Paranormal Circus and Travel Update
This blog is going to start off by saying that the Italian Paranormal Circus was badass. If you get a chance to see it (they travel and have shows all over) please give it a go. I was blown away by the showmanship and athleticism. We attended at the Aurora mall. They had a big black and white circus tent set up.
Now, for a travel update. Colorado has been good to me. I really enjoy the parks, the malls, and the sunshine. It's rained quite a lot since I've been here but that has kept the temperature on the cooler side for the most part. It's been... maybe 3 going on 4 months now that I've been here. Seems to be the road is calling me and I'm leaving for New Orleans in the next week or so. The French Quarter has been my home for over ten years now and I'm excited to return. Tentatively planning on going back to Pennsylvania after a few weeks in the Big Easy. I want to catch the end of yard sale season in Western PA.
Love you all. May blessings and love come your way.

My take on Rose Madder by Stephen King
I would like to announce that I have read a novel from cover to cover, ahem, round of applause, please? LOL But seriously, a bit of a possible spoiler alert here...
I just finished Rose Madder by Stephen King and I think this might be one of his best works. It really is in my opinion. How this one didn't make a blockbuster film, I'll never know, but maybe one is on the way...
To me, that rose madder color represented the color of a heavy amount of period blood, the uterine lining that sheds every month in preparation for a new lining to form and a chance to get pregnant again. Rose was detoxifying herself of her abusive husband.
I like how King acknowledged the anger that comes along with surviving domestic abuse. Few people who haven't been through it would be likely to understand, and it meant a lot to me that the book went there.
Five out of five stars, i HIGHLY recommend the book.

How we fill our cups....
OK, romance is a big part of the cups suit in tarot, I am not here to deny that. However, we do have other relationships in life giving us that joy to make life worth living. At least, we should. I have noticed increasingly the problem amongst myself and others, we will have our relationship and for whatever reason, maybe our partner is jealous, or maybe we just can't get enough of them and forget about our friends, our partner might be the only person we are really socializing with.
I value my friends; I take pride in looking after them. If distance is an obstacle, I do my best to reach out online and even will send the occasional snail mail. Every time I find myself single, I say the same thing.... "Being single is fun! I might as well just be single and take the effort I would put into a relationship and put it into my friends because they are the ones that are there in the end!"
Somehow, I've managed to find myself married again. My husband can be quite jealous but we are working through differences in philosophy.
I guess my point here is this: please remember to nurture all of your relationships, not just your romantic partner. Friends are very important. You need to be a friend to have a friend. If you want friends, act like a friend. They aren't just going to be appointed to you. Get out there and socialize!!

Cherry Creek Mall
Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Cherry Creek Mall in Denver, CO is just the way I remember a mall being when I was a kid. There were no empty stores and the place was full of people spending money. I've always loved the mall. In the past, Sarah (my childhood best friend) and I would spend hours on end at the various malls browsing everything they had to offer. We spent six hours in a Sephora one time. Sometimes we would spend a nice chunk of cash but if nothing called to us we wouldn't buy anything (don't think that ever happened at Sephora...). Just so many memories. Highly recommend hitting up the mall while you're in Denver if you get a chance to visit.

Emotional Healing
Healing involves remembering who we were in the past and who we really are. Think back to yourself before a trauma. How would you be navigating your path if the trauma hadn't happened? How did you respond to stimuli before you were hurt? Did you react differently to others in social situations?
Remember who you are.
Feel your pain. Acknowledge your pain. Experiencing sadness is an opportunity to understand our emotions. Just don't wallow in your pain. You don't have to live there. Visit long enough to feel it and move on.

We Moved
My husband and I moved from his dad's apartment in Aurora, CO to our own place on Colfax Ave in Denver, CO. We are renting a room at a motor lodge by the week and I couldn't be happier. I personally like living in a hotel. It fits the travel lifestyle. There is nothing wrong with leaving home. Do what is best for you. The universe will thank you.

