Once you’ve looked over all those cool links, I have some general advice for you on how you can have some sort of support system going for you:
Reasons to move out of home
You may decide to leave home for many different reasons, including:
wishing to live independently
location difficulties – for example, the need to move closer to university
conflict with your parents
being asked to leave by your parents.
Issues to consider when moving out of home
It’s common to be a little unsure when you make a decision like leaving home. You may choose to move, but find that you face problems you didn’t anticipate, such as:
Unreadiness – you may find you are not quite ready to handle all the responsibilities.
Money worries – bills including rent, utilities like gas and electricity and the cost of groceries may catch you by surprise, especially if you are used to your parents providing for everything. Debt may become an issue.
Flatmate problems – issues such as paying bills on time, sharing housework equally, friends who never pay board, but stay anyway, and lifestyle incompatibilities (such as a non-drug-user flatting with a drug user) may result in hostilities and arguments.
Your parents may be worried
Think about how your parents may be feeling and talk with them if they are worried about you. Most parents want their children to be happy and independent, but they might be concerned about a lot of different things. For example:
They may worry that you are not ready.
They may be sad because they will miss you.
They may think you shouldn’t leave home until you are married or have bought a house.
They may be concerned about the people you have chosen to live with.
Reassure your parents that you will keep in touch and visit regularly. Try to leave on a positive note. Hopefully, they are happy about your plans and support your decision.
Tips for a successful move
Tips include:
Don’t make a rash decision – consider the situation carefully. Are you ready to live independently? Do you make enough money to support yourself? Are you moving out for the right reasons?
Draw up a realistic budget – don’t forget to include ‘hidden’ expenses such as the property’s security deposit or bond (usually four weeks’ rent), connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
Communicate – avoid misunderstandings, hostilities and arguments by talking openly and respectfully about your concerns with flatmates and parents. Make sure you’re open to their point of view too – getting along is a two-way street.
Keep in touch – talk to your parents about regular home visits: for example, having Sunday night dinner together every week.
Work out acceptable behaviour – if your parents don’t like your flatmate(s), find out why. It is usually the behaviour rather than the person that causes offence (for example, swearing or smoking). Out of respect for your parents, ask your flatmate(s) to be on their best behaviour when your parents visit and do the same for them.
Ask for help – if things are becoming difficult, don’t be too proud to ask your parents for help. They have a lot of life experience.
If your family home does not provide support
Not everyone who leaves home can return home or ask their parents for help in times of trouble. If you have been thrown out of home or left home to escape abuse or conflict, you may be too young or unprepared to cope.
If you are a fostered child, you will have to leave the state-care system when you turn 18, but you may not be ready to make the sudden transition to independence.
If you need support, help is available from a range of community and government organisations. Assistance includes emergency accommodation and food vouchers. If you can’t call your parents or foster parents, call one of the associations below for information, advice and assistance.
Where to get help
Your doctor
Kids Helpline Tel. 1800 55 1800
Lifeline Tel. 13 11 44
Home Ground Services Tel. 1800 048 325
Relationships Australia Tel. 1300 364 277
Centrelink Crisis or Special Help Tel. 13 28 50
Tenants Union of Victoria Tel. (03) 9416 2577
Things to remember
Try to solve any problems before you leave home. Don’t leave because of a fight or other family difficulty if you can possibly avoid it.
Draw up a realistic budget that includes ‘hidden’ expenses, such as bond, connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
Remember that you can get help from a range of community and government organizations.

Ive seen a lot of people talking about how toxic stays are lately. Please, educate me and tell me what happened or what's happening in the Stay Fandom.
I've seen it on YouTube and Instagram. Please, if you share this opinio,n tell me why.

Hi! I'm an older stay and I've been into Kpop for a very long time (think 2013) I think people are starting to say stays are toxic because a lot of them seem to feel entitled to the members. We're really lucky that the members feel comfortable enough to share a lot with us and produce a lot of content for us, but that doesn't mean we're entitled to it. Things like this start happening when fandoms grow rapidly, like rude vlive comments, things from sharing really personal and potentially triggering things on Chan's room, or telling members to speak English on other vlives. We need to understand as an entire group that that's not really okay.
This is the same thing that started to happen to bts in about 2015-2017 and I know a lot of army's that pulled back because the toxicity made them uncomfy.
We need to understand as a whole group that, even though sometimes the members may feel really close to us or act like best friends that are just far away, they don't belong to us. We can't *blindly* defend them, there has to be a reason. We need to respect their space and autonomy and need for rest. We definitely need to love them, but more for their sake than for personal reasons.
Okay, I understand what you mean. I feel like Chan sometimes is too much. Because, Stays are really becoming "obsessed" With him. And they think that he is their boyfriend because of the proximity that he has with us. Its not good for him to act like he is our boyfriend, because it will all turn against him. I know it will. It's frustrating to me, that people can't understand boundaries and when they are crossing the line. I love Chan, but he should set some boundaries.
Thank you for this. If you know more stuff on why other fandoms are calling Stays "one of the most toxic fandom" Please, let me know.

