Silver Notes info
My home boys birthday today shoutout much love! Finally got this damn tumblr back up, it’s been a minute. I know as fans you want more and I’ve been lagging/lacking in every area, but it’s all gonna change. This site is going to start being utilized, and music is going to start to circulate. I’ve had enough of just chilling in the lab writing & recording. It’s time to have fun. First and foremost Silver Notes.. it’s done, it’s been done. The only issue I’m having is getting the artwork. My graphic design guy has been so busy with other projects that he just hasn’t had the time to do it. I would explain it to you guys but I think it’d be more fun to wait and be surprised. Once that’s done the album will drop. I’m thinking I’m gonna put it on SoundCloud for now. Ya’ll don’t realize there are tons of laws I could be breaking.. I got the rights for most of them but I can’t stick Silver Notes up on iTunes & Spotify without all the tracks. I may throw a couple more up, but we gon ride with SoundCloud for now. Also anyone who ever wants a hard copy you’re more then welcome to contact me and get one! I’ll send em anywhere you need. Always thankful for the support. Much Love.

“The Mash Up ll” Is the 2nd installment to the Mash Up series. The mixtape dropped in February of 2013. “The Mash Up ll” was originally supposed to be named “Modern Classics”. Jay had gotten back to work after the first mixtape in 2012. He produced and rapped on tons of tracks that year. The intentions were to drop another mixtape within 6 months after “The Mash Up”. The pressure was a lot, but the mixtape got finished. After letting it sit for a couple weeks though Jay decided to scratch it. Still determined to keep the music coming Jay dropped another mash up of his best work in those 8 months. Which is what you have here.
Fun Fact: “Modern Classics” is still a mixtape in the vault with 20+ tracks. Who knows, maybe we’ll hear it one day.

Json Josef's 1st mixtape and installment to “The Mash Up” series. Dropped in the summer of 2011. The idea with this mixtape was to put out all the music Jay had been working on since the beginning in 2008. He did this to give his fans the real him from the jump no filter. It is simply a mash up of his beginning work hence the title of the mixtape.
