Jake Sully is many things: a husband, a father, a leader, a warrior— but most of all, he's a man. He's still just a man weak to pretty girls with pretty eyes and pretty smiles. Just a man who is so very weak when it comes to you. Sometimes, no matter how self-deprecating his thoughts are, shame fills his mind and corrodes his heart when the people proudly call him Toruk Makto, when his wife, his beautiful, beautiful Neytiri, looks at him like he decorated the sky with stars to shine upon the people. He's weak and he knows he doesn't deserve all of it.

The guilt always eats at him, of course it does. He's supposed to be a respectable man, a loyal husband, a good father to guide his children on the path towards Eywa's heart, but when it comes to you, he forgets who he is supposed to be. He loses all inhibitions when you flash him that mesmerizing smile, looking at him like he's on top of everything. 

Yet he can't find it in himself to act upon his urges, at least fully, not when Neytiri's smile reflects your own: beautiful and so full of hope for what may come in the future. It doesn't help that you and Neytiri have become good friends after months of them seeking uturu within the Metkayina clan. You were among the first few people who accepted them wholeheartedly, the Olo'eyktan's younger sister who is as gentle as the waves in the ocean under a calm, soothing breeze.

"Staring off into the distance again, I see." Your voice cuts through the jumbled thoughts in his head, occupying the empty space next to him on the sand like you had occupied his mind.

"Would you rather have me stare at you instead?" Jake tilts his head to the side, a playful smirk sitting upon his lush lips, something he does unconsciously out of habit. Something you've noticed from the many times you've admired him from afar.

You don't say anything, flustered from his straightforward response, but you don't get to bask in the flirty nature of his words when Neytiri's figure comes into view, her long legs striding across the sandy beach with confidence and the allure only she has.

"Neytiri!" You giggle excitedly, moving to sit on your haunches to welcome the beauty in yours and Jake's lonely company of two.

Neytiri returns your eagerness by chuckling, deciding to sit in front of you and her husband. Her hand tucks a stray hair behind your ear before addressing the bright aura illuminating your face. "You seem awfully happy today, syulang."

"Just in a really good mood! Are the kids settling in well?" You ask the couple, eyes not knowing where to look— who to look at. Their demanding presence and piercing gazes make it hard to sit completely still under their watchful eyes. It's like they're looking at you through your skin… like they know what's currently running on your mind… like they know something you don't.

"They're doing great. I just hope the boys would run less into trouble." Jake clicks his tongue to show his disapproval but the way he speaks of them sounds so fatherly, it makes you laugh.

"They take after you, Ma'Jake." Neytiri comments, playfully kicking her husband's leg that somehow made its way in between her crossed legs, ending up in a chaste tangle of limbs.

There's a slight tingle within your belly, a little ache in your chest when you look at them— so domestic and close and in love. And the more you stare, the more the selfish part of you wishes you were with them both, a presence in between them to share their love with. Not wanting to be caught, you quickly avert your eyes somewhere, faraway into the ocean sky.

"I think it's because of Ao'nung constantly riling them up, but I swear, he's a good kid. Sometimes he just can't help but be a skxawng," you smile at them apologetically before continuing, "He's so much like my brother before he became Olo'eyktan."

Neytiri quickly shakes her head, not wanting you to feel guilty for something as shallow as children squabble. Her gentle palm runs along your arm before taking hold of your hand, the feeling so foreign but not unwelcome— something you've always longed for. It makes your heart flutter and for warmth to gush through your lovesick system. The light squeeze you give Neytiri's hand makes her smile at you almost adoringly, and you say almost because how could you assume something like that especially in the presence of her mate? It's mere wishful thinking that she'd return your pining.

Only if you knew how her heart thrums against her ribcage as if it wanted to be laid out and present itself to you. Neytiri had to force herself to let go of your hand because if she didn't, she would forget why you can only be admired from afar. It feels so wrong but so good to indulge in her yearning thoughts of you, let you see glimpses of her deepest feelings through the cracks of her facade.

To her, it doesn't matter if you're aware. As long as she gets to see you, really see you like how she does Jake, it's enough to satiate the constant need of being with you.

And as the water rise and fall along the shore, the sullied thoughts swarming your heads are washed away deep deep into the endless chasm of blue.

“You’re mad if you think I’m going to submit to you”, he scoffed, but Tav held his gaze. 

“Oh I think you will”, she said firmly, “And you will like it.” 

There was a flicker of interest in his eyes in response to that, and it didn’t go unnoticed. But he wasn’t to give in to her yet. Not so easily. 

“You’re a fool”, he huffed out, holding his head up high with pride, but Tav just smirked. When he followed her gaze down between his legs, he saw that his body was beginning to betray him; his cock half-hard between his thighs. Gortash groaned.

“Fuck you”, Gortash grunted out, much to Tav’s amusement. She moved her foot away and pulled at the rope, lifting his body back up to his groans. He was like a doll to her. Tav walked over to tighten the bindings so he wouldn’t flop over, then made her way back to him.

