Scaramouche emerged from his room to the sight of Childe lying on the sofa, arm over his eyes and groaning at the sudden noise,

“Hangover hit you like a bitch, huh?”

“You’re one to talk Scara, how's that bruise from Y/N’s slap treating you?” Childe made eye contact with him as he raised his hand to his cheek,

“Fuck off Ajax…”

“Oh, you're pulling that out?” He laughed slightly, sitting up, “Tell me, Kunikuzushi, just how did you fuck up so badly that Y/N slapped you?”

He sat on the sofa next to Childe, his head in his hands, and sighed,

“I saw them with that fuck-boy, what's his name…?”

“Kaeya?”

“Yeah. I got pissed, thought they'd be happier without me”

“Standard for you”

“Would you just shut up for two seconds God?” He looked to the ground and sighed, “I acted on impulse. I was drunk. I called them a whore-”

“You called Y/N a whore?!” Childe for once looked shocked, “Bro you can't do that”

“Yeah, I'm fucking aware ok? I doubt they're gonna want to talk to me again after all that”

“I can't understand your thought process here…” Childe stood up and headed to the kitchen,

“And then fucking Kazuha-”

“You say something?” Finally, Kazuha had crawled out of bed, hair a mess and shirt still off,

“Oh, you're kidding me…” Scaramouce stood, fire in his eyes and fists clenched so tight his knuckles were turning white, “So you did fuck.”

“Who? Me and Y/N? No…not this time” He shook his head before moving past and heading to the kitchen,

“The fuck do you mean this time?!”

“Why do you care Scaramouche? You two are definitely not together and you did little to help their breakdown last night.”

“Because I fucking love them ok?!”

The two men looked over at him as silence filled the room, Scaramouche sat bad down, again putting his head in his hands and sighing loudly,

“Fuck…”

“Childe who had Scaramouche confessing first?”

“I think Venti and Tighnari had that bet down”

“Huh…go figure”

“You placed fucking bets on my love life?!”

“Buddy, we place bets on everyone's love life” Kazuha laughed, carrying his cup of water back to his room,

“Oh Scaramouche, I suggest you go for Y/N…before someone else gets there first”

“Fuck off druggie” Kazuha raised his middle finger and went back to his room and Scaramouche sat there, staring at the ceiling in thought; my god he really fucked this one up, huh?

｡⋆｡ﾟ☾ ﾟ｡ 22. Never drinking again TW. Drug usage

You looked away from the group chat for a moment at the man stirring next to you, he quietly groaned before holding his head, struggling to open his eyes from the bright light.

“Morning…” you looked down at him nervously,

“Y/N…you’re still here” he sat up for a moment, blanket falling showing his bare chest,

“Did we…?”

“Huh…oh no…I don’t think, gods this hangover is a nightmare” he flopped down on the bed, for a moment you looked around at his room, noticing the large amount of empty bottles, “I think we just got violently high and passed out…sorry about that love”

“Nono don’t worry about it…” you giggly slightly, “Doesnt this always happen at parties with us anyway?” He met your eyes for a moment, smirking before sitting up once more,

“I suppose…but who am I to resist when a pretty person comes in asking to join” you groan slightly at his flirty, it was common place now for you and Kazuha.

“I’m gonna take a shower and probably head out, got these clothes are awful the day after”

“Just grab some of mine love, enjoy the shower I’ll see you soon” he waved his hand, already lying back down to get some more sleep. You opted for a simple baggy top and black joggers, “Oh and Y/N…” you looked over at the man lying infront of you “you shouldn’t use drugs to solve your problems” He smirked at you, before rolling over and finally closing his eyes.

“Oh you’re one to talk.” You rolled yours, giggling slightly before leaving the room.

Honestly, it looked like a bomb had gone off in the living room. Bottles, cans, assortments of clothing or random items out of place. And I’m the middle of it all Childe passed out on the living room floor. You giggle to yourself, rushing to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

You got out. Got changed into Kazuhas clothes and opened the door, and before you stood the only person you didn’t want to see. Scaramouche for a moment looked shocked…looking you up and down seeing the clothes you were in and the messy state of a hangover, before making a slightly grumbling sound and escaping back to his bedroom. Slamming the door.

