With my parent's 3-week trip to New Zealand coming to an end we thought we’d book a little chalet in the Catlins and explore the endless rainforest trails. We found out that they’re called rainforests for a reason but the rain didn’t dampen our spirits and we had an amazing time. The Catlins is a really special untouched place which I hope to return to very soon to take more photos.

Since I was a kid I have always been into skateboarding, but I have never tried to capture it with my camera. I wanted to experiment taking more unorthodox shots and capturing the cool shadows being cast onto the side of the bowl and mini ramp. Edited in B&W to emphasise the contrasting light.
