They keep us terrorized by using negative space. 

We need to take up the full force of our Positive Space. 

We need to be framing things about how we deserve to Live. 

We need to step outside functioning constantly in the mode of pain avoidance. 

That’s where the ostrich comes in. 

The ostrich is not sticking her head under the sand to avoid.

The ostrich is defending and protecting.

The ostrich is aware. 

The ostrich builds a nest where her eggs - her offspring - her babies are protected underneath the sand.

Then she puts her own head down there to keep her babies comforted and protected.

While at the same time, the ostrich is able to remain aware of everything that’s going on around her.

Be Aware like an Ostrich.

Stepping over Christ

A temporary Christian steps over Christ's cross to take up, and keep up, the world's crown.

'Demas has forsaken us to embrace this present world' (2 Tim. 4:10).

The young man in the Gospel had many good things in him; he bid fair for heaven, and came near to heaven; but when Christ set his cross before him, he steps over that to enjoy the world's crown (Matt. 19:19-22). When Christ bid him, 'go and sell all that he had, and give to the poor—he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.' If heaven be to be had upon no other terms, Christ may keep his heaven to himself, he will have none!

My eldest sister told me she just tries to keep the peace, and she suggested that I should so the same. When I started awakening and noticing things with my mother and the golden child sister, I started asking my eldest sister questions. This was before we moved back to my home town and into my narcissistic mother's home. Even though she had been forthcoming with information about our mother's toxicity and it being the reason she and her husband had moved away, when I asked questions she was all "I just want to keep the peace". I must have been onto something, and as it turned out I found out after we moved back here that my mother is a narcissist and I was the lost child of my dysfunctional family, turned scapegoat after I started awakening and pointing out toxic behaviour.
