It's all about to kick aff on my wee channel. I've not posted on here much but this is a quick posi update troops. Hopefully is anyone sees this they check out the channel and I hope ye enjoy! A quick update on things: I'm really busy over the next month and a bit. After some recent scares from my computer it's come to my attention that it's on its last legs and I desperately need an upgrade. Wit does that mean for yous? If I upgrade then a lot of the freezing and slowdown goes away, then it becomes much less of a pain to make and edit videos. This means more videos faster Similarly, it means i can record more games and PC exclusives like PUBG or XCOM 2 mods with star wars storm troopers or something mental. I can stream more regularly because my rig could take it. Sadly, as computers are expensive it also means I need to work a lot more in order to get the money to afford it. I'm still editing videos, but they might be once every 2 weeks or once a month. At the moment I'm working on our second drinking challenge video and as the last one was arguably the best on the channel I want to make sure the quality is the best it can be. What would you want to see more? Less frequent videos of a high standard with all the edits we put in? Or keep one video a week with minimal editing? To top it off, I'll be on holiday for 2 weeks from the end of August and into September. I'm not planning on taking a laptop with me so unless a miracle happens and we prepare some videos to be scheduled, then there might be a gap for that period. There is some light in the tunnel though, my brother has edited at least one video and I'm trying to get him to commit to editing more to fill the gaps while I'm working. If there's enough demand then he'll have to get his finger oot. Love yer auld da Xox

Awrite everyone!
This is my second ever review of a wee indie horror game that has been on my Echolocation Radar for while now *bahdumdiss* Aye that's right, its a Perception review!
Perception was developed by veterans of the industry, including ex Bioshock, Rock Band and Dead Space staff. With a lineup like that, how can this game possibly disappoint? The premise of Perception is that you play a blind girl called 'Cassie' and lead her through the world using echolocation. This means that Cassie sees with her ears SHE CAN HEAR IMAGES
Perception starts with a bit of a cold opening. It gets you up to speed with her mechanics of sight and goes on to explain that shes been having nightmares of a mansion for a few months - as is tradition, shes done the boost to this mansion, alone. The mansion is abandoned, however there is creepy goings on with ghostly apparitions and TVs and radiators getting turned on and off with nobody theeerrreeee oooooohhhhhh
The goal of the game appears to be attempting to find 4 items that always appear in this mansion according to Cassies dreams. A rope, a ticket, an apple and an axe.
As you make your way through the house youll find various items that you can pick up for lore buildings. These come in the form of various items that trigger memories or just plain ole tapes that help unravel some of the mystery.
Gameplay mechanics:
I briefly described the mechanics of the game above - the meat and tatties revolve around the blind aspect of Cassie and how she sees.
You can press space bar to tap her cane and objects will be outlined as the sound spreads out around the environment in a small wave-like burst. Smashing the space bar and watching the sound ripple outwards with the satisfying 'doosh' just feels quality. It might just be me, but with headphones on i find it to be really immersive and I don't think the same could be said when smashing a button on a controller
*montage of walking and cuts of telly being on, gusts of wind at the start, radiators In tandem with the cane, every step you take will emit a small pulse enabling you to see a few feet in front of you, with various noises throughout the game acting like a 'streetlamp'. You will see strong gusts of wind billowing throughout the house if a windae is left open - or if some spooky bitch has turned the telly on, you'll also see that through the darkness too.
Naturally, this sets a good precedent for a number of horror opportunities. If yer constantly plunged in darkness, the only way to see is with sound - dae ye risk tapping yer cane to see where you are going or will that alert any baddies near ye to yer whereabouts? What if ye tap the cane and suddenly there's a big creepy basturt right in front of ye???
Echolocation is not the only ability of Cassies Ye can press ctrl to use her '6th sense' to focus in on objectives with xray vision through walls and all sorts
There are areas where you are supposed to hide so we expect some adrenaline infused chases - a staple of any horror game these days.
Sound effects and music:
You would really expect a game with a blind protagonist to have great audio design and whilst it doesnt appear to be groundbreaking - the design does not disappoint. When you tap the cane, cassie actually hits whatever item the reticule is point at - so as you walk around the house looking at various objects, youll hear corresponding noises. It's a nice touch that certainly adds to the ambience. There's not much in the way of music - this might be due to design choice of really putting you in the shoes of the protaginst alone in the mansion, however some eery music may be missed by some. Personally, it doesn't bother me too much.
Cost: I bought this game on launch for £15.65 which was actually discounted - really nice offer to entice folk to buy in to a new IP.
Bear in mind that I haven't completed the game, and my opinion may be subject to change at a later date - I'd say its a great deal.
Had it been the full price of £17.99, I'd say Perception is worth the asking price

It’s not just games and that I like. I’ve taken to enjoying the gym and other fitness activities and this vest is the best thing ever. I’ve got another one very similar to it that says “Training to beat Goku”.
I was always self conscious about wearing a vest cause I clearly can’t pull it off, but I like it because it makes you work towards where you want to be. If you see yourself in it, you will be pushed to work harder to look better in it? The quote as well is just badass af 💪 Love some dbz
Also how the fuck do you selfie again? Do you go for weird crazy surprised face or plain sailing, chill face?