I Don't Know Who Needs This....
BUT
I understand that sometimes things can seem hopeless when you don't see a solution right away. The truth is, you can be the most accurate psychic in the world and you still can't always predict what is going to happen because the wind blows differently and fate changes as we are creatures of free will. Just because you don't immediately recognize a solution to your problems doesn't mean there isn't one. At the same time, just because things seem stable and you don't anticipate any problems doesn't mean that things aren't going to change suddenly and everything comes crashing down out of nowhere. Somehow we manage.
Don't give up.
Don't lose faith in yourself.
I'm here if anyone needs to talk.

Tarot Card General Meanings
XXI The World
This card is the final card in the story of the major arcana. The World in tarot suggests a happy ending, everything in the sense of everything good and wonderful. This card is about dancing and joy. It's the reward of a life well lived. This card is our deepest desires given to us graciously and generously by the Gods. This card appears when you have lived your life and made mistakes but you have always come back from the darkness. The World means everything is wonderful but not necessarily that it always has been. These are the times that we are so grateful for, the times that make life worth living.
And they lived happily ever after.
If you aren't there yet, you will get there. It's in the cards for everyone. If you are there right now, express gratitude for that which is good in your life and don't take one second for granted. You never know when a tower moment is going to shake things up. To avoid a tower moment, maintain your stability, keep things in order in your life. Control the things you can, accept the things you can't, and know the difference for best results.
This card also marks the end of my take on the Major Arcana. Minor Arcana to come. I will also discuss how i read the cards personally, in case you're curious. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Reading tarot is an art. I have experience but theres no comparison between my methods and your own. Just because I do things a certain way doesn't make it right, but it doesn't make it wrong either and if you'd like to know how I do it I will tell you. I'd be curious to know how all of the people that read my blogs do it if they do, in fact, read tarot cards.
I hope you are enjoying these blogs, Tumblr! Someone should get something out of it eventually. In the meantime I'm enjoying doing this. I wish you all a very merry and productive Tuesday.
Love you all. You are all my children. There is nothing left in my heart but unconditional love and tranquility. I hope we can heal together and make the world a better place through acceptance and understanding.

Tarot Card General Meanings
XX Judgement
This particular card refers to a sort of final judgement similar to that which many people believe they will be faced with upon death. This isn't so much the libra type of judginess, this is more suggesting your wakefullness and awareness of yourself and mastery of yourself. Think, the word "woke" as it is used these days. This could be described as your enlightenment. Those working with balanced judgement in the tarot sense of this card could be described as being enlightened.

Tarot Card General Meanings
XIX The Sun
The Sun in tarot is usually a message communicating simplicity, protection, a loving home, innocence, honor, virtue, purity, youthful energy, and other such things.
If the moon represents the mother, the sun represents the father. This is paternal and masculine energy. (As far as astrology, Saturn could also represent paternal energies and in the tarot world, since we are discussing tarot here primarily, The Emperor could also give us a message about the father or paternal forces in our lives.
The Sun in tarot can give you a message about the end of hard times. "Here comes the sun, it's been a long cold lonely winter," the Beatles assured us. Was it the first track of the White Album? I can't remember but the song is a powerful message in my opinion that parallels a possible meaning for drawing The Sun in tarot.
Keep it simple. Communicate clearly. Don't be sneaky, don't be devious, just tell people what's going on. Be direct

