Hi bookworm, How are you doing? Hope you are reading tonnes of books. I told you few days back that reason of not posting. So I am back and I recently joined bookclub On Fable and if you are interested and want to join the book club which are already available or want something exclusively for just us let me know. So back to this book... I find it very hard to talk about it because I had high hope and it got crushed. Firstly I think that the pages were not utilised properly. Because it's such a long book so you definitely want something to constantly hook you in but it failed. After reading Chain of Iron I had high hope. Hi bookworm, Hope you are doing well and reading tonnes of books. I have been with my family for past few days and celebrated Holi, the Hindu fastival. I am in my village so that is the reason I can't post anything because of the network issue. But that's not what we are here for today. This book is my new home to wounded heart. It's the story of my homeland written with pain of families that were uprooted and torn apart because of their differences. It's the testament of cruelty which happened years ago when a country finally breathed the air of freedom only to watch her children bleeding and dying and hatred poisoning it's soil . And I admire the author to tell this tale from the female perspective and gave them the honour which are often neglected in our history textbooks. This is the must read.
