at risk of revealing myself as having a criminally low cringe constitution I simply will not be able to listen to the current TAZ season. they're playing existing Marvel characters! the guest PCs are Miles Morales and Kate Bishop, both of whom I like enough to have Opinions about their depiction, and I know myself well enough to know I'd spend every episode anxiously eating my own fingernails waiting for a moment of They Would Not Fucking Say That. I'm not proud of being this person but I am who I am. god I wish they just made Marvelsonas.

I finished The Adventure Zone: Outre Space! Short n sweet, fun times, very Hootenanny vibes! So glad Clint got to take another spin in the GM chair, and I always love how enthusiastic he is about comic book lore! Gabe is obviously the perfect Miles Morales and Kate killed it as, well, Kate ahahahaha. Their laughs were infectious! And of course the mcelroy sibling dynamics transcribed perfectly to the babysitter vibes. God I also loved that they were all fully in costume as their characters for the entire thing despite the fact that we saw maybe a total 30 seconds of social media posts with the costumes 😂 Looking forward to TAZ VS Dracula!

+Recently returned from Hel, good for a player with minor knowledge of marvel.

+Collecting the members of a prophecy to protect his sister, Laussa

2. Sebastian Druid aka Dr Druid

+Was once in the running for Sorcerer Supreme

+Just some guy energy

+Was a nanny when he was recruited to protect Balder's baby sister

3. Wonderman aka Simon Williams

+ Vision's brother, former avenger, current pacifist

+Has energy powers and robot strength

+Makes his money as a B list actor and spokesperson

4. Thori

+Thor's Dog, God of Dogs, Dog of Gods

+He's a talking dog who talks mostly of violence

+High odds on him being a PC

5. Spiderman aka Miles Morales

+Go watch Spiderverse

+Probably not going to be a PC but was written with a very Griffin-esque humour in the series

6. Hawkeye aka Kate Bishop

+Hawkeye 2.0

+Started out on the Young Avengers, has no straight friends, currently a PI (at least when this series was set)

+Was very much in charge of the Babysitter's Club. Went onto run the new West Coast Avengers after that (I think)

There once was a sloth, and it was a nimble sloth, unlike any of the other sloths in the Sloth Kingdom. It was swift - it did a lot of cardio. Chin-ups on the branches and running along the river and Zumba. And one Tuesday, around brunch time, the sloth was sitting up high, high in a sycamore tree in the jungle, just spinning its web. Spinning its big old sloth web and catching -- “What do sloths catch?” you may ask. That's right - pineapples. Catching all the pineapples in its big sloth web...for supper, and then the sloth opened up its window - its stained glass window that opened upwards, and looked down at the jungle room floor and all the cobbles, and out of all the fog and the steam, there came galloping a…goose. And the goose clip-clopped up to the tree, barking at all the cats, and the goose yelled up at the sloth, "LOOK AT YOU, SLOTH, SO FULL OF VIM! YOU BRING SHAME ON YOUR PEOPLE!" and with those words, the goose did tunnel away, zig zagging across the desert dunes. But, the words of the goose stuck in the sloth's mind, and with each passing day, the sloth got lazier and slower ‘till it was as slow and as lazy as all the other sloths in the Sloth Kingdom.

One bank holiday, the goose was trotting along a meadow of wheat, corn, and oats - the kind of meadow used for making cheerios -- a cheerios meadow. Just bounding along on all fours and crowing gaily at the moon, "A cockle-doodle-do, a cockle-doodle-do to you," when out of the bracken, swept a crocodile, and he pinned the goose to the ground with his mighty talons, butting him with his horns and pushing him further and further into the lava, and the goose cried out in sonar "Help me!" he cried, “Help me, for I am in peril!" but the sloth, who was in a tire swing down by the bayou, was too slow. He was too slow and too lazy to make it down there in time and the crocodile ate the goose, and the goose died in his belly, and a nearby pig said, “he deserved that,” and then the crocodile drove over and ate the sloth.

And the moral of that story is: Lucas is a cunt.
