The Black Oni

Arthur woke up strapped to a chair. He found his limbs bound tightly along with any joint that could allow him movement. He tried to move and was quick to realize he was unable to. He went blank faced when a man entered the room with a toolbox. He sat the toolbox on the ground beside the chair and opened it. The man took out a scalpel. "You know I'm not going to talk right?" He asked. The other nodded and slowly got into a position to start cutting.

"We don't need anything from you. Your teammates already talked, and they were rescued over two hours ago. Apparently, they're saying you were already shot and killed before they could get to you in time. So now we can do with you whatever we want." The man grunted as he started removing Arthur's vest and undershirt. Arthur hissed as he was cut along the side. The other didn't seem too concerned with the injury and kept going. When the last piece of cloth was torn away from his chest, the man put the scalpel away and took out a sharpie. He began to mark along Arthur's body in different ways.

"The hell are you doing?" He snapped and the other man sighed softly. "You really need to hold still. If you don't and I make a mistake, it could kill you or severely injure you. What I'm doing is marking your skeletal structure. So, hold still and maybe you won't die from unnecessary injuries." He said as he continued along his sternum. Arthur paled at that knowledge and forced himself to breathe slowly. If they were planning something for him, he had to do as told in order to keep from dying.

When two other soldiers entered the room, the other backed off to let them untie Arthur around the waist and shoulders. They held him down and let the man do the rest of his work silently. When he marked up his spine, Arthur shivered. The man snorted and then capped his sharpie. "What's so funny, asshole?" Arthur asked. The other simply shook his head and the soldiers retied him to the chair. They all left Arthur to himself. The male felt his body started to gather adrenaline into his system.

But since it had nowhere to go, it only caused him to pant and sweat. He stayed like that for a while before a nurse came in with scissors and an old-fashioned razor. She said nothing as she cut his hair and shaved it as close to his scalp as she could. When she was done, she came around to his front and pulled the earring from his left ear. Arthur jerked to get it back. "You will get it back once Doctor Murphy decides you can have it back." She said as she walked out of the room.

Two other male nurses entered the room with a gurney and untied him from the chair. They were quick in getting him on the gurney and restraining him to it. He arched up to try and get loose but one of the orderlies hit him in the stomach. He coughed and went limp the rest of the way to the new location. When they entered a sterile looking room, they moved him to the table. Then the two male orderlies left, and another nurse entered with a needle. She found a pressure point and injected him with the liquid in it.

"This will numb you. And a tube will be placed down your throat to help you breathe. Once the process has begun, you will be sedated and won't wake up for the remainder of the program." She said as she picked up a tube, he assumed was going to help him breathe. When a machine started below him, he felt the pressure but not the pain. Blood began to leave his body and he felt lightheaded. She pushed the tube down his windpipe, and he coughed again at the pain. When she pulled away, his eyes began to flutter shut and his world began to fade away.

The nurse injected him with the sedatives and then the world around him went dark and Arthur felt no more.

The Subject was sedated, and his pressure points located. Then a needle was pressed into the skin above each area containing a vein system. Anywhere that would cause massive bleeding otherwise. Doctor Murphy, the man behind this new program, smiled as he went over to the one-way mirror. He watched as the nurse pushed the machine that would wipe him clean of his past memories to his skull. She activated it and the Subject's body arched up.

The doctor was thought to be the same as the old one. The one who made the only successful Widowmaker. But he was not like that. He would make sure he had no memory of his past, no emotions to remember, and no anchor to pull him from his new programming. Code words will be installed to make sure no one can permanently damage his conditioning. The machine he was currently dealing with would erase any memories he may have.

Another machine would suppress them and allow the code words to take hold. He gently picked up a needle containing the serum given to one Gabriel Reyes. Though it was killing the original blood cells, he did not need them. He only needed the serum itself. He entered the room and stood next to the Subject. Doctor Murphy lifted one of his arms and injected the serum into the Subject's blood stream. Black began to take over the veins that were once blue.

Doctor Murphy moved to his head and opened one of his eyes, the sclarea went black and the iris into red. The Subject once had beautiful green eyes and brown hair. Sadly, his eyes did not fit the design of the Assassin he had in mind. The Subject's hair, once brown as the earth, went a pure white. When it grew out, Doctor Murphy had no doubt that it would be beautiful. The skin turned a dead grey. But the doctor knew the Subject was still alive.

