I’m going to feel so lonely this weekend, every other weekend I always do. 50% of the time every single week, whenever I know I’m not coming home to momma.

I’m happy that due to some upcoming vacations Anthony is taking my brother on, I get to spend a lot more time with momma. And though I don’t like divided parental attention, I feel bad for him and I truly do pray he stays mentally alright. Then again, he chose to go I think so he’ll probably be fine…

But until then, I’ll just do what I always do when I’m there and sulk in the basement.

Part One:

“Get out of my face, you iron water enjoyer!” Aspen kicked gear straight in the stomach, leaving him wheezing. Not only from pain, but also from the absolute absurdity of Aspen’s insult. He stood up after his lungs stopped feeling like they were more broken then usual, and sat next to Aspen, now facing the window and pouting, and he was careful not to touch him, but he made eye contact before tapping his foot to Aspen’s carefully. Aspen flinched hard, but after about half an hour, he tapped his own foot to Gear’s, flinched it back, 

and then, after a few seconds…

.

 He stomped on Gear’s boots and stormed off as Andy and Stella got back to the inn.

…

 Oh well.

 As Aspen stormed off, his face burned. Why the fuck didn’t it hurt with Gear tapping his foot, and why the fuck didn’t he retaliate when he got kicked in the stomach? Aspen knew that being kind to those who might hurt you was a one way route to dying, like those kind soldiers, he saw them die for their forgiveness, being a saint didn’t work in this world. And the worst part was that he had hurt Gear again.

He kind of wanted Gear to do it again.

The next morning, Gear woke up to the sound of screaming. He slid into the kitchen in with his socks over his bandaged feet into the room, only to witness the madness that was Andy fidgeting around and crawling on the bookshelves again, with Aspen screeching at him “Stop creeping around on the goddamned ceiling you wind chill incarnate, and don’t start speaking Italian just to annoy me!”as Stella sipped her coffee and completely ignored the potential homicide that was unfolding as she read her book.

“Gear! Good to see you, can you get the mango dog to stop screaming at me?”Andy started, their eyes shifting to glare at Aspen, who was practically burning a hole into her head by now. 

Gear just looked around and went to get breakfast. As he sat at the table, Aspen sat in the chair next to him, with a plate of pancakes that Stella had made earlier.

Aspen softly tapped his foot to Gear’s.

Well, that’s something new.

Part Two:

 Two days later, the group travelled again. Andy, for once, remembered the camping equipment, and Aspen was left a little… bored? It’d been a while since he’d ever done nothing for… two minutes? In any case, he was somewhat grateful when they settled down, and he got the chance to power the lanterns.

Fuck. That hurt, it hurt so much more than he remembered, what the hell-

“Aspen! Don’t force yourself.”Aspen opened his eyes to look at Gear, who was slowly moving towards him. Nonononono, you have to do this it’s your job- He tried again

Fuck, it hurtsfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck

“Aspen. Aspen! Stop hurting yourself!”

He opened his eyes as he heard hyperventilating, and saw Gear, his face flushed, and were his eyes… glowing? At least the bottom half looked like it definitely was, while the top half remained pitch black, although mostly obscured by his hair.

Is Gear… crying?
