i've honestly never been more at peace than now, after deleting social media and letting go of people who drain me. the prob actually is not with social media, its just made to perform that way, the problem, i realised is with lack of self control. we get so absorbed in other people's lives that we neglect ourselves. imo, its disrespect to yourself to not work to be better. you deserve good things. we tend to often forget this bc of all comparison we do consciously or subconsciously.
so if you've been thinking about a digital detox or want to be better in life, try cutting off social media or atleast limit it. like what the hell is gonna happen if you dont know what 'sara' is doing in her life.
initially, it is gonna be hard. but trust me, its worth it.
work on yourself, rethink your purpose, habits and reflect on you past. forgive yourself for things which were out of your control (or even if it was your fault).

list out things that make you happy and try to do as many of them as possible

bunny's 60-day glow up challenge ❤︎

hi my loves! my birthday is right around the corner and i want to end the year strong, so i thought it would be a cute and encouraging idea to host a challenge for all of us glow-up girlies! the steps for the challenge are very simple and customizable, and they give plenty of space for low-energy days. this challenge is all about trying your best to remain consistent in your goals, not to strive for an impossible "perfection" but instead to build trust in yourself that you can show up for your beautiful self and achieve the glow up that you deserve!
steps for the challenge:
pick three habits or things you want to dedicate time to every day
write a sentence or two on why you want to focus on these habits so that you have motivation and inspiration to complete them on hard days; this could include a basic "why" or you could write out specific goals you'd like to achieve through these habits
write out three different energy level variations of the habits so you can achieve your habits even on low-energy days
optional step: write an intro post sharing your habits and goals with everyone! you can use the tag #bunny60days to connect with others doing the challenge and hype each other up with accountability and love - you can also tag me and i can cheer you on hehe! 🥰 otherwise you can simply keep track on your own using a journal or planner or whatever works best for you!
optional step: write daily (or weekly) check-in posts sharing what you accomplished on the different days of the challenge, what you'd like to improve on the next day, or just a general update on how you're feeling. remember that this is a feel-good challenge, not a shame-filled one, so be kind to yourself and use this reflection as a way to show compassion and empathy to yourself 💕 again, you can use the tag #bunny60days to track your progress and see how others are doing!
the only very important rule for this challenge:
if you fall off and don't complete every habit you've written down in a day, do not start the challenge over, just pick up from where you left off! remember, this challenge is about building self-trust and resiliency - this means that you won't let one bad day or break in a streak stop you from continuing your habits. being "strong and hardworking" doesn't mean doing everything perfectly from day one, it means picking yourself up when you fall off course and trying again even though you may feel imperfect.
why only three habits?
when we do challenges, it's so easy to want to accomplish everything all at once, from working out to sleep schedules to everything in between. however, when you eventually burn yourself out or don't complete everything on your super long list of habits, shame is bound to follow, and shame does not make healthy soil for a beautiful plant to grow. starting off with three habits with different energy levels is a good way to ease into habit building while still feeling challenging enough to be interesting.

dont forget to have fun
in this age, where everyone wants to impress people and appear gorgeous all the time, having fun often becomes less of a priority.
but guess what? you naturally look confident, pretty and attractive when you focus on having fun rather than impressing people. because finding such people is rare.
next time when you at a gathering, look around, how many people do you find enjoying and how many look like they either desperate. some might look like they dont want to be there. amongst all, you are much like to be inclined towards being friends with those who are having fun bc they are vibrating on a higher level. you naturally find them attractive.
so next time, when you go to a party or you with friends, do yourself a favour. Rather than trying to impress people, try having fun. theres no one more attractive than a girl who enjoys her life and has fun, rather than being insecure about the way she looks, smiles, eats etc.
you'll be grateful to yourself for that experience.

get it done now (reminder)
the only way to accomplish your goals is to work towards them. dreams dont work unless you do.
start small, just do it for 5 mins and then 5 minutes more. now repeat this for 10 times. i know you might be tired or bored. but if you really want to achieve your dreams you'll have to do it, do it tired, do it bored or even do it small. even if you dont feel like it, just do a little bit of your work.
some people may have it easier than you, but some people even have it harder than you and some of those people are working hard. harder than you can ever imagine.
you are given this one life, one chance..why not do you best? little by little, step by step just do it.
ask yourself, do you really dont want the work to get done or are you just being moody. see, if you really want to excel, you will have to keep your feelings aside.
you will have to give up comfort. you have to thrive. if you re gonna fail, then better give best and fail, then atleast you can claim you did your best and move on. but if you dont even try, then you are never gonna know whether that thing wasnt meant for you or you didnt work hard enough. trust me, its not the best feeling.
if you still feel like not doing anything (which is okay) then dont go on scrolling mindlessly, just do nothing then. sit empty. but dont be on your phone or social media.

I know you want to sleep in but you have to wake up early. I know you don't like the taste, but you have to brush your teeth in the morning. I know that you want to rest, but you're not where you want yet. I know it's warm in your bed but you have to step in the cold. I know the water is cold but you have to wash your face in the morning.  I know you feel sad and alone but you have to do it anyway. I know you don't feel like it but you have to do that workout. I know it's not always tasty but you have to eat healthy. I know it's boring but you have to stick to a routine. I know you want to spend it but you have to save that money. I know you are tired but you have to stick to your skincare routine. I know you are tired but you still have to finish that assignment. I know you want to go to sleep but you still haven't done everything that's on your to do list. I know you are tired but YOU HAVE TO DO IT TIRED. I know you are hurt, but you will heal. I know it's uncomfortable what I just told you but you have to be leading a boring, disciplined and uninteresting life if you want to achieve your dream! STAY FOCUSED!

okay, like seriously, what is the worst thats gonna happen if you start being confident in yourself, if you start working as your ideal self or maybe you stop with sabotaging habits. they aint taking you nowhere. you not working towards your goal and giving dumb excuses is showing your insincerity towards it.do you realise so many people have literally no goals and purpose and then there are those who just make their goals and expect everything to workout on its own. what are you doing if you are not working towards your goal, huh? you getting any better feeling than you get when you feel accomplished?
scrolling whole day is literally the worst thing you could do. what are gaining out of it? you have to grind and grind.
fall in love with this phase. this phase of you working on yourself. you trying to get yourself out of the shi*ty place you're stuck in (physically or emotionally or even financially)
you dont realise how much power this moment has. every sec is a new start. you can literally start right now and change your life. or go back to scrolling!

take small steps at a time but make make sure you are not stagnant or worse- moving backwards. its gonna be hard but just know that it is possible. just bc you had forgotten your potential doesnt mean you've lost it. somedays it gonna be hard, somedays will just pass, somedays you might feel like going back to your old habits.
growth isnt linear. you cant just start and expect things to align.
but what matters is whether you show up for yourself or not.
instead of leaving all the progress behind and jumping to your toxic traits again just bc they give comfort, be uncomfortable. do what is right. show your self control.
