He broke up with me.

It was probably for the best. But right now it still hurts. My ego is bruised and I don't like the way it ended. I don't feel heard. I don't feel understood. I feel abandoned, like I was too much and not worth fighting for. I had the courage to ask to be loved the way I wanted to be loved. I expressed the way I was feeling, my insecurities and doubts. He could have responded differently. But he chose to run away. And I'm letting him. Begging is not a good look on me. And though I'm sure better things are yet to come, right now the pain is real. My saddens is great. I'm angry. I'm annoyed. I'm disappointed. And once again, I am alone.
