First time wood burning and making a box

As well as using ceramic clay! As I mostly play around with air dry clay I didn’t think it would be so heavy 😭

An issue I had with the clay is I would have a lot of fun sculpting but when it came to glazing it would ruin the final result in my opinion 😔

I'm notoriously bad at photos of shit I'm working on. Don't hate me (I'll cry) - but!

This is what I've been working on. I don't know why I'm in such an artsy mood the past couple of days. I think it's compensation for my crippling depression.

Anywho. Hexagonal box with a painted moon and clouds. More gold leaf because I'm thoroughly enjoying that shit. The little bottle of liquid gold leaf was like $10 and by god I'm using it all! The moon is also painted over in gold. Kinda hard to tell, but there are gold flecks as stars. Even harder to tell (because my phone doesn't work well enough for this) is the glow in the dark star spots, and the moon also glows (kinda).

I'm considering drilling holes to add little LEDs into it so it actually looks like stars, but then I'd probably have to figure out something for the moon and that's too much so fuck it.

It's gonna have a little skull in it, too. Beaver (needs a bath) as a placeholder until I figure out something I like better.
