We train our dogs to stay away from one anothers' food dishes until the owner of said dish walks away, leaving any remaining food to fate. However, Loki waiting for Tribble to finish has a much different feel from Thor waiting for Taz to finish.

I replaced Thor's plastic bowl because he has been chewing on it since he was young, which makes that bowl well over a decade old and impossible to sterilize...and again, plastic.

Yup, I did not see it coming until everything hit the day of one of Thor's appointments. His jacket didn't fit, I noticed that his harness was tight, and everyone was politely commenting on how much healthier Thor looks now. X-D

Taz has recently started snubbing her food, and is clearly irate that Thor is getting different food. Since his food is a prescription food, I offered her a couple of kibbles, but that did little to help. Nope, this pom wants the good stuff.

I have been wanting to post those photos of Loki being the best support dog for Tribble, but wanted to explain why we think her fur looks that way. We suspect that Tribble was exploited in the puppy mill until she couldn't produce any more puppies, then was cast out into the world.

The best part of the photo/evidence is that Taz only did this when she knew that my brother would be the first to find it. If I was the only one in the house, she would leave the mat alone.

This incident happened the morning Thor was taken to the vet for his illness. Taz ran the squirrel up some vinyl siding, then it lost its grip and fell into Thor's mouth. Taz was overjoyed. Loki was horrified. Tribble was neutral and not paying attention.

In hindsight, it was quite amazing that even at 20lbs and several days of failing to keep food in, Thor was energetic enough to manage this.
