Shy girl who has dragon powers instantly becomes friends with all the good guys and uses her gnarly dragon form to save the day. It sounds like it'd be in some super blatant self insert mary Sue fanfiction, but they pulled it off spectacularly

Nothing about her feels jarring or forced. She integrates with the overall cast and setting flawlessly. And her design is super cute

The concept and planned traits can be literally whatever. Just make sure the execution is good

Maybe I'm just being dramatic, but it's nice that we're back to having new characters who don't completely crash the train

had my first ever therapy session today. and it went well! it really did. my therapist is lovely and im actually excited to go back next week. things are okay. but ive been stuck in Fear Mode all day and it is. exhausting. i keep noticing im clenching every muscle in my body and i try to relax but it just starts happening again as soon as i get distracted. i wish my body could get with the program and turn off the fight flight freeze response already :/ the slow tigers are gone!! they are not chasing me anymore!!

not a big fan of coriolanus and Lucy gray as a couple tbh. they're so gay in opposite directions besties core. also coriolanus comes off kinda ace to me?? (movie version at least I have not read the book yet, and I'm also in denial of the last bit of the movie) he seems kinda to oblivious/preoccupied to deal with 'romance' and 'feelings'. tigris however is actually emotionally intelligent and is constantly on call for coryo to send her recordings of conversations to see if people are flirting with him, because no matter how good he is at fake flirting, he suuuuckksssss at genuine feelings
