ohhhhhhh the latest discovery episode was so good!!! i genuinely enjoyed every second of it omg i need to share some thoughts

!! major disco episode 04 spoilers !!

honestly loved this episode, i've been having mixed feelings on this new series so far but this one was so great. i loved seeing michael meet her old self, reminding us all where she started and where she ends up :') really fitting considering this is the last season! and the moment when she says that she remembers how hopeless she felt back then and how it felt impossible to even imagine herself becoming a captain but telling herself not to give up oh man...... i cried my eyes out... michael burnham i love you 🥺💖

and i even liked rayner in this one, i didn't like him at first but i guess that's the whole point of his character. he needs to grow and learn to be better and i love how the crew are the ones who are helping him change.

also airiam :( it was funny how we got a bit more backstory about some of the crew, which honestly would've been nice to find out in an episode, especially owo like she could've had a whole episode dedicated to us finding out that piece of her background. i do wish they would give the other members more screentime, after all this just proves how important they are.

and of course i let out the most absolute visceral scream when they namedropped lorca like AWWWWWWW YEA!!!!!!!!! first time we've heard any new piece of content for him since they namedropped him 19 times in terra firma episodes of season 3

and i really thought they were gonna bring him back, this absolutely would've been the best opportunity for him to make an appearance and i wonder if maybe they did plan it but maybe jason was busy, idk but gosh it would've been amazing if they did 😭 my mans will never return to me.... 😔 and when stamets was like "oh he's on an away mission right now", i literally wailed aksjkjsdhf but i love imagining what lorca would be like on an away mission, especially with saru and landry omg

i am Having thoughts about maybe writing that away mission into my fanfic.... having kiarya (my oc) join them!!!! but we'll see.... i'm still severely depressed and struggling with my writers block. i am also thinking about writing small drabbles about putting kiarya into this episode. this is a spoiler for her canon but she doesn't end up going with them to the future, so i keep thinking about stamets seeing her during one of the loops and hugging her because he misses her. and gets to say goodbye to her properly.... maybe even write one of michael and her meeting too... my head is full of thoughts!!! i doubt i will write them, or even publish them, i don't think anyone would want to read them but its fun to think about

anyway sorry for rambling but yeah i loved that episode... i really will miss this series so much 🥺
