Just a quiet soft, small AU image I had when Crowley recalls how he met Aziraphale in the Human!AU fanfiction « Demon & Angel Professors » written by Ghostinthehouse aka @ineffableghost, as I started to read the French translation which is still ongoing.

Though aparently they met as adults in this fic, I just couldn’t stop myself to picture them as much younger and this whole scene gets stuck in my head. And here we are… (I was inspired by this chapter)

In this AU-of-the-AU (lol) « Demon & Angel Professors » (it’s very good, go read it !), Crowley and Aziraphale are still teenagers. Crowley found an interest in botany, but he doesn’t like how it is taught in his boarding school (always squinting on books and learning by heart without understanding it, no practical work ever). So he prefers to skip classes (maths, essentially), wandering around in school gardens and searching/studying plants all by himself (already building his own way of teaching his favorite subject)

Aziraphale, obviously, likes books, all kind of books, even the ones that his teachers consider useless or unfit for school. So, although he enjoys his literature lessons, he often gets bored by the way his teachers judge or criticise some autors and force students to conform their way of studying/writing. Aziraphale thinks that reading books is supposed to make you feel good and free, to inspire you knowledge and dreams. Since he can’t find that in class, he escapes to the gardens as soon as he can to read all his heart’s content.

Well, one day, they found each other on this wall. They first stared, then started to talk, confronted their differences and discovered their likenesses, forgot the passing time. Only some upcoming rain made them get down, but I’d like to think they never parted ever after.

“I’m a twin”, Damian said one night. He could feel the narrowed eyes of his family drilling holes on his back in disbelief. Not that he could blame them. Damian had never so much as implied being raised with a companion, much less a sibling.

“I had a brother”. Damian paused to recollect himself. He had not said his brother’s name out loud in over 8 years.

“His name was… Danyal”. Damian hated the way his voice wavered, but he could not help it. Danyal was everything to him, his other half. Their heart beat as one and when one heart stopped beating, the other one died with it. At least until his family put his heart on metaphorical life support without ever realizing.

“Where is he now?” His father asked, voice filled with knowing grief and a hint of betrayal. It had in fact been 6 years since Damian first showed up on his doorstep.

“Up there”. All eyes shifted towards the specific star he was pointing to. “Right before he died, he promised me he’d guide me from the stars. Unfortunately, the stars are not visible in Gotham, so my brother is unable to be of much help unless I leave the city.”

“Your brother is Polaris, the North Star?” Tim questioned warily, most likely in attempts to not offend him. Damian was aware of how stupid it sounded, but Danyal had promised, and his brother never broke his promises.

“Yes. Danyal is with the stars now, just as he always wanted”

Danny was once known as the god Dan-El in one of his previous lives #he’s ALSO the reincarnation of the Greek Titan Astraeus (and he’s pretty sure Dani is his daughter Astraea) #his previous lives are all so interesting (he still can’t believe he was raised an assassin or that he was a god in multiple lives) #but in all honesty ​it’s even weirder feeling so old and so young at the same time

What if....

Klarion the Witch Boy was Dan? Slightly reformd no longer destroying the world and de-aged back to 14 Dan Phantom? Except even reformed, Danny's Gremlin Nature and Vlad's Need for Dramatics results in one Chaos Lord fucking with the DC world cause his good older self and Guardian only told him he couldn't kill anyone again.

Plus these mini heroes are so stuffy, they need to live a little! The Light was a bit boring though.

Everything is fine and Dandy until some cultists asshole tries to summon his Dad, thinking the Ghost king was still Pariah Dark. Now he is teaming up with the mini-heroes in order to take down a dark magic cult to stop the summoning, much to their confusion and suspicion.

Robin: why are you helping us?

Klarion/Dan: because Pariah might not be king anymore but who is King will ruin my fun!