Tarot Card General Meanings
XVIII The Moon
The moon represents secrets to be revealed. Perhaps we have been seeing things differently than they actually are, or even someone else has shaped a false reality.
The moon is a symbol of your intuition. Again, trust your intuition, you already know the answers that you seek.
The moon represents the mother, as the sun the father, and is the feminine concept of our home, the comforts of home, the level that we are cared for, and our private lives.
The moon changes sign every 2 days or so. It reflects the light of the sun to different degrees, depending on the phase of the moon. The new moon happens when it is mostly dark, there is no moon to be seen. This is still a powerful moon, arguably, the new moon could be more powerful than the full moon (always depending what you are trying to manifest and how you are going to harness the power of the moon) because the new moon while dark, is emanating lunar energy. When the sun is shining on the moon you see the part of the moon reflecting the light with the full moon appearing as a round moon that is completely illuminated from our point of view. When the moon reflects the light of the sun, the energy being emanated with now be that of the sun in addition to the lunar energy so there may be some competition between the solar energy and the lunar energy. The point here being you have to pay attention to the sign the moon is in as well as the phase so you can work your spells to cooperate with the energy being received by the Earth from the Celestial Bodies in our solar system.
The moon is very feminine. Most women menstruate on a lunar cycle. My last period happened to occur during the Full Moon in Scorpio during Taurus season last month. This is powerful feminine energy. When you are menstruating it might be a good time for feminine reset and careful meditation about your intentions so you can work with your divine feminine energy.
The moon is mysterious. A new romance could bring an exciting mystery that gives you those questions you ask yourself and wait for the reveal. Does she feel the same way? Only time will tell, and do we ever really know for sure? People often consult psychics for guidance in their romantic lives because things have a tendency to not be what they seem in relationships these days.
The Moon in astrology rules the sign of Cancer. Cancer is symbolized in astrology by the crab. I love my cancers. They are highly intuitive and sentimental. It's hard to get close to them but when they let you into their hearts they are very loving and caring and show the people they love a lot of concern. People with their natal sun in cancer are usually very personable. They get along well with others and work well with others especially in a public setting. They can be a little bit more difficult to live with. These humans are prone to having a spicy temper. Also, they are right a lot when they make intuitive predictions. However, as great as the accuracy is for them, it can work against them because they get used to being right and forget to check themselves and they might close off to the suggestion that they could be wrong.
I always reserve the right to be wrong. That is a concept I feel is important to talk about when we discuss The Moon in tarot because this is the very essential when it comes to reading the cards accurately. You must listen to your intuition when you read the cards. I am very good at reading tarot cards. I am confident in my readings and I have an extremely close relationship with my cards; I know the cards well, I can read reverse meanings, and I trust my instincts when it comes to reading them. In this very blog, I am rambling on about the meanings for all the cards off the top of my head, and if I wanted to make these blogs longer I could probably think of a lot more stuff to say about each one. That being said, I still read them wrong sometimes. I'll admit, it is not very often that I find that I read the cards wrong. There have been a handful of times that I realized my mistake hours, days, maybe even months, or much, much later. That's why the more you talk to me about your tarot questions, the easier it is for me to get a message. Sometimes I will face all my cards upright and not do reverse meanings just to get a more clear picture. Using 78 potential cards by only doing upright placements is fewer meanings than 156 potential cards to give a message. However, one could argue that more meanings is going to give you more specific messages and therefore easier to read... I personally find that doing my cards that way actually makes things more complicated and it's more difficult to be confident.
We have an intuition so we should use it. Like all things, we just need to keep it in balance. Doing stuff like reading tarot cards will help strengthen our intuitiveness.
Intuition is something we all have regardless of gender, even though it is something assigned to feminine energy. The Moon represents intuition, the dark parts of our mind, and great secrets to be revealed. Things may not be as they seem. The truth presents itself if you pay attention and seek truth. The sun will rise. Every night we are blessed by the moon and then every day we are cleansed and protected by the energy of the sun. The moon may be complex and mysterious while the sun is simple and has nothing to hide. Both celestial bodies are powerful forces in our reality on Earth.