He injected another serum similar to Jack Morrison's. That serum would prevent the other from killing the Subject. Yet it would leave whatever abilities gained unharmed. Doctor Murphy smiled a bit as he turned to the door. He motioned towards himself and Widowmaker entered the room. "Come, my dear, come see your new partner. He isn't ready for action, far from it, but I would like you to see him for the first time." He said as her eyes wandered along the Subject's body.

Doctor Murphy patted the Subject's left leg. "Soon enough, my dear, he will be the one to take on the assignments you could not. He could even take down those pesky super soldiers Moira was telling me about." He smiled when the woman looked at him in a blank manner. But he could still see the surprise buried deep in her eyes. After some time, Doctor Murphy motioned her out and he followed. This process would take time to complete.

The process of erasing the Subject's memories took four days with him sedated. The serum could not heal the damage fast enough to save them. The Subject was moved to another room to begin the second phase of Doctor Murphy's program. They slowly but gently amputated his lower legs and left arm. The legs were replaced by robotic prosthetics along with the arm. The Subject's lower jaw was carefully removed and replaced with a metal one.

The connection points along his jaw were connected to his nerves and a synthetic skin was placed over the jaw. His eyes were given a new serum that would enhance his sight. His left arm was replaced with a robotic one that gave him enhanced technopathic abilities. His right arm was left alone to allow normal activities. His spine was removed to give way to a new one with a longer connection. This connection would allow the Subject to get data from any omnic or robotic data core. It came down to his knees when extended.

The Subject was redressed with new bullet proof armor. The metal an alloy made from omnic remains found in the old warehouse near the base. The process of adding code words took longer with the new enhancements given to the Subject. And by the time they were, the news of Overwatch's destruction had reached all around the world. This did not deter Doctor Murphy and Talon as they worked to make the perfect assassin.

Reaper was introduced to the Oni after he recovered from the explosion that nearly killed him. He found the red mask and white hair to be unnerving. The black armor was sleek and easily able to blend in anywhere. The red eyes watched him silently as he circled the other. The Oni did not look as though he had a weapon. But Reaper was aware that Talon had made him the weapon.

The Oni's creator, Doctor Richard Murphy, stood over at the door of the room. He was smiling as the Oni was inspected by this Champion of Death. Reaper got into the Oni's face and looked into his eyes, finding no emotion or even a hint of anything in them. He stood back and gave a slow nod. "And you're sure he can handle Morrison?" The hooded male asked. "Of course. My creation was made with the threat of super soldiers in mind. Along with anything else that may threaten Talon or those in it."

The Doctor watched as the Reaper lifted his hand to the mask covering the Oni's face. He removed the mask and looked over the face of the man underneath. "You used him? We all thought he was dead." Reaper said as he slowly placed the mask back on the Oni's face. Doctor Murphy chuckled and shook his head. "Well, my friend, now he is. Now all that is left is the Oni. And when he is released to the world, no one will remember who he was before. Just who he is now." The Doctor approached and gently placed a long katana onto the Oni's back.

The doctor adjusted it to fit along his spine without getting in the way of the tail. "Is there a way to deal with him if he gets out of hand?" Reaper asked. Doctor Murphy nodded and showed him the book containing the Oni's many enhancements and the very code words in all languages. "My assistant was very careful with her work. Making sure anyone could read his code words should he get out of hand." The doctor said as he walked with Reaper to the door. The other scientists in the room got the Oni prepared for his final wipe and cryo preparation.

Soon the Oni was placed into storage until he was absolutely needed.

What I was thinking is their darling (preferably masculine, but gn works too) goes outside while they’re sleeping. Not because they’re trying to escape, but because they just wanted to go on the porch for a bit. Darling doesn’t even think about leaving, and is surprised when the person comes running outside for them, thinking that they left.

What do you think their reactions would be? Would they be mad, understanding, not really care?

The man sleeps like a log. Snores and everything, gives off a lot of body heat. It’s easy to be overwhelmed sharing a bed with him, especially on sleepless nights.

Luckily, due to his heavy sleeping, you’re able to slink out from underneath him and out the bedroom with little trouble. You’re surprised he doesn’t have other measures to prevent you from doing this.

You’re dying for fresh air, cracking open a window and resting your head in your hands as the breeze cools your skin. The desert at night is empty with stars painting the sky.

It takes some time before Cassidy notices you’re gone and he’s surprisingly cool-headed, partly because he’s just woken up.

He finds you looking out the open window, relieved that you haven’t left for good. Not that you could’ve made it very far without him.

“What’s the matter, sweetheart?” his arms wrap around you and presses you against his body’s musky heat.

“It’s so hot, Cass,” you whine, “I need some fresh air. Please?”

