I was talking with my friend about mitsukou yesterday and I had a realization– spoilers for TBHK chapter 110 below!!

Ok, so I was rereading the Picture Perfect arc, and thinking about how much Mitsuba trusts Kou despite saying otherwise. He's pretty quick to switch sides and help Kou with his plan to get out of the painting despite his fears of going up against No. 7! He even goes so far as to yell at Hanako and try to force him to listen to Kou when Hanako tries to leave with Nene!!

So to actually get to what I want to talk about:

Mitsuba hasn't made a yorishiro, yet it's really obvious that he cares deeply about Kou enough to make him his yorishiro

And Natsuhiko already flat out says that Mitsuba likely didn't do this or know to do it bc he wanted to be human so bad (which becoming a full school mystery would ruin) but I would go further to say it's also bc he didn't want to drag Kou into his mess

Despite how much he likes Kou and spending time with him, it's clear that he also wants to try and separate himself from Kou bc he knows what his eventual death will do to him

Also if we think about Mitsuba's character in parallel to Nene's, you could argue that they both have a similar desire to just live the life they have left as humanly as possible. Nene's life has been cut short, and as we've seen from the aquarium date, Mitsuba doesn't have long to live unless he eats monsters/spirits.

I hope that Kou is able to figure out a way to make Mitsuba human like how Hanako is likely trying to extend Nene's lifespan still, but the situation is looking pretty grim....

I just want them all to be happy and eat ice cream together :(

people are playing games of telephone with information about palestine and sometimes it's harmless and sometimes it's not.

no. all of the hospitals in gaza have NOT been destroyed. all of them have been ATTACKED, none of htem are fully functioning anymore, but, NO, they are not all fully destroyed.

tweets by palestinians mourning the safety of the last FULLY FUNCTIONING hospital have been misconstrued as "no hospitals are left" and that misunderstanding leads to a sense of hopelessness that can translate into less medical aid going through to the hospitals that remain--damaged, attacked, more vulnerable than ever before but still standing.

israel has destroyed a large amount of the FUNCTIONALITY of all 36 hospitals but doctors are still doing their best within many of them. and need aid, calls for support, power.

i am once again on my KNEES begging y'all to not just spread one sentence tweets about the state of gaza from people who are... not in gaza. i am asking you to do more work to verify the information you spread.

Hi everyone, it’s Bisan from Gaza, I am still alive Alhamdullah.. it’s been 107 days of genocide, 15 weeks, 2568 hours of killing us, taking over our homes and lands in Gaza Strip, and forcing us to choose between leaving or death.. and sometimes we can’t even choose.. the Israeli air strikes simply kill us without any warnings. I am not scared of death, but of being displaced, scared of losing my family or friends, scared of being wounded and can’t have my treatment because the health system is collapsed in Gaza, and to die in pain! I am not scared of the destruction.. I lost my work place.. my home and my family work place and source of income, I am terrified of being killed by an occupier, and to be forgotten, one oppressed Bisan of a whole occupied people. The strongest governments and weapons manufacturers are supporting this genocide against my people, and you are our only hope! STRIKE globally and call for a ceasefire!