Tarot Card General Meanings
XVII The Star
We have made it through some heavy parts of the story and here we find my favorite card in the deck, The Star. Usually represented in the picture by a naked lady that adds to the healing waters and takes nothing, The Star is a message about hope. There is always hope. We lose hope easily as humans. It has been said that hope was left in Pandora's box and we are lacking that emotion.
I am generally an optimistic person. I am sun in Sagittarius and I am annoyingly optimistic to some of my friends. I can always imagine a creative way that things could work out favorably. The way I see it, you can be the most accurate Miss Cleo fortune teller and give me a heads up about some horrible ending, but we all have free will and whether Miss Cleo warned me or not, fate can change for one stupid reason or another so I like to believe the better outcome will happen. Most people are generally pretty decent and we can't let the bad experiences we do have make us think that we are only capable of having bad experiences. Maybe we should just learn from the unfavorable outcomes and strategically operate to try to give us different outcomes. Every time I make a mistake I learn what could happen when that mistake is made and I adjust my behavior accordingly.
I just want to say this also, while we are on the subject of The Star: Naked Ladies are a wonderful gift from the Gods. I am a professional naked lady myself, as I worked as a stripper and burlesque star for going on 13 years (It will be 13 years in July). I think we all need to take a moment to appreciate naked ladies. I have seen a lot of people. I have seen a lot of faces. I have seen a lot of emotions. There have been times when people walk into my performance venue looking miserable and then the only time I see them smile is when my fellow naked ladies and myself are naked. It's not hurting anyone to appreciate the female form. I love Playboy and Penthouse magazines. Hustler is good, too. I love being a naked lady and I have so much love for my fellow naked ladies.
I'll never understand women hating on other women being sexy and beautiful and showing their bodies. I think a lot of it comes from insecurity and envy... perhaps a lack of understanding. I feel that there is room for everyone and if my husband appreciates another woman's beauty I am going to appreciate it with him because the fact that she is beautiful doesn't take away from my beauty.
However, I digress,
The Star is hope. Simply put, the Star is going to make your day better. The star is going to give you a reason to keep going, because you have hope, because you have faith, because you know that the trials and tribulations are temporary and we can improve the future by learning from our mistakes and our victories.
When you express gratitude and teach yourself to look for the best in any situation it gets easier if you are struggling. It's like anything else in life, good things happen when you work hard. If you make an effort and try to improve things they are more likely to improve than if we do nothing. Negativity can often times result in self fulfilling prophecy. If i don't think I can do something and I don't try because I didn't think I could do it, then I am definitely going to fail. If I am optimistic and think I have a chance at achieving a difficult goal, I'm going to give it a try. If I am successful then I gain confidence in my abilities and if I fail, I have gained experience and learned lessons that can be applied to navigating my path in the future.
There you have it, the hope after the storm knocked down your tower... you have hope because you are alive. Maybe you needed to come down from that tower. Sure, you were fed well, you had cable tv and high speed internet, a smart tv, a mac book, printed books to read, makeup to play with, shelter, and all the things that make a room a home complete with a garden jacuzzi tub and a comfy soft memory foam bed, but you were missing out on a lot of other things. When you were locked in the tower, it could have been the old story that you were placed there by an evil prince who wanted to keep you there as his play thing. You are safe in the tower but you have no chance of travel or having any relationships or interactions with other humans besides your captor. It might be a safe, comfortable life, but it might leave you spiritually unfulfilled. When the lightning struck the tower, it fell and you found yourself falling into some soft shrubbery that you were very lucky to have break your fall. You are alive and there is breath in your lungs so there is hope. After intense trauma from being held captive and also from the violent destruction of the tower, you are left with yourself to shape your destiny. You have survived and there is hope for a better life. There is hope for the future. The star is a card that will usually represent present time and a hope for the future or as a message that the future is work waiting for. In other words, the Star is Hope For The Future. Don't stop looking ahead but do not stress. Be present and comfortable in the time that you are in because you see promise of a bright tomorrow.