He takes you by the hand and leads you to the front door, stepping out onto the porch. You follow and sit with him, leaning your head on his shoulder.

The desert climate doesn’t make for perfect sleeping conditions, but it’s freeing. He holds you until you fall back asleep, stealing you back to bed soon after.

🖤 Reaper

Lightest sleeper, a pin drop will wake this man. Not that you would know, he keeps you in a separate room.

Did I say room? It’s more of a box, no windows or doors etc. Some toys to pass the time while he’s away. Not the most trusting yandere.

So you don’t have a lot of options when it comes to step out for a breather.

But the Reaper works at night. And when he’s off conducting Talon business, there’s no one to stop you if, say, you’ve stolen the keys to your chambers.

And let’s be honest, it’s probably not by your own merit that the keys ended up in your hands, knowing how much Reaper enjoys punishing you.

But it’s not like you were doing anything wrong. You weren’t exactly looking to escape, a part of you might not have wanted to and the other couldn’t afford the consequences. But staying indoors with such minimal resources was enough to drive anyone stir-crazy.

You miss the feeling the open breeze, the sound of birds and bugs buzzing around. Anything to remind you that the world did indeed exist outside of Reaper’s hold.

You brought blankets and pillows and laid yourself down on the porch - just to enjoy the outdoors without all its discomforts. Relax to the sound of crickets chirping.

Of course, you end up asleep, and when Reaper catches you out, he’s not at all happy to find you outside your room. Before you can even process all that is happening, you’re inside your chambers again.

His shadowed tendrils hold you against the wall, “Are you out of your damned mind?”

Black smoke filled your lungs, stammering your words, “I-I’m sorry I stole the keys, it’s just- I can’t stay in here for so long.”

“You have the gall to think I don’t know what’s best for you?” he releases you, letting you fall to the floor and gasping for air, “Earn your place.”

He leaves soon after and you can’t help but flog yourself for being so bold. Maybe if you keep complying to him, he might give you that freedom. Or it’s just another carrot to hang over your head.

🧡 Moira

She has safeguards in place that prevent you from outright leaving your quarters, but you’ve mostly free range.

Moira’s obsession with you is a bit different from the other yanderes because of her experimental tendencies.

She likes to see you come undone, whether by her own hand or keeping you under the influence of some test substance. So you don’t always have your wits about you, her way of restricting you.

Rarely do you have time to clear your head, desperate for reprieve. Most days the sun is far too bright for your adulterated state, but the moonlight is that goldilocks-perfect pale glow.

Moira has security measures in place, so she knows when you’ve left the house. And when she’s notified that you opened the front door, she’s livid.

When she confronts you, you think she’s going to tear the head off your shoulders without even a word as she pulled you back inside with little resistance.

“I’ve half a mind to keep you paralyzed,” she is fuming, jaw tight.

You writhe in her grasp, “Wait, Moira, I can explain-“

Yours words come out just as weak as your body as she shoves you into her lab.

“Keep your explanations to yourself. I’ll see to it you’ll never need them.”

Looks like you’ll have to find some other way to convince her to let you outside. (Bad ending vibes)

🩵 Soldier: 76

Big spoon. Very possessive. He holds you close and his weight is crushing. Most difficult one to sneak away from in these circumstances.

Even if you try to break away, he’ll pull you back into him. You’ll need deliberation and luck on your side to slip away.

If only you could have the house to yourself. Just waste time on the living room couch, watching some TV and eating snacks. Maybe take a hot bath.

But your captor was in the next room over, the last thing you wanted to do was wake him. Best you could do to relieve your muddled mind was to get some fresh air.

Your heart is thumping against your chest. Jack’s cardinal rule is to never leave the house, and if he caught you sneaking out like this who knows what he would do to you. Still, you had made it this far, you might as well enjoy the luxury.

And as you might expect, your absence is noted almost immediately. In fact, you’re no less than a few paces from the bedroom when his hand catches yours.

“Back to bed,” he commands, all gravel.

“No,” you protest, trying to halt him with a hand on his wrist but he leads you anyway, “I don’t want to go back to bed, I can’t breathe in here.”

He turns back to you, brows knit. He leads you past the bed and releases you on a pillowed surface, behind which was an elaborate work of contraints he restrained you against. It’s a dog bed, you realize.

“This will be your sleeping arrangement until you learn how to behave.”