The slap echoed so loudly through the vast halls that she was surprised at how much noise the flat smack against his skin could make. Gortash groaned involuntarily, opening his mouth to breathe, and that’s when she slapped him again. His cheek was burning red, and he moved his jaw stretching out his facial muscles in pain.

“Let’s try this again”, Tav said cheerfully, loosened the rope and watched him topple over to the side. She pushed against his body until he was lying flat on his back, then brought her boot back to his face. 

“Kiss it”, she demanded. There was a hint of a smirk on his lips as he pursed them together, lifting his head so he could press them against the sole. “Now, was that so hard?”, Tav chuckled. 

“You have the Archduke of Baldur’s Gate at your command and you’re playing games… weak”, he muttered, shaking his head. He sounded offended. 

“Wrong”, Tav said flatly, taking off her boots, socks, and trousers until she stood above him in her shirt and panties. “You’re the one who’s weak. Not long until you’ll beg me for more.” She lowered herself down until she was sitting on the backs of her feet next to his shoulders and neck, then brought her core to his mouth, her clit brushing lightly against his nose. Kira Is Near's Watari AU

"Light Yagami is 17 years old when he stumbles on a cursed notebook and begins committing his first unwilling murders.

Nate River is 6 years old when he discovers a bounty of 30 million dollars on the supposedly normal and respectable son of the Chief of the NPA.

These two facts somehow end up in Light Yagami shot in half a dozen places in a dirty warehouse a week later, Near dragging his body out of there, and both simultaneously disappearing into thin air.

Well, at least until six years later, when criminals begin dying in the masses from heart attacks. With a new Death Note user on the loose, Detective Near and his capable butler and caretaker, Kira, are on the case.

With tensions high between them and the NPA, Near and Light will be forced to confront just what happened that week, half a decade ago.

So, I've read Noel Verse (TzviaAriella) and Pale Moon (KaedeRavensdale) on Ao3, watched some Black Butler, among some other fanfic, pinterest fanart, and more media with Butlery themes... and now I've got some serious brain rot.

I mean, like, the aesthetic is amazing. And it's doubly hilarious if L and Watari ever meet Near and Kira in this universe because they're total and complete opposites. Visually wise, at least, with Near's white motif and Light's signature beige suits with a splash of red with his tie, their workspace always very modern and minimal. Then Watari's cloaked in all black with L being... L, surrounded by more of an old money setting. Opposite spectrums of ridiculous. Especially if the task force meets these two detective teams and they'd just be... so incredulous. And the angst of Light and Soichiro reuniting.

Also, just the idea of genius, perfect, most promising student of Japan, Light Yagami, showing back up as a butler/caretaker/spy/hitman working for the mysterious yet infamous Detective Near. Only for that detective to turn out to be a 12 year old kid playing with his toys, who Light seriously treats as his boss without an ounce of irony. Everyone just gets more dumbfounded once said kid starts pulling genius deductions out of thin air and controlling black ops. While Light is sent either on said black ops, or to get a certain toy set for Near. No in between.

I imagine Light would still very much have blood on his hands, willing and unwilling, and would be loyal to Near and unwilling to part with him. Partly out of his own self interests and partly out of a genuine sense of repaying the debt for saving his life. Meanwhile, Near is content to have someone reliable on his side who doesn't underestimate him or treat him any differently for his age, nor intends to use him for another agenda. Whatever Near asks, Light does.

And maybe, just maybe, there would be hints of some other influence. Something ingrained in them, not quite dreams nor memories, that draw the two together. But surely this is the first time they've done all this?

So, about how I see Link Click's Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi relationship:

As it stands in canon? Queerplatonic partners. And it's convenient for the plot that they're like this.

Because of Chinese censorship it can't be explicitly romantic, yes I know it. Let me tell why it's queerplatonic for me. The way these two have intertwined their lives and futures together?!

Owning a business and living together, that hint in ep2 (comparing them to the subtextually older lesbian couple who also came across as queerplatonic bc censure) where Xiaoshi wonders/fears if years down the line he and Lu Guang will separate/break up implying their partnership is for life as far as he's concerned (the parallel can be taken as a subtext romance too but follow me we're talking text), the way they were already going also on vacancies together three years prev in canon, etc...

Without entering on their complimentary powers and the way the dives need both of them if they want security in not screwing the past, and the inmense trust and vulnerability the dives themselves require?

They're not simply best friends either.

Those aren't the actions of normal, totally not queer friends. Cheng Xiaoshi checks out women on the dives, sure, (and men too when the host is feeling it which I love bc they can't address it directly bc censorship and then it comes across as Xiaoshi being super confident in his own relationship to sexuality/gender) but I don't think he would ever date bc Lu Guang is already there, filling that place in his life minus sex and romance but all that same companionship and intensity of feeling.

These two meet in what, the last year/s of High School and then proceeded to latch onto each other with a commitment reserved for romantic partners.

