Hi are you based in Poplar? That's where I live! Love your photos of the Brownfield Estate.
Thanks very much. Poplar is very cool. Not only the Brownfield Estate but also Aberfeldy Street, Hale Street and, of course, most of all the Chihuahua.
I'm not quite from Poplar but close- the place where spooked, runaway military horses are eventually stopped!

The Tate and Lyle sugar refinery and its jetty in Silvertown as seen from the other side of the River Thames.
Apparently approximately 25% of the UK's sugar is offloaded and refined here. Inside there is a huge secret sugar mountain.

The predominantly blue and yellow coloured Tate and Lyle Sugar refinery in Silvertown, London
This is actually a different site to the white coloured Tate and Lyle Golden Syrup factory which is also in Silvertown.
This photo was originally posted by me as Day 2099 on An Every Day Thing.

Tate and Lyle factory in Plaistow Wharf, Silvertown where more than one million tins of Lyle’s Golden Syrup are made...every month!
A slight departure for LondonEdge in that I have now decide to include industrial sites. The Tate and Lyle's factory in Silvertown in East London is the first.

Glenkerry House (so not Balfron House for a change), Poplar
That said, Glenkerry House is on the opposite side of the road to Balfron House and was also designed by Erno Goldfinger in the 1960s. Glenkerry House can be thought of as Balfron House's baby brother/sister

Another photo of Balfron Tower in Poplar because it's just an amazing piece of 1960s brutalist architecture