Yep that was the last straw. You needed to leave. And fast.

The moment felt like it lasted a lifetime, just both of you stood in the cold air, the distant noise of cars in the background, and the comment that hung between you two. What the fuck, you thought, a whore? He turned away,

“What the fuck do you mean?! Whore?! How could you say that too me Scara…”

“You heard me. Didnt take you long to move on and find some other random guy to obsess over.”

“Random guy…You mean kaeya? That was a long time ago and who said I was obsessed with you!”

“Please I see the way you look at me, the tweets, the comments. You dont hide it well” You look away, you felt tears pricking in your eyes, you felt humiliated.

“And to think…I wanted a friendship with you. And now youre acting like a bratty child gods…This is worse than you just leaving again…”And then, he snapped.

“Gods Y/N I didnt have a fucking choice! My mum forced me to leave! Her sister died and she was delusional…she thought someone was out to get us. She smashed everything I owned and just trapped me in a fucking house” He stepped closer to you, “You think I fucking wanted that life? Huh? You think its a joke to constantly bring it up? News flash Y/N. The world doesnt revolve around fucking you.” He stepped closer one more time, into you personal spce, your noses nearly touching.

“To think I ever loved you…”

“Why would I fall for a needy, pathetic nobody who can't let go of the past? So run along and whore yourself out to the first guy who gives you attention tonight…I heard Kazuha was available”

Silence…Followed by a loud slap. Scaramouche was pushed back slightly, hand coming up to his face as if it sobered him up, as guilt filled his eyes

“Wait…Y/N”

“Never…fucking talk to me again, Kunikuzushi.” You turned away. And left him standing there. Shocked.

A/N.- This is a long one so strap in bitches

You arrived at the party, sightly tipsy from pre-drinks, Hu Tao, Lumine and Ayaka stumbling behind you. You buzz the doorbell and before you had time to think the door was sung open,

“Ladies, and Y/N, looking good!” Childe smiles, “Come on in~” He pulls you inside and loud music already harass you ear drums, you werent drunk enough for this. You follow everyone inside, heading to the kitchen to see Venti, Kaveh and Xiao standing together, “Hello boys,” You giggled, reaching towards the bottle of wine Kaveh was holding, “And you brought me a gift. Love you Kav~” You wink before taking a large swig of the drink, Kaveh went to complain before another bottle was pushed into his hands by venti and he gave him a look, as if to say let them drink it moron. You looked around at the tightly packed apartment,

“More people than last time, seems Childe made some friends” Venti giggles at this comment as you continue to look around, and there stood in the corner, with a red solo cup in his hand was Scaramouche. He looked pissed off with everything around him and was definitely forced to be here. You look away nervously, you knew you were gonna talk to him tonight. You just needed a lot more liquid courage. You continued to talk in the little group for a while, eventually being joined by both Ayaka and Yoimia who looked…closer than normal. Before you could comment there was a tap on your shoulder, as you turned your stomach dropped,

“Y/N, Hello darling…fancy seeing you here” Wearing tight leather pants and a baggy white top, Kaeya smiled at you.

“Kaeya…what a nice surprise, I haven't seen you since…last time” You grimace slightly.

“Oh right, that was sure a fun party. How about I make you a drink?”

“Sure, you half-heartedly agreed, moving away with Kaeya further into the kitchen, not noticing the annoyed eyes that followed your every move.

After an hour of talking with Kaeya you were feeling comfortably drunk…well enough to have your filter gone and one goal in mind. You brush your hand against his shoulder, looking into the corner where Scaramouche was. “How about we finish this later, I have a…friend…I really need to see” You push slightly past him and strut off before he can even comment. You first headed to the corner where he use to be, seeing he wasn't there your next stop was to check outside, on the balcony. Lo and behold the man was looking over the city, cup on the ground and cigarette firmly in his hands.

“Hey,” You stood next to him, reaching into your bag to pull out a pack of Marlboro golds, taking the cigarette out and lighting it. He glanced over at you, before looking straight on.

“Didnt think you smoked” You giggled,

“Only when drunk.” You leaned your head on his shoulder and he shrugged it off, you made a gasping sound before he threw his smoked cigarette off of the side.