And I know you want to say, "it's the censorship! they'd be romantic and canon if not for the censorship!"

Are you sure? Are you sure the story would work if there were explicit romance in it? (I mean, if they could I'm pretty sure they would have nailed it anyways but allow me my a-spec delusions) Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang feel so much like an already established pair, they work like one, and Link Click is not about them coming together like many other stories. Are you sure this would work as BL?

There's a distinct difference on the way they start the show already like six years at least since they're best friends and three or two since they live together. That's not usually how it goes. I'm talking not just romances but every buddy or nakama anime/show, where the protag has to learn to work with who will be his best friend or rival. These stories usually have the same kind of plot progression as a romance which is why they work so well when you make the subtext text.

But a story where the main romance is already established and we're following a plot that has nothing to do with it? Much more rare, even stranger to find them well done although there are some very good ones and with the friendships instead of romo they're more common. For example, Soul Eater, which is all about the trials of it and how they hace to truly come to understand each other. That's Link Click a bit, but not even then.

Link Click juggling a budding romance between Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi with all the other stuff is going on?? Messier for sure. I don't know if people would have liked it as much or if the donghua would have been as well done.

As it is, Link Click has the exact level of emotional connection between our protags it needs to have incredibly high stakes emotionally and at the same time not need a detour by romantic scenes/fanservice that would derail the plot or the other charas importance. That it happens to be pretty queer anyways in a platonic way?

Btw, I'm pretty sure in season 3 we're going to get more of Lu Guang's PoV, the origins of their powers and the past between him and Xiaoshi. It'll probably dig more into the aspect of "testing their bond and coming stronger bc of it" which is were the romantic subtext usually comes through...

—unless you're very very good at writing like Arakawa in FMA, who nailed the brotherly relationship without tipping into incest subtext which I've seen more than a few writers fumble. or the latest D&D film for the platonic childrearing and partnership for a no familial example between a man and a woman also very very difficult to get right for writers dunno why—

... but until then, for now I'm incredibly satisfied by the canon.

The other read of course it that they're already a couple since well before the start of season 1, and to mentally edit what we saw in canon with that lens (it wouldn't be very difficult honestly) but reading only the text? Queerplatonic partners!

There also how Xiaoshi and Lu Guang don't have that anxiety/insecurity of their bond that makes it so easy to read the want for something, like a romance for shipping purposes. Despite the disagreements on the Dives or the trials of season 2 or Lu Guang keeping secret Cheng Xiaoshi future/past death they read very steady which is fun. I love some good established relationship, you can go to deeper places when the base is already secure and the risk is higher for the characters. Plus I love domesticity! Yes, I do my angsty/Gothic leanings notwithstanding. Don't you know you need a home for the Gothic to be effective?

Hi there! Can I please request separately Nikolai, Fyodor and Sigma x reader (preferably male but gn is fine too!) with the ability to disarm them with ease (and with no fear). Like, the character could be mad or worried about something and our tall boi reader can literally pick them up to shut them up. meanwhile, the characters can't talk. They're in disbelief and shock about the sheer audacity (and reader being strong as hell despite his lack of visible muscle). After a few seconds, reader will ask something along the lines of, 'Cool, are you okay now?' and when the character nods, he just puts them down and gestures for them to continue talking. This is a weird request, I know, I got inspiration from all those aggressive cats who suddenly stop being aggressive and just become confused once picked up XD.

↪so you had no hints of hesitation when you would force him to take care of himself. that wasn't something he was great at doing.

↪fyodor would often spend hours upon hours sat at the very same chair staring at the same screens. very rarely however, he would get extremely annoyed and you would be on the recieving end of that anger sometimes.

↪sometimes thing's wouldn't go to plan or he got mad at his 'insignificant' subordinates and his mood would sour. so when you decided to go talk to him about taking a break for a while, unknowing of his attitude, he couldn't help but lash out at you.

↪and reasonably, you didn't take that. two problems could be solved in the same action - you didn't hesitate to immediately close the gap between you and him before picking him up.

↪you had little fear of his ability, he wouldn't use it on you and he was too confused at the moment to do so. for the first time in ages, fyodor was too stunned to speak. how dare you just pick him up like this.

↪and even when you sat him back down, he was in shock. but in his disbelief he became more preferable to talk to and more willing to finally take a break and rest with you - probably because he knew you would just pick him up again of he disagreed.

↪he hated the fact that you could do that too him. but if it was anyone else they'd be dead on the spot.

↪so abruptly that iy caus nikolai to drop any thought that threatened to spill put of his mouth next. all he could was stare in disbelief at you.

↪but even after he calmed and you put him down, you could tell from taht mischievous glint in his eyes that thos wouldn't be the only time.

Okay, friend, this took me a few days to get around to answering because I needed to sit and listen to the full score (which I have) without distractions (not an easy feat for me).