I have a limit of 9 characters so I only did a few Overwatch members

Overwatch with mute s/o

Reaper

You always scare the crap out of him and he hates it

But he loves you so it balances out

He also knows your skill is useful in battle so that's a plus

Reaper will act like he doesn't care your mute but when he's alone he studies sign language books so you don't have to write everything down

Sombra

You two are the ultimate stealth masters

It's hard to sneak up on her but only you've managed it

During battle shelves running around with you especially since you can see her and follow her

She definitely learns sign language and sometimes uses it to talk to you without Reaper butting in

Widowmaker

Widowmaker is extremely hard to scare due to her slow heartbeat

But seeing you scare Reaper makes her smile

She knows sign language from when she was younger so it's easy for her to converse with you

She does like your silence compared to Sombra and Reaper most days

Moira

She's offered to give you a voice but she'll (grudgingly) respect your wishes if you decline

She obviously finds it hilarious when you scare the other Talon members

During battle she'll often follow your path with her eyes since you're quieter than anyone else and she doesn't want to lose you in the fight

Sigma

To him, you're an enigma

He'll always claim that even though you can't speak he hears the most pleasant melody when you're around

Your quietness doesn't affect him for this reason since he'll always hear what he's dubbed "The Y/N melody"

Soldier 76

You can easily scare him half to his second death by sneaking up on him

He's normally pretty alert but your basically silent

He's known sign language a long time but with you he can put that skill to use

Mercy

It's hard to sneak up on her

Her 'mom' senses make it really hard

She does know sign language so she's happy to converse with you like that instead of writing everything out

She offers to try and fix your voice but understands if you decline

Genji

It's hard to sneak up on a ninja but somehow you've done it

You're the only person that can scare Genji now congratulations

He's almost never met someone mute so he'll definitely learn some sign language to understand you

Brigitte

She finds your sneakyness really intriguing

She can't sneak around well due to her armor but if she doesn't have it on she's near silent just like you!

She's eager to learn sign language and she loves how it feels like you two are having a secret conversation

♡ Baptiste: For Baptiste he needs more emotional closeness with his s/o than physical, he’s completely happy to wait until his s/o is ready.

♡ Lucio: Like Baptiste he wants an emotional connection to his s/o. Lucio is fine being in a relationship with no sexual intimacy, though he’d be completely ecstatic if you ever decided that’s something you wanted to do with him.

♡ Reinhardt: He’s a strong believer in chivalry, he wouldn’t dare try to be intimate with his s/o without their complete consent.

♡ Genji: He’d be patient in waiting for his s/o to be ready, Genji needs an emotional bond more than he requires sexual intimacy. There isn’t zero chance he wouldn’t, but more than likely he wouldn’t try anything until his s/o is ready.

♡ It really depends on which Hanzo we’re talking about. Young Hanzo would definitely, he’s brash and ambitious. Being the heir to the Shamada clan, and he’s take it as in insult if you were to do anything less that surrender yourself to him. Older Hanzo has come to peace with his past actions, and after the death of his brother he’s settled down a lot. He’d be willing to wait until you were ready, wanting it to be a meaningful experience for not only him but also his s/o.

♡ Rammatra: This one also depends on what his s/o is, varies based on if they’re an omnic or human. With an omnic s/o he’d see them as an equal, he’d be much more kind and considerate of their wants and feelings. With a human s/o they’d be more of a pet to him, he’d have no issue taking whatever he wanted from them whether or not they were willing.

♡ Junkrat: He isn’t very self aware when it comes to his obsession, he’s almost completely delusional about their relationship. To some extent he realizes you aren’t together, but he doesn’t care to let his thoughts linger on the fact. Jamison little issue with his s/o’s consent, he makes the act about them, he gets his fulfillment from it by giving rather than receiving.

♡ Soldier 76: Both prefall and current Jack would have little issue with it. He’s in a position of power, and you’re not, he’s a super soldier if he wants to he will. He’s learned not to hold onto guilt, so he won’t feel that for what he’s doing.

♡ Cassidy: He’s a very sex driven person, he can go a little while without it but he expects his s/o to give in to him eventually. His drinking is what leads to it most often, and his s/o can expect no aftercare from him once he’s done.

♡ Reaper: He’s a jealous and possessive person, even before the fall of Overwatch he has sadistic tendencies. Gabriel doesn’t need reciprocation from his s/o, not that he would enjoy it, he just doesn’t need it from them. While he’d be more rough in his Talon era it doesn’t mean he’d be much better before Overwatch’s fall.

Soldier 76 :

He kind of put two and two together at first before you came clean and told him but he literally thought you were the coolest guy he stumbled upon.

He often questions your safety but loves to see you on the news, it makes him feel like he isn’t the only guy being watched.