“I don't know what fucking game you're playing Y/N, but if you're going to act like a cheap whore maybe don't do it to everyone at the party…ok?

What. The. Fuck.

Hello! I do it on Moblie since I find it a lot easier, and then edit the text on my laptop. When you add multiple images on mobile usually it lines them up, but you can also hold and drag it. I’ll add a video and hope it helps! 🫶

You ring the bell to apartment 11 nervously, you hadn't been here since last year when Childe threw that end-of-year party. You recoil at the memory of you and Kazuha in the bathroom doing...Not so fun substances. You dreaded if Childe ever threw another party now Scaramouche was back. Your thoughts were cut short as the door was swung open,

"Oh, you're actually on time." He stood before you in a baggy white top and grey sweatpants. Oh boy, this was gonna be a long day.

"I was late once Scara, pack it in," You said, brushing past him and leaning down to take off your shoes,

"You walked?" He asked, looking outside.

"No shit Sherlock, I can't drive"

"I was going to offer to drive you back, but not with that attitude" He walked past you and headed to the living room and sat in front of the coffee table, with the work laid out in front of him.

“Damn…Childe hasn't changed this place one bit” You sat on the floor, opposite Scaramouche and reached to get out your laptop, placing it on the table in front of you.

“When was the last time you were here?” He looked down at you as he spoke,

“Oh it was the last party he threw, maybe 6 months ago at the end of term…right before you showed up”

He hummed in response, typing away at his computer.

“Where is Childe?” You asked

“The idiot went out for something, and said he'd be back later”

You nodded and tried to get to work, but your gaze kept wandering back to Scaramouche, how he sat with his legs slightly apart, his smooth hands tapping away, His sweatpants tight around his- Nope, na nah, end that train of thought right now and get to work. You shook your head, but not before taking a quick photo for Twitter.

It was a few hours in now. Like all of your previous meet-ups, you occasionally traded notes and the odd joke here and there. It felt nice, just to sit comfortably in each other's presence and work together. There was a large part of you that really didn't want this project to be over, but there were only a few weeks left. You just hoped that you guys could be friends after. Scaramouche stopped typing, and looking down at where you were sitting,

“We've done a lot today…we can leave it there for now”

“Oh, ok” You nodded, shutting down your laptop and gathering your things, “Are we still good to do Monday?” He stood up and stretched, arms reaching above his head. You gulped. Only holy thought Y/N, please.

“Yeah I can meet you after shift”

“Awesome. Don't go ghosting me again then” You giggled slightly, but the tone of the room quickly dropped, Scaramouche looked down, crossing his arms.

“Yeah. You'll never let me live that one down.” You laughed awkwardly, trying to save the atmosphere you guys had,

“Come on Scara, it was a joke!” He looked up at you,

“Is it though? Because it seems like a thinly veiled jab to get at me for the past. Just grow up and move on Y/N” You looked down, defeated.

“Oh…”

“Just go. I'm not dealing with your fucking guilt trips right now” He turned away, trying to occupy his mind with anything but the conversation in front of him.

“Right…I'll see you then. I guess…” He didn't say a word after that, you quickly gathered your things before leaving the building, with one thought in both of your minds - Fuck. I just fucked up.

Kind of a crack request, but also kind of of fluffy You know the 3.5 scene where Kaeya is in Sumeru? What would happen if the traveller was Kaeya's lover? Partly the letters were tailored because he misses them greatly (despite him being on their team). Lots of kisses and soft talk when they reunite.

Meanwhile Dain just hurled in the bush from the sappiness, this is so much worse then collusion.

A/N - Ahhh thank you so much for the request! I hope this is ok, it's not too long but I had some fun writing it and I can always do another part! - Also this is from the perspective of the traveller that isn't lumine/aether!

