossible. I am incapable of coming up with ideas for this pairing. Brain block is unfortunate and makes me sad. 1/10

The Affair (Warning!! Smut assured)
Hey guys! It still contains violence, slander, and smut. Its still extremely ANTI-Steve Rogers and ANTI-Steggy. So if you support either one, do NOT read this. However, it is Pro- Peggysous! It is super long so I will separate it into sections. This is section 4 and the last one. Enjoy!! :)
2 weeks later:
There in Daniel Sousa's apartment, the sun shines brightly through the drawn curtains. He wraps his arms tighter around the woman lying beside him, and she begins to stir from her slumber. A soft moan echoes through the room as she turns around and faces him, laying her head on his chest and her arm around his torso.
"Good morning, Amor." He says as he places a kiss on her head. She chuckles and looks up at him.
"Good morning, love." The lips meet tenderly, and Daniel holds her tighter.  "How's your wrists feel?" "Better. Its only bad bruising," He gives her a look. "And one small sprain..."
"Mhm." Peggy laughs at him and kisses his chest. "What are the plans for today?"
"Well...I was hoping to go to the court and talk with the lawyer and finalize everything. I want this divorce to be over with as soon as possible." "Yeah." He says as he places a hand on her small bump. "What's gonna happen to Grant?" "He wants to be with Steve, which of course, is no surprise to me. I wouldn't want him to live or be with us anyway; especially with the little one." He looks down at her stomach and smiles.
"I love you. Both of you" Peggy laughs and kisses his cheek.
"We love you too." Hours go by in the day and Peggy finally gets back with her confirmation; she has officially been divorced. She walks out of the court and breaths in the fresh air of the day; it feels like a weight has been lifted from her life, and she couldn't feel happier. When she goes back to Daniel's apartment, its empty. He must still be at the office finishing up his shift. Peggy walks to their room and changes into a deep red dress with a crosscut out on her chest; with a little bit of cleavage showing; and she blushes. Although she doesn't need to impress him, she wants to. They've both had an eventful few weeks, and they could use the company and distraction. She looks at the clock and it read 5:00pm. Daniel should be getting home soon, so, she turns on the radio and sways to music as it fills the room.
"Peg?" Daniel walks in and hears the radio paying.
"Daniel." Peggy walks to the door and places her arms over his neck. "Took you long enough." He laughs.
"Sorry. I had to finish my shift." Their lips meet for a gentle kiss. When they break apart, Peggy takes his hand and they walk together. "So how'd it go in court today?"
"Actually..." He sighs in disappointment. "It went perfect." He looks at her and smiles brightly.
"Seriously?"
"Indeed." She takes his crutch from him and sets it against the chair. "In fact, you are looking at a divorced woman. And I am now free." She beams up at him as she takes his hands in hers. He leans down and kisses her gently.
"I'm so happy for you, Peggy."
"I wouldn't have ever done this without you. I should have done it a long time ago...but I suppose I needed to see what real love was like to know that I wanted it." Daniel places one hand on her hip and keeps the other in her hand.
They sway lightly to the music to accommodate Daniel's leg. He twirls her around and she comes back to him again and again. She rests her head on his chest as he holds her close. The soft slow music fills the room and everything in this moment brings Peggy to the realization; everything that she has worked her whole life for has finally arrived. She's longed to be accepted and loved for the woman she is, and to have that acceptance from someone who will love her and never overshadow her; instead they are equals. And Daniel Sousa is defiantly that. She looks at the man that has infiltrated her mind. His eyes are closed as he sways and holds her; enjoying this time they have. When he finally opens his eyes, their eyes meet, and their souls are bare to the other. She smiles at him and laughs.
"What?" He laughs in return.
"I have something I want to give you."
"For what?" He looks at her puzzled.
"Just because I love you. And I want to let you know how happy you make me, and how much better my life is because of you..." She pulls away, slightly, and reaches for the zipper of her dress. Slowly, she pulls it down and shrugs it off. It pools at her feet as she stands before him, in nothing but her brassier and underwear. He stares in shock and his mouth stays agape. She shoves him lightly and he sits down on the couch. Peggy straddles him and slowly kisses his lips. He returns the sentiment and lays his hands on her hips. She places her hands on his shirt and slowly undoes the buttons.
"Peg..." He starts to get aroused, but Peggy shakes her head.
"Slow..." She kisses his neck, shin, cheek, and forehead lightly; a small agonizing trail for him.
Daniel runs his hands up her back and relishes in the feeling of her skin. The time around them feels as if its slowed; and the two soul mates don't seem to mind. She undoes each button one at a time as their lips press together slowly. She runs her hand on his chest and places attentive kisses there. Daniel keeps his hands on her brassier, and she nods in confirmation. He undoes the hooks and the takes it off. She moans quietly and he leaves a trail of light electricity on her skin. He leans down and kisses her chest in return. Her hands run threw his hair and she presser herself against him; this feeling of a perfect intimacy fills the atmosphere.
