Can we just say how brave Aziraphale is in this moment. He doesn’t want to go back to Heaven, let alone without Crowley, and he actually says this while the Metatron is watching.
THEN he goes to Heaven without Crowley anyway. Because that was his decision. And he’s going to kick ass when he gets there.
After holding their emotions at bay, the floodgates opened. Tears escaped and sobs wracked through Muriel’s body. They weren’t able to say a word.
Crowley sat back and stared, perplexed by the ferocity of the onslaught of grief that he was witnessing. Muriel had only known this human for what, a week? How did they form an attachment that would cause them to react like this? “What are you doing?”
Muriel looked up, their eyes filled with tears. “I… I… dddon’t really… kn.. know,” speaking through sobs, their voice broke. “M..my eyes… j..just started d… doing this.”
IT'S DONE. Good Omens in Chronological Order is finished!
now i just need to watch it all through. If you would like to help (and speed up the process) by watching and checking some of it go to this post to read the full details. Annoyingly you need to have premier pro because it was easiest for me to do it on. If you want you can request to watch through a specific hour or so ie. All of Bildad the Shuhite Land of Uz or all of season 1 saturday if you're a masochist.
Crowley was sitting on a bench holding a newspaper that he wasn’t actually reading, but more using as a wall to avoid any particularly gregarious humans that might pass by. He needed some solitude and was not getting it in the bookshop. “Only one more day,” he thought to himself. He could handle their human visitor for one more day, could he not?
While the newspaper effectively kept the humans at bay, it was not as effective at keeping the legions of hell from paying him a visit. He sensed a presence before lowering his paper and looking at Shax. He sighed, raising the newspaper back up in a futile attempt to stop any potential conversation.