Tarot Card General Meanings
XVI The Tower
This is the chaos card, the catastrophe chard, and the unexpected lightning pace change of our reality.
Please do not fear the tower. The point of the cards is to help us untangle the dark parts of our minds. If you draw the tower in a way that suggests a message from the spiritual realm that you are about to have a tower moment, do not fear. You will be ready because you got this heads up more so than if not. Be a careful planner and make sure you always have the outcome that's best for you no matter what kind of chaos life throws at you. Tower moments are necessary in life. Sometimes you have to shake things up and make swift changes. Tina Fey has said "Yeah, I'm a bitch, but you know what? Bitches get stuff done"
If you are normally soft spoken and non-confrontational, then it's going to be kind of a big deal if you lose your shit and flip the fuck out. This can be a tower moment to shake things up and make necessary changes. There is a Christian Proverb that says "Good sense makes one slow to anger"
If you are slow to anger, you're going to let it build up a little. When something pisses you off but you get over it right away and it wasn't really that big of a deal, you're going to be embarrassed if you flip out over something trivial. Not only that, but you are going to disturb the peace of whoever is around. I feel especially bad for making an angry scene if dogs or children are around. They aren't going to understand and it's going to make them anxious.
Tower moments can be lots of things. Sudden loss of a job (catastrophe but maybe you find a better job) could be something that I would consider a tower moment. Basically things can be functional in our lives and everything is just going along smooth and mundane and predictable then one day you are faced with something you weren't even considering and you must make serious changes to your daily approach. Perhaps you are married for 20 years and in love for the whole marriage then find out your spouse has been secretly building a relationship with someone else and they leave you out of nowhere and you are just blindsided. Maybe you saved up a nice nest egg and have some money for the finer things and you suddenly are hit with the expenses of some medical treatment or maybe you are getting by paycheck to paycheck and suddenly have to evacuate your city or ride out a storm because there is a hurricane coming and you will have to figure out how to survive through the storm and rebuild a new life after the storm because the power was off for 2 weeks and it takes some businesses months to reopen and some never do... maybe your home was destroyed in the storm and that was a place you could be and not have outrageous expenses now you have to find a new place to live with money because you were paycheck to paycheck then this storm came and destroyed your home and took away opportunities to work. You could be a professional dancer that supports herself by performing and a random accident injures your foot while you are walking to the grocery store and step in a hole in the sidewalk and now you don't know how you are going to support yourself and need to dive into a new occupation.
Tower moments make us who we are. We remember the lessons of tower moments. If you are in a tower moment right now, it will pass. I know that might not help so much at the moment, and there might be some pain associated with this catastrophe that my words just will not do anything to alleviate, but maybe if i can just distract you with my thoughts, if i can give you some stuff to read and think about, I could get your mind off of your tower moment and for just a moment you could have some relief?
IDK. The tower is a very important card in the deck but it is not always looked at favorably by the person reading the cards.
Buckle up, butter cup. Easy there, cupcake. When it's over, you will be alive and you will have wisdom that will serve you well in your life.