"Darling..." She whispers. He looks up at her and their lips meet once more, and their mouths collide in an instant; but not a dual...a dance. A slow sweet dance that they treasure in this moment. She stands before him and undoes his trousers. He lifts his hips and they get pulled down. Peggy stands before him as he pulls down her nickers, and then she sits down again. Their eyes freeze together as their bodies connect, and everything is as it should be. She moans a quiet moa, and he does the same. He brings a hand to her hair and runs it through, bring her face to his... She rocks against him, up and down, back and forth, and he skims her body with his hands. He thrust up to meet her and she gasps; and its music to his ears.
"Meu amor..." He says, breathless. She smiles and snogs him again, never stopping in their dance; their dance of love. As she moves down, he thrust up, and they both moan and groan in perfect pleasure. Peggy wraps an arm around his neck and hold her lips to his as they cum together in their kiss. They break apart and laugh in their spent bliss. Daniel holds her close and whispers in her ear to keep this beautiful silence. "I love you." She holds his face in her hands and kisses one once more.
"I love you too."
4 Years later:
There on a bright sunny day in New York, three young brunette children play. Running around in a small quiet park, as their parents sit on the bench, laughing at the beautiful sight of their happy children. The father holds his wife on his lap as she keeps an arm around his neck. He places a hand on her growing belly as he smiles and kisses her nose. Never in a million years could you convince this woman that she would have 4 children to call her own running and yelling in a park as she holds her husband as if it were the last time. Her previous marriage was that of a miserable one, and one with a child she despised; but now everything is different, and she is now happy with her life.
In this blissful moment the growing family is unaware of the two people watching them. A father and a son continue to stare from a distance. When they first noticed the children running and playing, they didn't think anything of it. That is until they hear the mother's voice.
"Careful poppets! No chasing your sister with the stick, she'll fall." She calls out. They would recognize that voice anywhere; it's the voice of a woman they so long despised and blame for the ruin in their lives. They watch the family as they enjoy their day, and then notice the bulge in her stomach. The father snickers in anger.
"And to think she always said she never wanted kids. Now she has five." He says.
"And one of them she has nothing to do with." The son says angrily. "She replaced the family she already had." His face turns a bright red and he looks to his father.
"I think its time for a little family reunion. Don't you think so, Grant?"
"Yeah. I do." The father and son duo walk over to the Sousa family and stand by the bench. "Guess you got the kids you always dreamed of, huh...mom." Peggy and Daniel turn to the side and are frozen in shock.
"Grant?" She looks at him and then to his right. "Steve? What-"
"I thought you said you never wanted kids. And that you hated the thought of having a lot." Peggy gets off of Daniel's lap and stands, her body tense. "That's one hell of a lie."
"Its not a lie. At the time I didn't want them. Especially with you." She says. Daniel stands beside har and keeps his free arm around her waist.
"Yeah, why is that exactly?" "I don't know, Rogers. Perhaps its because I never saw myself having a family with you. Or the fact that I was terrified to have children. OR maybe its because I was afraid to die in childbirth." Daniel holds her tighter to calm her down. The young children overhear their mother's voice, and they know she's not happy. "Any children we could have had could have had the serum and killed me. But you never thought of that, did you? Of course not. Instead it was all about you and have the trophy wife at home caring for your child." "OUR child. Grant is our son, and yet you haven't even made an attempt to see him in the last 4 years."
"I'm well aware of that. And that's my choice." She looks at Grant, dead in the eye. "I don't claim you as my son. I stopped thinking of you as my blood a long time ago." "How can you say that!" Grant yells.
"Its rather simple actually. I move my mouth and the talk, and the words came out." Peggy cheeks. Daniel smiles beside her holding in his laugh.
"And the man you had an affair with in our marriage? You just...married him, why again? Because you got pregnant, like a dumb-" "That's enough." Daniel finally speaks up.
"What're you gonna do? Huh? Crip." Grant spews. Peggy turns her head, slowly towards him; and gives him a deadly glare.
"I'm sorry, I must have miss heard. What did you just call my husband?" She asks calmly; and Daniel knows that's not a good sign. Neither of the Rogers say anything. "I asked you... a damn question!" Little Michael and Elizabeth look towards their mother as she raises her voice. The twins share a look and grab their little sister, Colleen. Elizabeth and Colleen stay together as Michael walks over to his Pai and Mum.
"You heard what I said...whore." Grant gets in Peggy's face. "I said he's a cri-"Before he finishes his sentence, Peggy lands a punch to his face. Steve looks at Peggy and raises his hand to grab her, but Michel runs at him and punches him in the balls.
"Don't touch my Mummy!!" He yells. Daniel and Peggy gasp. "Michael!?" They say, but he doesn't turn to look at them. Instead he looks at Grant and does the same thing; and both Roger boys back away. Peggy looks at the sight before her and can't help but laugh. She grabs her baby boy and hugs him tightly.  "Thank you, darling." She peppers him with kisses, and he giggles. His sisters come running and they all hug their parents. Elizabeth looks back at them and sees them get up, so she grabs a few rocks and chucks it at them; hitting Grant right in the eye and Steve in the balls.  "Damn, Lizzy! Nice shot!" He sits back down on the bench and holds her on his lap with Colleen. The Sousa family look at the Roger pair, and see the tow running away like scared little children. The growing family laughs and giggles at the events that just occurred, and then spend the rest of their day playing and enjoying their lives; finally in peace.