"When Will My Life Begin" and "I See the Light" are the primary song callback themes (with "When Will My Life Begin" being the absolute most prevalent), and if you know what to listen for, you can hear them everywhere. The thing with these themes is that they aren't always an identical tune. There maybe be cadence differences or key shifts, or any number of little alterations that makes it not identical to the song music, but similar enough that you can hear it there. I hesitate to call them leitmotifs, because I don't know enough about music to be sure I'm being 100% accurate in calling them that, because the musical themes aren't always associated with a specific character/situation, but often are. (For example "When Will My Life Begin" is clearly Rapunzel's theme, and the use of it in score is often when she's talking about the lanterns or her dreams or being free. In that respect, I would mostly confidently call it a leitmotif for her, and in listening carefully to the full score, I've found a few more that are not associate with the songs, so thank you for that!)

So here's what I've clocked (I'm using the official track titles, I hope they're self-explanatory):

Prologue: "When Will My Life Begin" (more than once), "Healing Incantation" (not just when it's being sung, it's used as segue music, as well)

Oh yeah, NSH Time.

I've been holding this post back for like a week😅

I absolutely love how NSH came out and I think he's currently my favourite rain world model that I've done! (Sorry Pebbles, I'm going to upgrade you later anyway :]

I also made his scarf easily removable so you can see how the stripes aren't just on his head! The stripes and his irises also glow, but a bit brighter than the areas on Five Rotten Pebbles.

His antennae are pretty similar to how I did Sliver's, especially considering I did his first! XD They're separated from his head a bit.

Also if you've noticed in my art that his eyes are the exact same as in the model here, that's because they are! I tried finding a way to draw them how I usually might, but I just couldn't get the same vibe! So I said, "Fuck it!" and I've been drawing over his model ever since XD

NSH is also who I used to make the "umbilical arm" model! So if you saw those posts, that's why the textures are all messed up!

And here it is in all it's glory!

It's mostly made of ball joints with a flexible joint attached to the back. The last segment also twists just like your forearm bones!

*slaps top of can* This bad boy can fit so much fucking insanity in him. (cw: self-harm yeah you heard me)

If you haven't figured it out already (I did drop hints :) NSH's structure is damaged! His legs are giving out because a group of scavengers thought it would be funny to transport all of their explosives at once.

So he's in a bit of a pickle!

This is when Looks to the Moon and Five Pebbles' communication tower is repaired! During their first conversation in a very long time, NSH finds out about good ol' Hunter long legs, and is rightfully distraught! He feels like a total failure, that he wasn't experienced enough to properly create his messenger.

That's what this whole post was about!

But, experience is something that can be gained.

NSH figured if Five Pebbles was able to leave his can, then he should be able to as well, but that requires solving the three problems I mentioned in the Five Rotten Pebbles post:

The self-genome modification barrier,

A general lack of puppet central brain matter, and

No material processing within the puppet.

I'll talk about my umbilical lore for this AU here since it's relevant.

Either the "cord" or the "arm" can be disconnected, but not both. This is for ease of repair by administrators. Disconnecting them both would leave the unfortunate Iterator fully functional. Although, they would be blind in the visible spectrum (apart from overseers), unable to speak directly to someone in their chamber, and would otherwise have their workflow be severely impaired. They would effectively be trapped in their own head.

NSH realised that even if the barriers existed, they could still have the intentions, to break them. So what would happen, if he broke one? Not by writing it out of his system, Five Pebbles already proved how risky that method was, but instead by setting his actions in motion faster than any barrier could stop them? This was something to test, and wasn't that what Iterators were built to do anyway?

Umbilicals can only be disconnected by administrators, but what if he were to do it anyway? He needed to leave his can after all, it wouldn't be much of a loss if he was stuck on the floor of his chamber or floating aimlessly in zero gravity for a while.....

So what if he just ran fast enough to rip himself off?

What if he moved his arm back at the last second, could he gain enough inertia to pull it out of his back? Even if it took a few tries?

What other choices does he have? Perfect Five Pebbles' method until he collapses and continue even then? He had time, but not enough for that, and The Hunter certainly did not have any time for waiting around. NSH had to fix his mistake, he had to.

So this bastard goes and does exactly that, and short-circuits his entire system.

Not just breaking the umbilical maintenance barrier, but every other one in the process.

And it all hurts like hell.

But that's the first problem solved, and now he can help keep himself afloat longer. So that now, he can figure out how to solve the other two problems with precision.

Of course, the others won't like any of these plans, but, after what Five Pebbles did, they wouldn't dare disturb him if he stopped responding, right?

And maybe, he could even hijack their communications array, to look for help.

What if Luka expects Hyuna to come like she did in his round with Mizi and he is plotting something.He has the trust of aliens,the love of the public and no one would suspect him to do something outside the box,far from the image he created of himself.Hyuna made her appearence in round 5 when we didn't expected it. If the round isn't entirely dedicated to Ivan and Till,this may be an option.He may confront Mizi and Hyuna,they may not be able to rescue Ivan and Till and not make it in time. Luka may not appear at all.

