My comic “The Adventures of Hank and Doug”, I created for Pratt Institute's Spring 2023 issue of Static Fish!
It’s basically just a revision of the opening scene from The Adventures of Jim and Tom with a couple changes to the story. I’m gonna upload this on Tumblr in three parts to break it up cuz I don’t want a single long post. If you have a couple minutes to spare, also check out my other stuff on jimmyli.squarespace.com! I really appreciate it :)
Some say its nothing but talk....

Forgot to post this! Heres a short comic I made a couple months ago where I was trying to experiment with a scene involving more action instead of just drawing people sitting around and talking. This stuff is really hard and time consuming, but fun to draw!

Meet The Artist 2022!
I shaved my head! Nothing else has changed. Coming up with lists of what I like and dislike is actually so hard. Coke Light was the only thing that I could think of off the top of my head, everything else was just painful. Anyways, if you’re an artist you should definitely do this, I love seeing these! So yeah, give it a try! Haha please

The Great Crash
It’s been exactly six years since I first started posting art online, so here’s the fourth (and final) illustration in my comet series! Not really sure what I aimed to do with this, I guess it’s experimenting with showing the progression of an event seen through multiple perspectives all connected through a comet (and Dr Pepper, for some reason). I’ll probably do something else next year. Until then, thanks for all the support!

Showdown at the Ruins
Sometimes I make these really big and detailed pieces to keep me busy and give my life some meaning for a good month. Anyways, here’s a visualization of some sort of final battle I’m thinking about.
