I didn't watch episode 13 and 14 of Queen of Tears because I don't think my fragile mental health can take the pain of Hyun-woo and Hae-in still suffering. Also the storyline is somehow not making sense anymore, there are so many questions that I have unanswered from the previous episodes. The show obviously has a strong plot but the adverse situations seem a bit too much at some points. So I am waiting until this week to form an opinion.

Queen of Tears presents us this incredibly flawed couple in such a heartbreaking yet funny way that it will tug your heart strings and will tickle your belly.
This is a story about how two people who are irrevocably in love with each other but are separated due to miscommunication. This is not a story about who is right or who is wrong or who suffered more. It's about how different each human being is and how we act regarding that.
Hyun-woo fell in love with Hae-in for who she is without having the knowledge of her family background. Like mentioned in the show he wanted to be by her side. This shows his devotion and loyalty to her. But what happens when your wife treats you in a cold manner infront of your office colleagues and doesn't stands up for you when your in-laws are constantly insulting you. Some people may say that she did support him behind his back but it doesn't work like that. What happens when your wife clears out the nursery built for your child that both you and your wife wanted but lose due to miscarriage, you are obviously hurt and angry. Would you feel okay if your partner doesn't care about your parents and your side of the family going as far as not saving their contact numbers and not visiting them. People would say she did help his father when needed and it only happened after the change of heart she had after her diagnosis, so I appreciate Hae-in for doing that but that doesn't cancels out the rest. Hyun-woo felt ghosted after the honeymoon phase of their relationship ended. It's a taxing process to be with someone who refuses to have conversations and internalises everything. He felt isolated in that relationship and Hae-in who was supposed to be by his side played a major role in it. He was miserable in that relationship because he comes across as someone who is definitely commucative and understanding. The thought of separating from her unscathed was a luxury he desired but couldn't dream. So he was happy and content with the knowledge of her dying because in that moment he was looking after himself. I don't agree with his reaction but I understand how toxic and awful things must have gotten to bring out such a reaction from someone who once doted on his wife. He is someone who doesn't have a single bad bone in his body and Hae-in obviously loved him but her actions were quite opposite. It was nice to see him realise his mistakes and take ownership of it and continue to do the right thing.
Hae-in is the best example children growing up in broken homes. Her family dynamic shows that you can have all the luxury and money in the world but love and togetherness can't be bought. Growing up in such situations can always make or break a person and in her case it broke her. She is someone who internalises everything because she thinks no one cares about her feelings and that she would be a burden if she told her problems. Her family has the biggest hand in her being that way. Her mother accusing her for her brother's death when she was a kid herself and then continuing to treat her that way is sad. It's no surprise that she thinks she doesn't deserve to be sad after the loss of her baby. She was happy in the brief period of time when she and Hyun-woo dated and later married because he was the first person who truly saw her and wanted to be with her. She loves him, there is no denying in that but as they say actions speaks louder than words. Regarding her I always question myself that would she have a change of heart if not for her diagnosis. The diagnosis obviously plays a big role in her life and now she is looking at things with different perspective and is trying her best to mend. I liked when she said she divorced hyun-woo because of everything he suffered during their marriage. She is taking accountability.
I just want both of them to actually have a real long conversation. I want both of them to put whatever they have felt on the table and work on it. Its not about who is right, it never has been. It's been always about their marriage.

My point of view on Carlos Sainz vs Charles Leclerc discourse.
This is my first season of formula 1 and I have watched the races of previous 6 years and have good knowledge of the sport therefore I am commenting on this. This however doesn't perpetuate any hate towards any of the people mentioned.
Charles Leclerc is someone from whom there are a lot of expectations and he is held on a pedestal so high up that love and scrutiny comes hand in hand. He is a tremendously talented driver presented on the grid with WDC potential. When you are someone who is burdened with such pressure, you need to understand that people will more critical then appreciative. Sure you will be celebrated when you succeed but it would be awful when you fail because you are expected to perform well everytime. Fictionalizing situations and decisions taken by him or his team is a disrespect to both. Charles is not weak person as the social media and his fandom paints him out to be, he is someone who is strong and has generational talent.
On other hand, we have Carlos Sainz who is an exceptional driver as well. He is someone who is definitely underrated and doesn't show all of his tricks that he has hidden up on his sleeves. He has a distinctive driving style that can be defined as calculated. His performance this season is truly commendable according to me. He is talented no matter what people say but is he a WDC material? That's debatable. There are way too many factors that would need to be considered.
So now coming to the noise that is surrounding both drivers and what I am about to say can be considered for other drivers as well. These two drivers are amongst the 20 best drivers around the whole world and the fact that they are on the grid makes them talented enough. There is always a fine line between criticism and hate. If you remove the social media aspect from the driver and the racing you'll see that there is nothing to hate about any of them. They are there to drive and have healthy competition. That's it.
The people who are spreading hate and constantly criticising any of the driver for reasons except racing are just miserable people who hide behind a screen. They feel superior and validated when they do so. Disliking a driver is one thing but disrespecting him and his skills and achievements is a low. You can love and support one driver without bringing down other. It's possible wish good for your favourite driver without wishing bad luck on the other. They are humans not robots.
Why spread hate when you can spread kindness. Does being mean to someone and hating someone makes you happy? Will it count in your life?
I am sure years from now you are going to look back on these moments and think it wasn't worth it because it's truly not. Enjoy this sport of 20 cars going round and round and live your "real world" life. Fill it with love, fun and positivity.

