I'm so glad I wasn't the only one thinking that, it looked more like it was out of range than that he was off target. Of course he's going to bury himself in guilt either way but it's an interesting distinction.

Was the shot with the tracker actually possible even if Crosshair lined up the shot properly? It’s not like we saw the tracker fly past the ship or anything. It just fell short

It seems like he was distracted by the stormtroopers for too long and took the shot out of desperation even though the ship was too far