Check yer auld da hitting the top of the favourites list out of 500. I know that this is miniscule but this just made my week. It's rare to see someone take the time out of a group page like that and actually put the effort in to provide feedback for one channel, but this guy swimmed through 500 comments that were just dropping links into his thread asking to be checked out. It's just nice to get recognition as a small channel. Every view, like, comment and sub means the world. With so little of them starting out, you can't help but wonder if it's worth it. Comments like this show that it is worth it and that ye need to keep on producin!

Perception Gameplay/Walkthrough - Indie Echolocation Horror Game by Ex Bioshock Devs (Unofficial Daredevil Game)
Awrite everyone! This is a wee indie horror game that has been on my Echolocation Radar for while now!
*badum tiss*
I can't remember how I came across it, but it instantly reminded me of my favourite blind Marvel Character ‘Daredevil’ - and answers the question of hos does Daredevil see?
We dabbled with horror gameplay previously when we first started the channel on Resident Evil 7 - but the quality of the channel was lesser back then. This time we tried to use facecam but it didn't work as well as we would have liked and it seems my computer struggled a bit to run both the game and OBS :(
The game was developed by veterans of the industry, including ex Bioshock, Rock Band and Dead Space staff. With a lineup like that, how can this game possibly disappoint?
Perceptions premise is that you play a blind girl 'Cassie' and lead her through this dark world using echolocation. You can tap her cane and it will show your surroundings in an almost 'x-ray' like vision - showing the outlines of objects. In tandem with this, every step you take will emit a small pulse enabling you to see a few feet in front of you, with various noises throughout the game acting like a 'streetlamp'. Naturally, this sets a good precedent for a number of horror opportunities, constantly plunged in darkness, the only way to see is with sound - alerting any predators of your presence.
We haven't gotten far into the game, but there are areas where you are supposed to hide so we expect some adrenaline infused chases - a staple of any horror game these days.
Forgive the camera issues - we tried using my phone camera linked via USB which was working fine until we started recording and didnt find out until 6 minutes in.

If ye like the video gee it a like and subscribe please. It really helps us out as it enables more folk to see our videos
What do you think of the new outro music? It's gonna have some 8bit synths through it in future but i thought id throw it up as a wee teaser at the end of this video.

Awrite everyone! Like I said in the video, the Indie Game developers at Etaxoft have asked me to do a review of their game Sli-Fi/SliFi.
It's currently on Steam Greenlight and I give my full endorsement fur yous to go and check it out. If you could give them a vote it would really help them as it means they can launch their game on the steam platform and get some exposure.
SliFi is a 2D platformer in which yer a wee slime that has to traverse different planets, collect 3 coins and make it back to a portal. The fun comes from using the inertia in Space to throw yourself round a planet with their gravitational pull. It's gonna cost $1 so I think it's a really reasonable price for a wee fun game.
They want the game to compete with Super Meat Boy, whilst I see the comparisons, I don't know if I'd choose that game to compare it with. Super Meat Boy is more fast paced and is a bit of a twitch platformer, whereas this is a lot more slower paced and allows you to plan out how you will make use of the inertia to make it to your next goal.
I've never done a review before so I hope it tickles yer pickle. I'm particularly happy with my doctor who cameo. It's definitely different writing a script so that ye keep on track but maybe with time I'll get better. I canae help but slip into "professional" voice - does my nut in.
The game is also out for Android if anyone is interested: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.etaxoft.slifi&hl=en_GB

Do you like Scottish accents? Do you like bearded men?
Do you like Scottish bearded men getting drunk on Whiskey while playing video games?
If your answer to any of the above was “aye, fling it in me” then you’ll want to check out our video! We play a drinking game that is channelled through Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 on PS1. Member playing horse? Well we call it ‘bawbag’ in Scotland and whenever you get a letter you have to take a shot.
Hilarity ensues!
It will guarantee to pull on your nostalgia string with the blocky graphics and hit soundtrack.

Milestones
We are one sub away from 50.
50 people that actually like what we have to say about games.
It’s a stupidly small number in the scale of things, but when we started we were always taking the piss out of each other like “here, magine we actual for 50 subs.” “actual magine.”
It’s a slow game youtube - but it’s worth it. It’s so satisfying when someone actually enjoys the video and you know you’ve had an impact. Nothing spiritual but like when someones had a wee chuckle - thats fantastic.
I never want to stop that.