I think someone is trying to ruin Stray Kids and no one can change my mind. These "accusations" always show up and they are doing something big.
Chan, Woojin, Hyunjin and Jisung. Who´s going to be the next one? Huh?
Bullshit. This is all bullshit. I am getting so tired of kpop.

This Made me smile :(
Bubbly smiles
Tumblr media
Genre: fluff
Warnings: none
Request: yes
Member: Chan
Sunlight spills onto your pillow, warm and comforting on your bare skin as you sit up a little, rubbing your eyes. You yawn, turning around to see your husband sleeping peacefully beside you, the smallest of smiles on his plump lips. Smiling you switch positions so you're laying facing him, wriggling closer to his body heat with flushed cheeks.
Chan's body is bare like your own, and you suddenly feel extremely shy at the thought of last night, of his lips soft on your neck, his hands hot on the skin of your thighs, his whispers like a sweet melody in your head. Your stomach instantly clenches at the memory, and you feel a dull ache inbetween your legs as you hook one over Chan's waist, your arms wrapping around his body. You press a butterfly kiss on Chan's broad chest, his skin warm and fragrant under your mouth, before burying your face in the crook of his neck, your hands trailing up his back, his shoulders and into his soft curls, the strands silky against your fingers.
"Good morning my angel," Chan mumbles, kissing your neck as he tightens his arms around you, returning your hug. "Sleep well?"
"I did," you reply, smiling. "Did you?"
Chuckling, Chan bundles you up in his arms, yawning lightly as he stretches his legs under the duvet. "I did too. How are you feeling?"
You blush at that, pulling away and looking him in the eye. It's just before noon, and the sunshine is bright as it floods through the gap in your heavy curtains. The light turns Chan's dark eyes into molten copper, golden stars floating around in the galaxies of his enlarged pupils. His lashes brush against his rosy cheeks as he blinks, the faint freckles on his skin looking like excess stars that have spilled out of his eyes. His lips are swollen and red, and you can't help but feel the lurch of your heart as it skips a beat, robbing you of your breath. You gulp as you answer, cheeks heating up. "Feeling?"
Chan leans closer to you, his hands trailing down your back in a soft caress. "Well, are you in pain anywhere? You know, after last night," Chan flushes, averting his eyes as he giggles. "Like, down there."
Your husband's awkwardness suddenly makes you giggle like crazy, the sound resulting in Chan to laugh back, his head bowed. You shake your head at how cute he is, at how he seems to have so many layers to him that never fail to surprise you.
"It does a little bit," you admit. "It's not bad though. Do you hurt anywhere?"
Chan thinks, his eyebrows furrowed. "Now that I think about it, you bit my neck really hard last night."
You laugh, the sound muffled as you drop your head onto his shoulder. "It's not my fault," you murmur. "Your neck is just so beautiful I couldn't help myself."
"Vampire," Chan chuckles. "Shall we have a bubble bath? Then I'll cook you breakfast."
Your eyes light up at that, and you nod enthusiastically. "Deal. Pancakes?"
"Pancakes," Chan agrees, before scooping you up into his arms and carrying you to the bathroom.
A while later, you sit in between Chan's legs in the spacious bathtub as he hugs you from behind, his hands playing with the huge mound of bubbles floating atop the pink tinged water. Then he suddenly dollops bubbles onto your nose and you sneeze, bubbles flying everywhere.
"You're so cute," Chan giggles, his hands resting on your waist to stop you from slipping as you turn around in his grip. "Why are you so cute?"
"Hmm I could say the same thing about you, Bang," you hum, kissing his nose.
Shaking his head fondly, Chan reaches for a huge bottle of his favourite body wash, and flipping the lid open he squirts the blue liquid into his hand before rubbing them together. "Let me clean you up?"
You nod, and Chan slides his arms over your collarbones, down your shoulders and leathers up the soap. His hands glide over the curves of your breasts, his thumbs caressing the soft skin before he pulls you closer to him, the water swimming around you as he connects his lips to yours. He kisses you softly, his lips encompassing your own as you smile against him, your hands smoothing over the purple marks you left over his collarbones last night.
"I love you so much," he whispers, continuing to smooth the body wash over your lower back. "You know that, right?"
You bite your lip and nod, lathering body wash yourself on his defined chest. "Yes," you whisper, your fingers running down the grooves of his freckled stomach. "I love you too."
Happy, Chan suddenly flicks bubbles in your direction in excitement, a goofy smile spreading across his angelic face as he waves his fists in the air like a toddler. Laughing, you blow bubbles back at him in return, fully aware that a play fight is about to emerge amongst the water.