Ok this is the worst joke I could ever make.

Oohh. Luka appearing in ROUND 6 would honestly be insane. I thought about him making an appearance in the short teaser scene before credits, but if he actually confronted anyone himself that would be so interesting. Imagine all 6 of them in the same episode... the same room... no way... the Alien Stage would be real...

Luka attempting to sabotage Mizi and Hyuna is such an intriguing concept. I do think he's figured out that Hyuna will be returning, he grew up with her, after all. He's most likely aware of her penchant for protecting people. He probably expects Mizi to come back for the only friends she has left, too. He couldn't do anything the first time he saw Hyuna after ROUND 5, but he might be more eager to get his hands on her now. If we get our first adult Hyuna and Luka interaction during ROUND 6 I'd actually go insane. as much as I hope for it though, I'm not sure whether or not it will actually happen. ROUND 6 already has a lot going for it. A final confession of love already makes for a heavy episode, but with Till's newly revealed backstory added to the mix? Mizi and Hyuna's attempt at a jailbreak? The whole video would probably need an entire week to be processed and even comprehended, especially if they want to go into extensive detail on each aspect. Still, though, if Luka interfered... if Mizi and Hyuna were unable to save anyone and had to defeatedly return to the rebellion base carrying the weight of their failure, well, I DON'T THINK I'D BE REACHABLE FOR AT LEAST 10 BUSINESS DAYS I'd have to go into hiding in order to cope with that. But who knows! The fun part about VIVINOS videos is that they're always gonna leave you fucked up in one way or another!

You know how dsmp Foolish was only a devout follower of XD because he thought he could replace him? Because I didn’t. I just knew about him working for the federation in order to rise through the ranks and “own the fish store.” And replace cururucho.

I'm a decent chunk less knowledgable on c!foolish than I am qfoosh but if this is true its yet another fascinating similarity between the two of them, id love to see some clips if you have any! Reading through cfoolish analysis and rewatching older vods and clips im struck with a strong sense of familiarity with the more recent qfoolish, and with the scattered lore hints between them lining up so well it creates an almost uncanny sense of continuity.

Whether they're completely separate characters or not i feel that these two characters have the same core. They still undoubtedly have their differences but they almost feel like different spins on the same concept, or an initial concept further developed and refined which only makes it so much more interesting to dissect where they diverge, and then despite their unique situations and histories where they overlap. Does every iteration of foolish make the same decisions and subsequent mistakes? does he hunt for power? does he love? will he always be alone? The ways in which their individual worlds and storylines have shaped them, or on a more meta level what kind of story did ccfoolish himself want to tell. I think it's pretty cool to think about at least

Weeeee! Finally, another fic is out! I really appreciate all the support you've given me recently, and thank you, anon, for this request! These two are such a mismatched pair. Their dynamic is so fun! XD

Summary: After Shotos' attempt at potato chopping goes wrong, he's forced to deal with an angry Chef Bakugo his own special way.

"Damn it, Icey-Hot! How are you so bad at this!?" A certain explosive blonde snarled as he looked at the miss-shapen potatoes that Todoroki had been peeling for the classes dinner.

The bowl of oddly cut spuds made Bakugo want to cry or hurt someone. Or both. They were supposed to be sliced into thin circles to make chips. Instead, they were odd bolder shapes. He angrily moved Todoroki away from the counter, taking the knife from his hand.

"What's wrong with them?" The raspberry ripple hero asked, tilting his head as he was placed by the door.

"What's wrong with you!? These potatoes are less straight than Deku!"

"Heeeey!" Dekus little voice grumbled from the lounge.

"SHUT IT! Anyway, they won't cook properly if they aren't thin enough. And they're cook unevenly too. Uuugh... Now I gotta get a new bag of them and do it myself and-" Bakugo grumbled on, swearing and fussing under his breath as he stomped around the kitchen, finding an unopened pack of fresh potatoes.

Shoto blinked as he watched Bakugo angrily start cutting up their dinner with his back to him. His flighty little mind thinking over the situation. Angry Bakugo is never nice to deal with. Maybe there's a way he could cheer him up?

Maybe that would work? It always helped brighten Dekus mood.

He smiled, approaching Bakugo quietly as he continued to grumble.

"I'm stuffing you in a box and shipping you all the way to the UK so Ramsey can train you u-HUP!" Bakugo jolted, arching his back away from a sudden tickly sensation. He turned quickly, glaring at Shoto, who stood with two, pokey index fingers, poised and ready.

"What are you doing?" Bakugo asked, setting the knife on the counter. Maybe the airhead just wanted some attention?

"I'm making you happy again. Or the food will taste bad." Shoto said plainly, his expression soft. Still pretty vacant as usual, but with a hint of a smile.

"The food will taste bad if I'm not happy?"

"Yes."

"First of all, my food always tastes awesome. And second of all, I don'tneed to be made happy. I'm fine."

".... You're lying."

