There wasn't that much ghostflower things on redbubble, so obviously ghostprowler was out of the question, let alone MY version of that ship, but I needed something that reminded me of my sillies.

I'm SO happy to get more Miles stuff finally, but I don't really like how the red of the print looks like, so I am thinking of using some of my leather paint into this (don't worry, it works on fabric as well.)

And despite all of this, I still want MORE stuff, ahh I can't wait to get my bundle from the spider-verse zine.

So I went to buy some facial soap to the store because I ran out, and I saw this magazine about Spider-man trivia.

Now I haven't bought a magazine in probably a decade, I'm not into them and chances are, if I got it I was going to see what I wanted and promptly forget about it, so what did I do?

Buy it, of course, because my impulse control is horrible.

I went to pay, and the cashier asks "Are you a spiderman fan?"

I am not sure if I can go that far, but I'm half way saying "yeah," when he says "Oh, you have a spider hoodie!"

This is when I remember that I, indeed, was wearing my spider-gwen hoodie, and I didn't want to point out to the spider-gwen keychain that was on my backpack.

Did I mention that I was trying to find a spiderverse theme mug this morning?

In other words, brainrot is strong and if I don't have more Miles Morales merch, is because when I try to get it is sold out.

I saw a post about an anon saying it was embarrasing to have an ao3 account in your 30s (it's absolutely not), so I want to do a poll and see what the age range actually is.

Huh, to be honest when I do the comparisons I do less in comparing it to an old hyperfixation, and more what I believe a real fan of that franchise would look like.

The reason why I don't feel I am like a real spider-man fan, is because there is a lot of content.

There are the comics, the TV shows, games- I had seen spider-man fans, the ones who had watched A LOT of stuff related to spider-man, who can name the villains (or the main ones anyway,) details about his creation, the whole thing.

I know there you can say "You need to watch X amount of things in order to call yourself a fan," but after seeing people who are really fans of Spider-man, I don't feel I can go that far.

At most I guess I could say spider-verse fan, because considering how much I had studied this movie and the essays I have anything else would sound absurd.

If I am honest? I adore ITSV, is a great movie, but ATSV just simply owns my heart.

I feel the animation really goes up a notch, is so creative, beautiful and inspiring- damn, is something that really stuck up with me the first time I watched it.

Something I remember, is that I decided to watch this movie the day it came out, because I wanted to make sure I didn't get any spoilers, and I was really curious if it could live up to the legacy of its predecessor. Since the only available seats were more expensive than the other (imax, etc) I was thinking "this better be worth it."

In the first twenty minutes of the movie? I thought the movie already was worth it.

(After this, is just rambles.)

My love for this movie is out of this world, I literally ended up seeing this movie 9 times in theatres because I just NEEDED to see it again, the movie came out in June 2, and in August 8 it was available in digital, so that tells you how desperate I was.

I have the equivalent of essays about this movie, studying segments just to gush about it, discussing themes, the characters.

There is so much happening, so many details, I swear I lost count how many times I watched the movie, and discovered something new.

Both are fantastic movies, but is ATSV for me.

Pal, for the "updates" we got, you could just had not said anything.

That's a perfect non-answer, and sure, I was not expecting a date. I am 99% sure the second movie wasn't finished on time and that's why the entire issue with two movies and mixed audio happened, to not mention all the disparities in the merch.

Oh really? I really wonder what he can tell us about!

...Shameik, man, either you aren't allowed to say shit (which hey, I can get, Andrew Garfield pretended for like 2 years that he wasn't going to appear in No way Home,) but this isn't teasing, this is telling what we know.

In all honesty, it all sounds more like saying the most basic stuff possible because there is nothing.

And considering what we learned about the production in the last movie, and the its circumstances, I am really not expecting this movie to be out this year. I wish it was next, but that may be too optimistic.

I guess is hard not to be bitter after thinking today it was going to come out, and if we are being honest, it wasn't feasible by the time they made said announcement either.

You know? Something funny about being obsessed with these movies (Mostly ATSV really) is reading a fic and realize of "mistakes."

The coca-cola substitute in earth 42, the name of Miles's aunt, etc.

To make this clear: Is in quotes because none of these things really matter, there are details that a regular viewer wouldn't see anyway, but when you are an obsessed weirdo with an hyperfixation is kind of funny see a fic and be like "so did you study this movie like you are doing a thesis on it or are you normal?"
