••••••••••••••Okay, I'm not going to lie. This is about to be the weirdest, most nerdy musical/theatre thing in the entire world. Enjoy. ••••••••••••••
Hey, so my school's drama club wants to perform a cabaret sometime next month. So far, the act that I have contributed to the cabaret is the only acting scene so far, so our club adviser wishes for me to find more to balance things out. Some of the members are doing musical numbers from the mainstream musicals and shows, so I don't wish to become repetitive unless they want to perform a scene from those shows. Are there any acting scenes that you could recommend that are high school appropriate?
Hay!!! I’m actually not sure how long ago you asked me this, I operate mostly off of mobile and for some reason have received no notification of your message. There’s plenty of scenes out there, but there’s lots of variables as to what would make it a good scene for you to do. What do you feel your strengths are as an actor? Are there any scenes in the back of your mind that you deeply relate to or feel a personal connection with? Choosing a scene, at least for me, is based very much on the actor performing it. If you want, you can message me the answers to these questions and we can work it out together!!!And if this message was sent a long time ago, hopefully you found a wonderful scene!
Petition for the Tonys to have a Best Ensemble category because the rest of the people onstage besides the stars deserve to be recognized for their amazingness and hard work