"I am not! You just- hey, HEY! Back off!" Bakugo stammered as Todoroki casually reached for Bakugos sides, squeezing ever so lightly.

The light touch already had Bakugo biting back a smile as he tried to lean away from Shotos teasing fingers. His back met the counter, unable to shimmy any further. Shoto used that opportunity to attack!

"Got you." He smiled, suddenly shifting his hands up to Bakugos' worst spot. Below the underarms above the ribs. When it comes to Bakugo, you have to strike hard and fast, or face the consequences!

"GYAHA! N-No! I-Icehey-hyAHAAAA!" The blonde crumbled, his arms immediately clamping to his sides as he leaned against the counter, sliding down the surface and plopping onto the kitchen tiles with Shotos tickling fingers following.

"GEHEet offa meeeEHEHE! AHA! SHIHIT!"

"I do this to Midoria when he's sad too. It seems to have the same effect on you. I'm glad."

Shoto hummed, using very little effort to make Bakugo squirm under his touch. It was just so easy!

He drummed his fingers up and down Bakugos sides, causing the boy to curl in on himself, trapped between Shoto and the kitchen counter.

"Damn ihit! StAAHA! I-I'm n-nAHA! NOT SAD!" Bakugo howled as he made helpless attempts at grabbing Shotos hands. Nothing worked! Every time he thought he had a wrist gripped, Shoto managed to just slip out and tickle him again

"StahaAHAHAP! Y-You- I-IhIHI'M not making you DINNER!"

Shotos hands stilled. What? No dinner? But, Bakugo always helps with dinner! This won't do. No. Not at all!

"No dinner?... Well. What if I keep tickling you until you agree to cook?" Bakugo shot him a glare. How dare he threaten him like that!

"You wouldn't..." A silence fell between the two, staring at each other, a smirk growing on Shotos face.

"Hey... Icey-hot... OI! Don't just stare like that! I'll kiHIHIII! AHAHA! STAHAHAP! Fuhuck!"

"You know very well the rest of us can't cook. You're our only hope." Todoroki deadpanned as he spidered over Bakugos tummy, switching between different tickle spots to keep him overwhelmed and unable to escape.

The fact that Shoto was so calm and expressionless made the situation ten times worse for Bakugo. He couldn't read the situation properly. It was awful! Not that Bakugo could really see much with his eyes scrunched shut, forcing tears of mirth down his cheeks.

He wasn't giving up though!

"I-I'll nEHE-! NEVER! Never CAHAHA! CooHOHOOK! AGAHAHAIN! GahaHYAHA!"

Shoto smirked briefly, deciding to take things up a notch. He stuffed his hands up Bakugos shirt, using his Quirk to make one set of fingers warm, and the others awfully cold. A cruel and conflicting method.

A shriek left Bakugos' mouth as he felt the icey cold didgets pressed against his bare ribs, sending a shock wave up his spine.

"FFFAHAHACK! Noho! NahahaAHAAA!" He flailed, arching his back as he twisted and turned this way and that to try avoid the relentless, freezing, fingers!

Every time he leaned from the icey coldness, he was reminded that the warm hand was still there, attacking his worst spot whilst the cold fingers switched to another when he was distracted. There was no escape. Maybe he'd have to surrender?

"SHIHIT! N-NooOOHO! Ah! HAHA! IHICEY- SHIII-!" The blonde's laughter fell silent as Shoto latched onto his worst spot again, upper ribs, below armpits. He was going to make sure Bakugo never threatened to leave them hungry again!

"Hmm, Midoria also reacts when I say tickle. Does it affect you, too? Tickle, tickle." Shoto smiled, repeating the word in his near monotone voice, making poor Bakugis face light up like a Christmas tree! A pretty crimson red.

"S-ShuHUT- AAAAHHHH-!.... UWAH! F-FuhuHAHAK!" Again, his laughter went quiet before he gasped for air. His head threw back, mouth agape as the endless stream of laughter flooded forth.

"Is someone dying in here?"

All the commotion had gained the attention of the rest of class 1-A. A curious Sero peered around the island counter, spotting Bakugos flailing legs sticking out from behind. One of his slippers had been thrown as he kicked and squirmed.

The rest of the class stood in the doorway, grinning from ear to ear at the sight.

"I think he's had enough, Roki." Sero continued, chuckling as he watched Bakugo make another desperate attempt at grabbing his attackers hands.

Shoto stilled his hands, giving Bakugo the chance to finally catch his breath, as he looked up at Sero innocently.

"Bakugo said he wouldn't make us dinner." He explained. Missing out the part where it was partly his own fault.

"Ooooh..." Sero nodded in understanding. He looked at the dishevelled Bakugo on the floor tiles, smirking as he made an attempt at glaring. It wasn't very convincing through that veil of happy tears and rosy cheeks.

"Well," the tape weirder shrugged. "We can't have that now, can we?" He shot Bakugo a cheeky smirk. "As you were, Roki. Call if you need any assistance." He chuckled.

