sick and tired of ppl saying panic went to shit after ryan and jon left like yes it downgraded (compared to afycso my fave album from them) B U T ian (even tho he was only there for a few years) and dallon (who stayed on til 2017 oh how he put up with a lot of bs over the years) rlly kept it from tanking in those key years imo

like dallon is credited w writing most of v&v (with the exception of "nearly witches" - ryan wrote that) and all of twtltytd (is that even the album name idk i dont rlly listen to post ryan panic sorry not sorry) and he played bass not only for the end of pretty odd touring but also as part of the band til 2015 and then continued touring til 2017 (plus apparently brendon stopped him from releasing a song w 21 pilots which is actually why im writing this lmfao) like

dallons writing was on a similar level to ryans and it feels mean/unfair to reduce those albums that he did write to "shit" bc ryan wasnt there

and yes doab has a couple of bops (crazy = genius and also la devotee imo) but overall they dont cancel out what is mostly a shit album (ok yes dont threaten me w a good time is okay too but he did NOT make those high heels work good lord) esp cause there were literally none of the ogs except brendon on that)

and ofc pftw is ass if i ever hear high hopes or hey look ma i made it i actively try and leave wherever i am (they fucking played high hopes at a skate night i went to WHEN I WAS COSPLAYING RYAN ROSE VEST)

also side note fuck u brendon for continuing to play camisado after ryan left even tho it was like the one song he asked you to stop performing it cause it was rlly personal to him AND YOU DIDNT LISTEN (ofc all the songs were personal to him but camisado was one of the ones that he specifically drew on his experiences w/ his father to write)

also side note 2 imo panic died when spencer left (2013) but was temporarily revived til dallon left (2017) and brendons been dragging its corpse around for the last 6 years. and idc what anyone says the touring artists he played with do not count as panic cause no offence but like their title says theyre TOURING ARTISTS (like how dallon didnt consider himself a part of panic when he was touring w em til they asked him officially and then when he "stopped contributing creatively" - his words) like i rlly doubt ppl can name them off the top of their heads (altho theyre underappreciated for dealing w brendon)

I don’t know about you, but, for me, DCOMs and One Direction are so wonderfully nostalgic; they remind me of, like, youth and high school and all that comes with it. first, that middle school to highschool room edit - id say its pretty canon! jay didn't have close close friends in middle school, which explains why he was alone in the room. he then met neo and aurelio when starting highschool, and they became the trio™️. then ofc entering college, the group expanded as they met leon and santino! and thats the origin of the verthu crew! its also worth mentioning that leon and neo are now dating!

for personality, u can just see jay as my self-insert ahaha jk...unless? 🫡 HAHAH no but tbh i rlly put a lot of me into creating jay, especially aesthetics/fashion sense/etc. id like to imagine jay to be a bit introvert, but he can be very fun around the right people. neo and leon are the clowns of the group bc they are just funny like that. aurelio is the mom-friend: calm, caring, and gentle. santino gives fuckboy vibes unfortunately, but i swear hes nice 😃

now may (viet name is mây which is cloud!), my most recent oc! definitely the silly older sister like you said AHAH i think they have great chemistry, and pretty much ur comedian siblings in general. i am considering to make may a tattoo artist, maybe also doing some modeling gigs on the side!

ever since my ts3 days, ive always been using sims as some sort of a creative outlet so my sims are literally just pixel dolls in an expensive dress up game tbh 😭 i put lots of creativity into my edits so when it comes to like developing them as ocs, my mind just goes blank 🫥 jay is like my ultimate muse so he pretty much dominates my blog here, but theres more of the other boys on my gameplay blog (@migisyte)! i love seeing them with in-game animations bc its just so fun and cute AHAH and it also helps me slowly flesh out their backgrounds too!

