im talking abt silly things again but i feel like some ppl treat jotaro like he genuinely doesnt like josuke and finds him annoying. here to PSA that he absolutely loves that kid. he’s a stoic guy and doesn’t exactly openly express affection, but hes never acted irritated by josuke. he asked him, over anyone else, to help him fight the rats, and he called him reliable in that arc. he comforted josuke after his grandpa’s death, trying to reassure him that it wasn’t his fault, and he told him that his stand power was the kindest of all. whenever josuke was in danger, jotaro was scared and rushed to protect him. this is the same as his relationship w jolyne, he’s not saying “great job kid, i love you” but his behaviour clearly shows he cares.

like, jotaro went thru the same stuff josuke did at almost the same age. he knew how painful it was to lose someone, he nearly lost his own grandfather, and then he had to watch josuke go thru the same thing. even if u ignore the obvious respect he has for josuke, he would at least empathise with him and want to prevent him from suffering the same way he did