"W-Wait! Hey! Soy sauce face! That's not your decision to mAHAHAKE! NAAAHAHAAA-!"

"Let us know when dinners ready, kay?" Sero called back with a wave as he left with the rest of the class. Condemning Bakugo to his tickly doom!

Shoto looked at Bakugo, casually continuing to tickle him all over.

"I want Soba."

"S-Stuff your damn SOHOBA! DAHAHAHMN IT!"

No need to apologize, but I'm going to cheat a little.

How they act and react would depend on things with their s/o at least a little, but I do see both of them as tops and doms more than bottoms and subs - and because of the confidence factor they both tend to have, I'd see them being more apt to take the lead.

Now, an experienced/cheeky s/o might get the jump on either one, but they're not going to stay in control unless they're really willing to fight for it xD

But! have some First Kiss moments from A Light Touch and Unseen, my eustass kid x reader and killer x reader respectively.

A Light Touch:

You swallow as your eyes focus on his lips for a moment before looking into his eyes. "Gotta be, if I'm gonna be your Mouse." You're sure your face is bright red but seeing Kid's eyes go wide makes the embarrassment worth it. "Fuckin' hells, Mouse." Eustass swears as his prosthetic slips into your hair, and he pulls you into a kiss. The taste of lipstick gives way to the scent of the workshop – the smells of Eustass Kid - wood, metal and heat. He leans back, just enough to break the kiss, and you wrap your arms around his neck, your fingers going into his hair. You pull him toward you, and he complies, leaning back down into another kiss. He pulls you in closer than before, and you're held against a body that feels more like rock than flesh. There's a tug at your hair that causes you to gasp, and Kid pushes into your mouth without hesitation, his hot tongue causing your breath to catch as he controls the kiss and embrace roughly. It sends a rush through your chest and a soft moan slips into your mouth, causing the corners of his lips to pull into a grin. "That's a nice sound, Mouse," He says, his voice smoother than you've heard before now. "Make me make more, Kid." You demand, this first kiss making you needy.

And Unseen:

He leans in and you feel the barest hint of his lips against yours before he whispers your name, soft and sweet like silk and honeysuckle. The space between you vanishes. His lips press against yours and your breath stops in your throat. You push against him almost involuntarily, and your fingers wander. His hands flex against your body as he sets you against the wall. Breaking the kiss for a moment, your already needy gasps mingling in the small space between, you wrap your legs around his waist. "I don't want to sound ungrateful," you whisper, your voice nearly falling apart as it leaves your lips, "But I hope you mean to kiss me more than that." With your back braced against the wall, he only needs one hand to keep you steady. His other hand slips around to the back of your neck, tangling his fingers in your hair. He leans into the kiss again, but this time his tongue presses against your lips. With a shiver at the delicious sensation of it you open up and let him in. Kid might have commanded obedience with fire and charisma, but Killer had his blade at your neck before you could even hoped to be commanded. His kiss was just as absolute, it was almost overwhelming, and you could feel the rush welling up in your eyes. The heat and passion of the inescapable embrace he has you in threatens to consume you and it wasn't until he broke off the kiss that you realize you'd almost been out of air. You gasp and tremble against him, holding on as though you'd be plunged back into the depths if you let go. You could feel his breath against your neck, hot and heavy as your own. He nuzzles into your neck and kisses gently along the crook of it. Each tender action eliciting a stifled moan from you.

Not-a-tutorial - Dialogues: Part II

Part 2 of the not-tutorial about how Noctie does dialogues!

Some of you know this already, but I do the shooting part first, then write the dialogues to go with the pictures that I got. It works best for me that way. I always always ask myself: what does the character want to convey here? What is the essential message? Answering that question helps me stripping out all the redundancies and unnecessary bits that would bog down my meaning. Also, I tend to find that short bits of dialogue going back and forth between characters make for a more realistic and dynamic conversation.

Talking about realism, I like showing small hesitations in a character's speech. We don't always speak in one breath. We pause, we stammer, we look for the right words,... So I choose carefully where to split my lines, in order to make them as meaningful as possible and to have the most impact on the reader (hopefully).

I use ellipsis (the three dots) to relay "visible silence". That is, when it is important to show that a character could talk but is very definitely not talking (either because they're holding back, or because they have too many thoughts at once, or the words don't come out, etc etc). I overuse those three dots, I just love meaningful silences.

I don't use any bubble at all for silences that are real silences (ie, the character is taken aback or is simply keeping quiet). It's more dramaaaaaatic that way!

Characters should ideally speak with different voices, but I know that's difficult to achieve. Besides some obvious extremes (I try not making my more cerebral characters speak the same way as the tougher, street-wise characters for example), I don't think I can get it right myself, mostly because English is not my native language and I don't master it well enough to be able to imitate a variety of accents and registers. So I try using other ways to individualize a character's way of talking, like speech mannerism or favorite expressions.