Such A Big Deal 2 Me, it can be hard to find things i feel compare to thee og wave outtuv kingston, however libyan reggae is coming up a hard second place. this features on one ov thee iconic “Habibi Funk” compilations released by thee label ov thee same title. they focus on arabic speaking countries, you can find their bandcamp here. [DIVINE — LOVE REACTION] — so i heard this on a comp called “twelves inches of pleasure” i think it was vol. ii which included some tracks produced by my man patrick cowley. i’d heard love reaction before but this particular mix is combined & beat mixed with “blue monday” by new order which is NOTHING short ov GENIUS i was so amazed by it. it’s on thee playlist i listen to thee most which is basically just gay club music. huge fan ov divine and all she does and she just sounds utterly sinister with gillian & stephen’s synths underneath her prowling voice. adore it, adore it.

[JOHN CALE — EVERYTIME THE DOG BARKS] — so most reviews n i think most musical historians will tell you that john cale’s 80s work is unremarkable if not downright awful. i don’t think that’s true, with thee exception ov carribean sunset [which is truly offensive to thee conscious n should not be counted], they’re fairly good at worst average all thee way up to veering on some ov his best work. this track is thee first off his record ‘artificial intelligence’ which most people regard [seemingly?] as his best ov thee 80s. now that’s flagrantly ridiculous bcoz ‘music for a new society’ came out in thee 80s but i suppose ‘artificial intelligence’ isn’t as soul crushingly depressive. i love thee guitar work on this track, john’s delivery is exciting & thee electronics keep your nerves on a particularly seedy edge. i love john cale so much.

[JOEL VANDBROOGENBROECK — NIGHT CITY] — iv mentioned this a few times so i figure i should talk about it a little bit. so joel vandroogenbroeck is a prominent name in thee library music genre, which i have mentioned a little bit here and there. library music is a work for fire type genre where musicians make music on demand for television or movie companies, so it will have sortuv ‘default’ type settings to it to thee listener’s ear cuz odds are you’ve heard Plenty ov these tracks before and just didn’t know it. since thee advent ov beat making & hip hop production, library music very much found a new home. now being transformed into samples and thee foundations for beats, it lives again !!! one such track [gerhard trede’s “B11” from “electronic fields,” 27:00] is sampled predominantly in kid cudi’s “distant fantasies.” just to provide an example :] <3 as well as i would like to say that library music is quite different from ambient music and it is quiet different from muzak as well ! as thee #1 ambient defender i would like to say that….

I simp over a lot of fictional characters and do self ship myself with them, which is primarily found on my other account. Im also a huge monster/non-human lover and my taste is very strange indeed

I do wanna make it clear that self shipping and selfcest ARE NOT the same thing. Selfcest is iffy to me and I personally don’t like it so you won’t see any of that here. However I suppose I don’t mind if people do?? Take this with a grain of salt though because it’s something that’s just confusing/weird to me and I would rather not go into a whole debate about whether or not it’s right.

I love horror stuff mainly and did in fact grow up with some gorey horror movies and I do appreciate a great psychological horror

I also have an interest in psychology, art (obviously), reading/writing, and science!! I also have an interest in baking and I’m starting to get into that hobby

I’m into so many fandoms to the point where I can’t list them so if your curious on what fandoms I am in, just ask or even look through my accounts to see. I am also in some dead fandoms, even if ofc, the fandom isn’t relevant I still am! Sometimes my fixations never die and just go into hiding you know? That is ofc, unless I do specifically I am not longer in that fandom (such as Danganronpa or BNHA). Would I possibly post some stuff about them? Maybe but don’t get your hopes up because there are reasons I’m no longer in the fanbase.

I love making redesigns and being creative because creativity is my strive!! Though do keep in mind that me making redesigns ≠ to me hating them.

Now obviously I do have Do Not Interacts, which is the basics: racism, antisemitism, zooph*les, anti-lgbt, proshitters, aro-ace exclusives, etc. etc. I shouldn’t have to say this but I do.

Another dni to note is to not try to defend problematic things in certain media (ex. the racist og designs of Yogurt Cream Cookie/Lilac Cookie and racist stereotype of Purple Yam Cookie) and instead criticize and acknowledge it. It’s also completely understandable to just not be comfortable with it at all, I myself got very uncomfortable with it. However I’ll make sure to be aware when posting content related to Cookie Run.