Hates keeping it a secret, he wants to show off the fact he’s dating someone as cool as you.

Freaks out in his head when he sees you in the suit because he knows how good you look.

Sometimes you’d grab him out of his apartment and swing around the city (he fell 10x more in love with you) was terrified but would do it again in a heartbeat.

You actually help him with his raging fear of spiders even if you hate them too.

Has a secret box of pictures of you around town because he finds it embarrassing he explicitly goes out when you’re saving people.

He admires you for being a hero

Will listen to you about your heroic journey for hours wether you’re upset or happy

“I’m.. spider man”

“yeah I know”

“you know?! What do you mean you know?”

“I mean I know.”

Reaper :

He acts like he isn’t amazed when you tell him

Think’s you’re cooler than all of the people he’s worked with

Will test the strength of your webs on many occasions wether that be in bed or just randomly during the day

Part of him wonders if he could recruit you to Talon while the other half of him wants you to stay a hero

Refuses to swing anywhere with you

Doesn’t want to tell anyone you’re spiderman for your safety and the fact he wants to keep you to himself

Wants to watch you in the suit, he thinks you’re more handsome than anyone else.

Junkrat :

He FREAKED out

He screamed and shouted accidentally yelling he was dating spiderman but quickly apologised

Freaks out everytime he sees you on tv or out in the city doing your job

Asks you dorky and mildly inappropriate questions

Keeps it a secret but you can find him randomly sketching spiderman on his notebooks

Everytime he finds a spider he has to call and tell you he’s found one of your siblings

Finds small ways to give you musical items to improve your suit

Makes you exclusive tracks that are only for you when you swing around

Won’t ask but does want you to take him with you

Smiles everytime he sees the suit sticking out of your bag or closet

“I love you, you hero”

Says this ^ everytime he sees you on tv

I just think Mirrorwatch would be more interesting if it was a non-canon story where Lena's chronal accelerator malfunctions and puts them in a different timeline. (Though I hate the idea of multiple universes, timelines, and all that, but again, it's not like it would be canon.)

Obviously, we don't know if there will be a Mirrorwatch comic or anything, but as of right now, it sounds like our favorite characters are just, well, mirrored. There's nothing interesting going on as far as character dynamics go.

Imagine a short comic where Lena finds herself at Watchpoint: Gibraltar, except all her friends are now villains, from the Commander Morrison to even Winston. Talon Winston and Talon Mercy would want to capture Tracer to experiment on them, but Overwatch comes in to save the day. Then, Lena has to work with them (even Widowmaker!) to steal technology from the Talon-ified Watchpoint: Gibraltar that could get her back home.

Then, after the event ends, it's revealed in a second VERY short comic that it was all just a bad dream. Lena wakes up in a panic beside Emily, and Emily comforts her as they both drift back to sleep. The end.

Am I saying all this because I'm salty over the existence of Talon Tracer and the fact that Soldier: 76 and the Reaper guy were seemingly ignored? Well, yeah, that's part of it, but hear me out--

Request : yes , " well, can i request platonic soldier76's reaction, that a newcomer!male!reader, who is kind and sometimes reckless, that is his grandson, and had to look after himself to early, like never got to know his parents nor relatives. To be honest when Jack first saw you he was a bit concerned by your reckless attitude

He really only liked you because their teammates seemed to enjoy your company

He kept his distance though

Jack felt weird about you but he couldn't place his finger on what made him feel off

Y / N asked Winston to run some DNA tests to find his family

Jack hadn't known about it until Winston told him the results

He was taken aback to say the least

You on the other hand really didn't seem to care. You we're really only looking for your parents and siblings if you had any

Jack was at first confused about this whole mess. Was it luck or was it someone playing a trick on him? Trying to makw him go soft?

Seeing Jack was ex - military and his relationship with TALON he felt off and was more distant than before

He avoided you like the plague

After the denial of everything he started to accept very slowly

Acceptance came with anger

'How could anyone do that to a child?' He'd asked Winston and Tracer multiple times

Slowly his anger did end up fading into nothing but loving dad energy

Once Jack finally opened up to you and tried to have a relationship instead of just being a complete bitch and avoiding you and anything to deal with you he promises to protect you with his life

Jack lets you have the childhood you wished you could have had as a older teen / adult

He may be a little bit of a helicopter parent due to your dumbassary but he's trying to just be good enough

Once you do have a stronger bond he's very cheesy when you're alone or around teammates

He'd tease you about anyone you dare look at

Jack would also spoil you rotten

Anything you wanted, he was going to get you

Over all, he grows to love you like a son and supports you through everything