Erik's favorite swearword is very clearly "Goddammit". xD

Romeo uses Italian when he's frustrated (mostly interjections) or when he wants to make a point.

There are other easy ways to make a character's voice distinctive. Some will be quicker to crack a joke and others will have a stammer. Some will always be sulky, others will be particularly rude or polite. Their identity should somehow show through their way of speaking and addressing people.

Even if a graphic novel is very static, the way characters position themselves can say a lot about them too. The poses I select for each character can give an attentive reader some hints about their personality.

Again, I don't want to labor the point uselessly as everyone surely knows how to read a comic and I'm really not saying my way is the right way because it's not. I struggle a lot and I change my mind and try different things and there are a million things that I just don't do right. This speech bubble sort-of-guide is probably way too specific to be useful to anyone, and again, I don't believe I have enough expertise to pretend I know what I'm doing. I just really like the topic so consider it a ramble!

My quick personal thought on Noe in VNC manga latest chapter 61.5

I do NOT think Noe "pretended" to not notice the racism towards Dham in the office because he didn't "want" to accept the harsh reality that his "good" fellows are being bad / racists. It didn't happen...yet, at least.

I'm rather sure Noe simply, sincerely had NO "concept" of the racism ITSELF towards Dham AT ALL. "They probably still don't know their individual name each" was the ONLY and "best" guess Noe could ever make ON HIS OWN, within HIS (extremely limited) "common sense".

Noe does NOT realize the word Dham was being used like a slur purposefully in THEIR context, because Noe believes it's "by definition" not inherently an offensive term. They're Dhams, it's who they are, what's the problem? Vani is a human, so there's nothing wrong to call him human, cuz it's what he is, isn't it? But yeah, it's weird to keep calling all of them as just Dham when they all have their own name, let's fix it now!

Well, Noe does not have the same view / experience as other characters, much less we audience. He tends to listen well, but he's not always good at catching the hints / full context quickly. Of course, Noe hated to be called only "vampire" on and on by Vani in the previous arc, but Vani was clearly super hostile and seriously fighting Noe to death at that time, while this is happening "in peace", so Noe couldn't possibly imagine the people were hostile, "too", just in a different or "softer" form, perhaps? Or Noe failed to notice it because it's not directly about Vani lol

I get that it's very tempting to call Noe "stupid / annoying" etc for not noticing the "obvious" malice. But it's NOT obvious to him, unfortunately; he's plain ignorant and oblivious for real, because he literally has had NO chance to learn until now. He can't magically know what he doesn't know. He isn't even a genius character. This is the first time Noe witnessed the subtle and explicit racism, and honestly...I highly doubt if even now he truly understands that he watched people being openly bigoted and that it's never from their "innocent ignorance" as he first believed. Sadly, it indeed doesn't help that those people are the ones who Noe does NOT see as an enemy.

Noe never heard of Ruthven, who "can't" be unknown to anyone. Noe genuinely believed everyone else (Vani & Domi) was lost, when it's actually him alone who was lost. This is the Noe we're talking about!

Shapeless One didn't teach Noe anything about Dham and the prevailing racism (which is surely suspicious and irresponsible). It seems he at least didn't tell Noe that Dham should be oppressed / hated, and thankfully Noe has grown up not to discriminate people merely for race. Since he arrived in Paris, Vani has never bothered Dante and others for being Dham in front of Noe, either. But yeah, now Noe should get to know more and face the unjust reality that the Dham has to deal with.

"Noe should've known better because, Archiviste!!" I feel he believes that it's NOT the same and mostly the matter of the "rightfully creepy" (he thinks) "ability" of the memory-reading (for now, at least). When you think about it...no VNC character has negatively reacted to Noe for being Archiviste so far (and like, most of them barely know in detail or get interested a little) - except Vani XD and we all know Vani currently doesn't care, as long as Noe doesn't try to drink his blood. Astolfo hated Noe, but it's because he equally hates any "vampire".

However, in regards to Dham, people are loudly making "the existence ITSELF" a huge problem, including their mere "appearance" difference. People "discuss" their "right to exist", which is similar to Jeanne, Bourreau, the slaves. Yeah, I suppose Noe has been kinda "lucky" not to be the target of discrimination...until now. I won't be surprised if Noe still doesn't understand what makes Dham "deserve" all the disgust when they don't even have any "disgusting" ability "like his". I'd like to also add that...Noe might've been safe solely thanks to his (problematic) "guardian" Shapeless One, the (in)famous & powerful vampire that no one can casually ignore, similar to Ruthven ^^;;

In short, I think Noe did NOT "forcedly" "choose" to "ignore" the racism and try to make an "excuse" for his "cannot-be-racist" fellows "instead"; how can he "choose" to believe "otherwise", when he doesn't even notice the deep racism "specifically" towards Dham in the first place? Though I can agree that it'd be hard for Noe to properly process what's going on in the office because he unconsciously believes the fellows he trusts wouldn't be "weird" or "malicious" to other fellows "for an unreasonable reason".