Aaw, thank you for telling me the story of how you got into 10cc! I've had a similar experience (the "oops guess I have developed a crush now I'm obsessed-bit). That's lovely how they have given you a new perspective. I'm gonna try to remember to listen to that album in full at some point soon!

I'm generally into '60s-'70s rock, but Beatles are definitely in the top! I also really love Led Zeppelin - they were on my radar for a long time (especially since I watched That '70s Show already in my teens and they come up a lot there), but didn't really start listening until a few years ago and fell in love. As I'm typing I'm listening to London Grammar. I seldom get into contemporary music on a deeper level, but I randomly came across them a few summers ago, started having them on in the background while I was writing, and before I knew it they were on my regular playlists. They're really good for when you're a bit down of melancholy, and want something to resonate with you.

In the spirit of the season, do you have a favourite Christmas song?

Ofc!! and i hope you end up listening to Deceptive Bends, it would make me very happy!! trust me it won’t disappoint ☺️ i wanna get more people into 10cc because they’re SEVERELY underrated. i also recommend listening to their first 4 albums: their first album self-titled “10cc”, Sheet Music, The Original Soundtrack and How Dare You? I think you’ll really appreciate their sound and just how unique each of them are as artists. I think they may be the only band (that I know of anyway) where each member has a vocal part in every song. I’ve learned to distinguish each band member’s voice just from listening to those first 4 albums lol as a group, i really think they have a distinct sound. Sadly, they only made 4 albums as a group but the music they made after their split is just as fantastic. A little background on post-og 10cc, Eric and Graham carried on as 10cc and made more music under the 10cc name while the other two songwriters Kevin and Lol went on to make music under the name Godley & Creme (check out Godley & Creme’s music as well if you’re interested! a little bit on the avant garde side but still a very interesting duo to listen to). i think both songwriting teams were just as successful if not achieved more success despite the breakup but in my opinion, i don’t think they ever got over the breakup and deep down, i know they wanted to get back together badly (trust me they tried) but i think they were just afraid that things would go awry again if they ever did get back together :(( but, i’m still manifesting that someday soon they will surprise the world with a reunion tour, and if that ever happens you best believe i will be at some of their shows front and centre!

glad to hear you like The Beatles as well 😊 i’ve been a huge Beatle nut for years, and i consider them my gateway into classic rock. OMG funny that you mention Led Zeppelin bc they’re another group I’ve been following for as long as I’ve been a Beatles fan! I’ve been listening to Zeppelin off and on for years and I know this is gonna sound silly but, i only get back into them bc of a band member lmao i started out liking Zeppelin bc of Jimmy Page and then i fell off the bandwagon for a while until i fell in love with Robert Plant lmao. not long after, i fell off the bandwagon AGAIN and it wasn’t until maybe a few years ago that i got into them again bc of John Bonham but then i forgot about them for another few years until JUST LAST WEEK when i stumbled upon a TV interview featuring Led Zeppelin’s MVP and in my opinion, their most drop dead gorgeous member, the beautiful John Paul Jones 😍 honestly, he might be the reason that i stay obsessed with Zeppelin and i’m happy to share that he’s the ONLY person who has finally convinced me to start learning bass guitar 😭 not only is he the most stunning Zeppelin member, but i found out he’s also a very talented multi-instrumentalist (like my Eric 😭) and i really admire that about him ✨ he and Eric are such inspirations to me as a musician 🥰

I don’t believe I’ve heard of London Grammar, but now that you’ve brought them up, I might have to check them out!

And as far as my favourite Christmas tunes. the ones i often like to replay are Little Saint Nick by The Beach Boys, Rockin Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee and Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms.

Ishqbaaz Liveblog, E1: Yeh Lo, Intro Waala Episode Aa Gaya

Nahi nahi, don't be afraid. I'll never leave IPK. I was just craving desi trash with our favorite tropes and classic scenes and @tellywoodtrash has convinced me that IB fits the bill rather spectacularly.

And since it's me - toh iska and things that could have been in IPK ka lamba segment toh hoga. And things that IPK did better.

In short it's this one clip of Omkara and Gauri that's been floating in my head, that's everything Khushi should've said to Arnav convinced me to watch this.