I mean these people see what they want to see don't they?? No hate to any fandom but I guess you guys are not watching formula 1 but something else. I want to try what these people smoke when watching formula 1🤣🤣🤣
Let these grown men race. Just that.
idc from a lestappen perspective podium situations where charles is not there but max is are like ten times funnier. like max, WHY are you acting like carlos has cooties and are constantly shocked that he's there at all? why are you caring so much about where p2 and p3 stand when when charles qualifies p2 and you're on pole you're so happy to put him in the middle? max verstappen you incriminate yourself i'm so sorry

People criticising Charles Leclerc for not having a good qualifying and comparing his performance to someone else's, I pray you stub your little pinky toe multiple times.
People criticising Carlos Sainz for a front row qualifying and wishing bad luck on him and accusing him for allegedly sabotaging his teammate's car, I hope you step on legos.
You guys are the absolute WORST.

My thoughts on the Saudi Arabian GP 24
I am in complete awe of Max Verstappen and seeing him race makes me think why didn't I get into f1 earlier so I could have watched his whole journey. He was phenomenal. Those who called the race boring, I just want to tell them the race wasn't boring Max is just that good. Also when he was asked how does he feels with his 100th podium and he replied saying it's also 88 missed podiums, I wasn't expecting that answer but I understand. I just want to say Max I only have one heart how many times are you're going to win it.
Charles Leclerc started P2 and I was hoping for him to maintain that, don't know what happened there but nonetheless happy for him.
I was shocked with the reveal of Carlos appendicitis and was sad to not see him in the race. Wishing him a speedy recovery. Also apparently this also goes back to Alex Albon's appendicitis. I need someone to explain me that. I was hoping for a double podium for Ferrari but okay next time.
Also Ollie Bearman did a great job considering his hasty entry to f1. I am looking forward to what he does in future because he's got potential. Well deserved driver of the day.
Special mention to McLaren boys, Lando and Oscar were so good. They were amazing and I am hoping podiums for them.
Alpine or Al-pain, they are not looking good.
The best part of the race was Kevin Magnussen's big brain energy to get Haas points. It was weirdly funny to watch.

I somewhat agree with what you say. It's just weird to see people blatantly hate a person who they don't really know in real life.
I mean how miserable and unsatisfied you have to be in your real life to be like that.
I am new here and this is my first formula 1 season and the dynamics I saw between different parts of the "fandom" is concerning. But gladly I found a couple of blogs that are really kind and actually focus on the race and not the drama so far it's been good.
Unpopular opinion: you can be your own person and love your parents at the same time.
People acting like Carlos’ parents’ political positions shape Carlos’ personality is the most controversial thing I’ve been reading from a generation that claims to be completely different and more open minded from the previous ones - the irony??
If that were the case, if we really were our own parents, then we should look down on Alex as well, no? And we should consider Max as a manipulative person, no? And so on.
But are Alex and Max bad people? No, but they still love their parents because they are their parents.
Me and my parents don’t agree on anything at all, not a single thing, and yet I still love them because they brought a roof over my head and let me decide my own future and still support me even though I have a completely different way of thinking and acting from them.
I read that Max has had to defend his own father in an interview where they kept alluding at him and RedBull’s problems. Do you realise how hard and bitter it is to have to defend your own parent when you want to focus on your own career? Even if Jos did some nasty things and I’ll never support him, we cannot shame Max for doing it since - and I’ll keep stressing it until it’s enough - it’s his father.
And the same exact thing goes for Carlos and everyone else.
The comments I’ve been reading lately about Carlos are worse than the previous years, I don’t know if it’s the fact that he’s leaving Ferrari or the fact that he’s been driving amazingly or that Charles is genuinely upset about him leaving, but please find something else to fill your lives with.

Bahrain GP 2024 was the first ever race that I watched and I enjoyed it.
I have watched all seasons of drive to survive on Netflix to get into the mindset and have read alot about each driver and their performance. I don't support a particular driver or a team but the sport. And I loved watching Max Verstappen absolutely annihilate. To be honest I relate to Max on a personal level. He is truly good and deserves everything. He is talented there is no denying in that.
Also Carlos Sainz was good too. I didn't expect P3 but hoped for a podium for him. I can't wait to see what he does for 2025.
Charles Leclerc showed what he is capable of. He has really matured over the time and last night's race was incredible to watch considering what went down with his car.
It was a bit disappointing to watch Lewis Hamilton considering his previous dominance. Also it's confirmed he packs an ass to break chair.
Overall a good experience.
One thing that I would like to mention that people are angry and divisive nowadays. You can appreciate someone without tearing down other, it's possible. Why don't we take the sport as how it is and keep the unnecessary drama out. I have seen people saying bad stuff about the drivers and so much negativity. Just because someone is talented and has a better car and is dominating, suddenly you hate him or the sport is boring to you. Just because your favourite didn't win you go after a guy undermining his win. Just because your favourite won, you are rubbing it in a mean way on someone else. This is not right. A true fan of sport would never behave like this. It's all about healthy competition and sportsmanship.
I truly believe the fandom culture should stay out of sports.
