one of my favourite things is imagining pining loid. while pining yor is sweet, i much prefer the idea of loid freaking out about being in love. it just makes me so happy. hes a spy, and we know hes had relationships with people in the past for the sake of his missions, so the idea of him falling in love for real and freaking out about it is so sweet. he might be really smooth when hes trying to win over people he needs to use but when it comes to yor, someone hes ACTUALLY in love with, hes an absolute mess. he constantly messes up his words, blushes very easily, gets distracted because he cant take his eyes of her etc etc. meanwhile, poor yor thinks shes done something wrong because loid cant look her in the eyes and its all because loid knows he’ll want to just kiss her if he looks into them. the idea of him accepting his feelings for yor and realising that he wants to be more than just fake husband and wife but actual partners, is so so heartwarming to me.

Or rather, his shadow is. Or perhaps a better way to say it would be that it's what's living in his shadow that's suspicious. Now, if only anyone would believe Four whenever he tries to point that out.

Thoughts: This is a personal favorite of mine. The author did a very good job of showing what it feels like to be reasonably paranoid about something while also keeping it humorous. I love the way that Twilight is depicted in this, and I do have to feel bad for him because he's being terrorized by Four, but it is hilarious.

I had soooo many Twi fics open in my tabs and then my phone thought it’d be cute to reenact the burning of the library of Alexandria a few days ago and close all my ao3 tabs, so all I have left are these two that I can find and remember the titles of- (click the titles for the links)

1. Whistling on Deaf Ears by Crimson Ravioli

Summary: A small dog whistle Wild finds at a merchant's stall quickly becomes his favorite tool to tease his mentor with - Twilight’s reactions to it are too funny to pass up on. And no matter the glares he receives, they both know it’s all just in good fun. It's harmless. Until it isn’t.

2. Deserving by Crimson Ravioli

Summary: Rusl hadn't known the wolf was his son when he'd brandished his torch against it. Twilight needs him to know about the scar it left to finally move past what happened that night. A long overdue talk takes place between a father and a son when the Chain find themselves back in Ordon Village. Colin overhears the worst parts of it.

1. The Midnight Hours (this one does also focus a lot of Time)

Summary: Time didn’t know what to do, nothing was working, no potion or amount of healing magic Hyrule poured into Twilight was making any difference. Time’s worried that Twilight isn’t going to recover, but he has to push his own worries aside to make sure the others are also alright. (A fic about what happens between Sunset part 14 and Dawn part 1)

2. Dog Days

Summary: After a long battle that left everyone injured and exhausted, Twilight can’t stop worrying over Time. Warriors takes Wolfie for a bath to distract him, and the two of them play around a bit in the water on a hot day. (or Wolfie gets a bath and then some hugs because he earned them)

3. 2 A.M. Shenanigans (this one also has a lot of Wars and Sky)

Summary: Twilight had been resting all day and he was starting to get bored. Problem is, Wild is dead asleep on top of him and he can’t move. Warriors and Sky rescue him from where he’s stuck, and the three of them take time to relax and unwind by running around outside in the dead of night.
