Little ramble about us below!
Kinda wanna go a little into this character. Dogma is a demon! Or at least apart of interpretation of demons based on a mix of lore around many abrahamic religions demons, like Jewish demons, as well as pulling inspiration from faeries and fae. “Demon” in the stories setting is kind of a false word they go by but they don’t understand what everyone else’s understanding of what the word demon entails. Their existence have been heavily misconstrued! they aren’t like classic Christian demons from hell, they’re much more akin to mischievous but loving ancestors of the human race. I like to compare them to prehistoric wolves, if current day humans are like domestic dogs these are what came before us and are now like wolves so distantly related. They have no harmful intentions but they can harm in their actions. They’re focused on the emotions of human beings, like deep locked away raw unfiltered emotion and desire and they have a deep attachment and love to humans, which can be so intense it causes them to cause a little havoc around humans… unchecked desires and emotion can grow too big and out of control which is the downfall of the demons. Often they convince humans to forget themselves, laws and moral law when they become too unhinged and over consumed in themselves
