Here's the first finished stucky fanart I've done on my new ipad! It's kinda messy and there are bits I don't like but I don't want to stress over it too much. I'm overall happy with it and can't wait to start seeing improvement in my coloring. I did use a reference for the pose though.

@fantakoi This is super long and you don’t have to read this (I linked it to you on twitter), I just wanted to talk about the behind the scenes stuff. But I was in the mood to reread Ghost Lights and thus really wanted to create something for it; I hope you like it.

 So I had originally wanted to do an oil painting but didn’t know where they were so I dug out my never used gouache set. I really didn’t look up any background references or thumbnail for that part. In fact, this piece started out with me wanting Creature!Robin but I switched gears. I did try and shade Robin’s face a bit with two different colors cause the reference I used for the pose had this dynamic side lighting I wanted to incorporate. Anyway, I think from now on I’ll stick to my inks and bettering my digital art. I know I'm complaining but that's really just my compulsive need to over share haha, I actually like the way it turned out considering everything.