Tarot Card General Meanings
XV The Devil
Please try to keep in mind that the devil not necessarily a "bad" card. None of this is good or bad, it just is. The devil will come across as malefic and maybe he is but he is functional in the story of our destiny. He makes the story interesting for sure.
The devil represents addiction, suffering, lust, wanting, greed, neglect, abuse, deception, extortion, toxic narcissism, anger, the things that bind us with chains and cause us pain. Toxic relationships in general, especially abusive romantic relationships. Relationships affected by drug addiction. Aspects of life affected by these problems that are very human and very commonly dealt with in the story.
The Devil rules the Earth. That is the conclusion that Martin Luther came to and i don't disagree. The Earth rewards corruption and the spiritual realm rewards virtue. That's why successful people in the Earthly sense are not necessarily virtuous and can cause a lot of problems for others.
We can offset suffering for ourselves and others by being mindful. Self care and consideration for others goes a long way here. If we remember to care about each other and care about ourselves we can get a grip on these concepts. Love all, trust few, hate none. Help others but make sure you are taken care of. Connect with other humans and show each other kindness. Virtue always wins in the end because the spiritual realm is very powerful. It is a struggle and it can be hard to shake the devil off.
At the end of the day, I think we have a better understanding of right and wrong than we let on... sometimes it's just necessary to ignore that conscience because the earthly realm requires certain things for survival and our feelings can be very troublesome also.
Usually we hurt each other either because we are trying to survive or if we are vengeful because we feel we have been hurt. Some people do seem to want to cause harm without reason, but these are the exception rather than the rule, I believe. I also believe the more kindness and consideration we show each other, the more we will see in others in the world. We all matter. Each and every one of us can make the world a better place. Start with yourself. If you make your day better, that is still making the world a better place for you at least because you are experiencing joy and you deserve to experience joy. If your cup is full, you can pour out to others. If your needs are met, you are more able to meet the needs of others. Don't think of poverty as a lack of resources and stuff for you as much as an inability to help others. If you can't cover your own expenses you can't help others. We need to pray for financial stability and work towards the goal so that we are not a burden on our friends and family and so that we can help others when they struggle from time to time as we have been helped. Everyone has been cared for at some point. No baby survived without being fed by an adult. Not to get too far off on a tangent, I just think these are things to think about when it comes to the Devil. Suffering is inevitable. If I'm not suffering I want to help someone who is because when I am suffering I will need help. If I help you I help myself. We are all sharing an ecosystem. The fact that we are not alone makes life more fun and those that we care about give us purpose.
Again, the Devil, not necessarily a bad thing. He is always there. I like to look at things from a more neutral perspective. Fear and hatred is not going to get us anywhere. What might actually help us along is understanding. Someone did once say to me "the most valuable thing in life is an understanding". now i don't necessarily know about all that, I'm sure I would rather be blissfully clueless about certain things just fine but i absolutely cannot survive on Earth without oxygen so idk... I get what he meant, though. So many things are swept under the rug because we have this shallow understanding of it and we think we know when in reality if we would keep an open mind we have a better shot at mastering ourselves and our manifestation of our reality as a result of operating in a way that is mindful of the shared experience as well as the more individual experiences that we are all going through to make up our personal story.
I have a little extra time and a little more philosophical mindset, so writing a tumblr blog gives me a chance to share some knowledge, share some insight, share some of my life for those that are curious. This is something that is beneficial for my overall satisfaction in life right now but also it could offer some entertainment for someone who is bored and looking to read someone else's thoughts. I might share a fact or a viewpoint that someone gets something out of. This is functional, positive, mentally healthy for me and someone else might get something from it. What does that have to do with the devil? I feel it's through simple things like this that the devil will ultimately lose. I believe in humanity. I believe that it is sick and twisted but there are also those of us that are more self aware and more aware of the situations of others that offset the work of the devil. When we care about each other we have an effect that counteracts the works of the devil and we suffer less.
Be Kind.
The devil is everywhere.
Balance must be kept.
It can't be all Tanqueray and unicorns.
I also want to mention that I have not entered into a pact with the devil. I would never do business with the devil. I prefer to work from the standpoint of being on the same team as the spiritual realm, which is at war with the devil basically. Everyone wants our souls. Those that love you or maybe just dead people that like you will reach your soul from the spiritual realm while the devil works from a place of darkness where corruption is rewarded.
Am I good witch or a bad witch? I'm a good witch. I want to lessen the suffering of others if I can while still making sure my cups stay full. I do my shadow work but only for self mastery. I do my best to put light energy out there, to show people love and kindness. I'm not perfect but I try to keep my practice in check and manifest my reality with a very intentional approach.

Tarot Card General Meanings
XIV Temperance
Temperance is a balancing act, controlling one's temper for example in an emotional sense. Temperance referred to the prohibition of alcohol and keeping people from losing their wits getting drunk.
In the most basic sense, I believe temperance is your self control. It's your ability to indulge in one cupcake and not eat the whole tray of cupcakes.
