I saw "To Err is human" recommend to me, but I felt like it was too much Will Wood, so I decided not to add it (Definitely will now tho). Torture Tango I found through tiktok & you know DAMN well I had to include Another Believer.

I wanted to add some songs from "World of Horror"s ost cause they have AMAZING chiptune instrumentals that would have been PERFECT, but it's not on Spotify anymore (I was devastated to learn about that.)

Thank you! I know a bit more about pokemon as somebody who played SOME of the generations, so I'd be happy to tell you what I based his team on.

●What type they were (I was aiming for ghost, dark, steel, and electric types),

●Their pokedex entries (Tinkaton's evolution line builds their hammers out of scrap metal & are considered smart, Bisharps are known to rule over a pack of Pawniard in the wild),

●What references I can make with them (Golurk is ABSOLUTELY based on the og Zombot, but Gavantula is a refrence to the comics, where it's been shown that Zomboss loves tying spiders to random people's shoelaces to scare them.)

● Their vibe (The thought of having Falinks marching in formation behind him was too funny not to have them on the team. Also, the idea of having Rotom on his team was based on Katris's idea)

Originally, I was gonna have Togedemaru as a stand-in for Mr.Stubbins, but the vibe wasn't entirely right. Bombirdier, Gengar, and Honchkrow were also a possibility, but I couldn't justify why they should be.

So I accidentally thought to myself, "Hey! What if Zomboss was a Pokémon trainer?" And decided to build a team for him.

This caused me to go down a rabbit hole, trying to explain semi in-character as to why each member is on his team: (EXPLANATIONS BELOW)

Rotom(⚧️): Zomboss cherishes his Rotom, Occasionally relying on it helping him power his more energetically demanding contraptions.

Tinkaton (♀️): As much as Zomboss hates she recklessness, he does enjoy Tinkaton's ingenuity, having had her since she was a little Tinkatink. Her hammer is also a good source of scrap metal whenever he needs it.

Galvantula(♂️): Tends to help with Rotom keep the power on, but come on. It's a giant electric spider. Do I need to say more?

Falinks(⚧️): He doesn't have any idea as to how Falinks ended up on his team, but Zomboss finds their loyalty to him too amusing to get rid of.

Bisharp(♂️): A natural leader, Bisharp often helps Zomboss assert authority, making sure his minions (the zombies) & the team (his pokemon) are consistently in line. Tinkaton likes to annoy Bisharp sometimes.

Golurk(⚧️): Zomboss's ace. Golurk is often there to help aid with the construction of his various large-scale machinations and contraptions.

they may not be my favorite pvz comic artist, but jesse hamm is so good at drawing the zombies in a way that makes them look deranged. there are so many expressions that come *this* close to being pogchamps.