You held the letter in your hand as you approached the spot in which Kaeya had requested you- It was 5 pm now, and the tavern was alive with customers; many sitting around, drinking, laughing and enjoying each other's company. You surveyed the area, your eyes landing on a table in the corner, seating one distinct customer, “I'll have something I haven't tried yet, boss…” You heard your lover say as you approached the table,

“Um…sorry sir, I'm afraid you've already tried every type of liquor we sell”

“Oh? Well then just the bill please”

“Drinking on the job…? How unprofessional” You stood at the end of the table, smiling lightly at the man in front of you,

“Traveler, my love. Im so glad you could make it” Kaeya stood, a warm smile on his face as he moved to stand next to you, wrapping one arm around your waist and pulling you closer,

“Kaeya, you're really here!” You heard your companion Paimon gasp from next to you, “Paimon half thought you were playing some form of prank on us”

“Come now” He chuckled, “I would never kest about seeing my dear partner now. I was simply in the area and hoped you'd spare the time to see me” He kissed you lightly on the cheek and your smile only grew, “Come now, sit, I'm sure we have much to talk about. How about I get you a drink Y/N” You took the spot next to Kaeya, Paimon infront, you laced your hands together and rested them on the top of the table, waiting for the server to come back so you could order,

“What brings you all the way to Sumeru my love, surely not just to see me” You glance his way, a smirk lifting on your face,

“Oh, I wish that was the case,” He lifted your hand to his lips, placing a soft kiss there, “No, I'm actually here to learn more about the alcohol industry here” The conversation continued, you talked about his reason for arriving, your victories in sumeru and your plans to visit Fontaine now the crisis is quelled. The night grew darker and you rested your head on Kaeyas shoulder, as he softly spoke about Mondstadt to you and your companion, occasionally looking over to place a chase kiss on top of your head. By now, one of his arms was wrapped around your shoulder as he drew you closer to his chest.

“What are your plans for tonight, love, are you staying in the hotel or are you setting off back to Mondstadt?” You looked up at him as you spoke, he chuckled.

“No, I still have a few more places I would like to look into before I depart, perhaps you could keep me company tonight Y/N?” He smirked down at you before leaning down,

“Nope, Na nah, Paimon cannot deal with you two being lovey dovey!” She pointed at you dramatically as you both grinned. Meanwhile, behind the wall concealing your table. A familiar figure stood, eavesdropping on the whole interaction,

“So, that's what has become of the descendent of the Alberich clan…” He shook his head, observing further, “The traveller and an Alberich eh…I really cannot deal with…couples…” He held his breath. Deading to have to go over and sit in front of you two, but he knows he must. He was here for answers after all…

You sat down in the same corner you guys worked in last time, you definitely didn’t feel the same dread as before; if anything, you felt excited almost. You haven’t seen Scaramouche since your last session and that ended relatively well, it felt like you were making a dent in the walls he built up after he left. You lay your bag on the table, sorting through your supplies and getting out your laptop to start working. 10 minutes later Scaramouche waltzed in, standing next to you.

“Grabbed you a drink, the shift took longer than I thought it was going to” He handed you the cup, and the smell instantly hit you and you knew it was your favourite, for a moment you were left speechless.

“You remembered my order..? Thanks, Scara.”

“It’s nothing. The drinks are free for me on shift and you come in constantly with that twink it’s hard not to remember what you like” His comment made you giggle slightly,

“Oh Kaveh, yeah we got there to avoid going to the bars as much this year” You sent him an appreciative smile and took a sip of your drink.

“He’s the one banging Alhaitham right” he sat in front of you, grabbing his own things to start working,

“How did you find out about it? And yeah but he’s convinced they’re not dating yet”

“Childe brought it up and had us take bets on it. It was easy money” You giggled again at his comment - oh my gods what has gotten into you acting like a little school girl. You tried to push it off and continue with your work. You guys once again worked in silence for just over an hour, occasionally trading comments and notes, it was a comfortable silence - until your phone decided to make an appearance. You sighed, looking at the caller ID before muting your phone.

“Who’s that?”

“Ugh, some guy I hook up with a few times, since the start of the year he’s been calling non-stop”

“I didn’t think you were so desired around here” he looks up and smirks at you slightly, you laughed,

“Apparently so” The rest of the hours flew by fast, trading jokes and laughing between you. Yes, it definitely felt like old times. Before you knew it, it had already reached 6pm, and the time you designated together was up.

“Same time next week?”

“Of course, gotta get the project finished somehow” You gave him a smile packing your things, “I’ll see you soon scara” You waved as you left.

“Bye, Y/N”
