My cousin works for apple, so she A) refused to let me keep my android when I moved in and B) helped me get an Ipad + Procreate from the goodness of her heart. And now my art's already like 75% better than when I just had a wacom pad and GIMP And then Tyler reposted that stream and I got inspireeeed I want to do Benjamin justice in my next fan game, I already have plans for how he'll be involved in the first case. I'll mostly be posting art like this on my Ko-fi (which should be FREE to look at) but I can't not post this one here, I'm just too hyped Happy WKM anniversary ^_^

It's Been A Whole Year?!

I've just posted an update for In The Dark, mostly bug fixes and little tweaks. Seems fitting to post it today. And it's weird to think that last year, I was already trying to NOT work on the sequel for it. And now I have the first few scenes of the first case (I.E. chapter) drafted.

Hey I really want to play your fan game but I don't have RPGmaker, is there a vod of that playthrough someone did so I can watch it?

So I've gotten messages like this before and I wanna clarify something. IDK who started this rumor, but: You DO NOT NEED RPGMAKER to play RPGmaker games

You also DO NOT NEED AN ITCH.IO ACCOUNT to download the game

All that you require is:

-A working Windows PC

-To download the game here

-To unzip the zip file after downloading it (link to instructions on the download page if you need them)

And that's it! Tee-daaah! If you still can't play the game (No windows PC, horror games spook you, ect) then MsRockenTooth does have a playthrough here. But take note that it's not the final version--the version up now has fixed a lot of the bugs Rocken finds in her playthrough, and has some cleaned up dialogue for the finals scenes, a bonus feature for one of the final levels, and an after credits cut scene for chapter 3. So unless someone does a playthrough of that version, you'll miss out on that stuffs.

To see a much older version of the game before I'd even completed chapter 2, you can also look at DolphinTreasureArt's playthrough here

One more thing; on top of the many copyright-free songs I used for the game, I also made two covers of The Song That Never Ends, and several for Myuu's song Identity Crisis. (You can find his original here.)

I'm not normally a music-making guy, but I worked pretty hard on these and I'm quite proud of myself, so I made a playlist of them all. This one's just my favorite. Hope y'all enjoy them ^_^

I've made my final update to the game; fixed a LOT of bugs that MsRockenTooth found in her livestream of the game, fixed up some dialogue/pacing issues, and added two features I initially ran out of time for; random quotes floating in the upside down, and an after credits cutscene.
