I have...thoughts about today's chapter. I'm not a fan of Deku getting to wail away on on Shig/AFO and be the first to deal real visible damage after so many tried before him (Bakugo, Mirko, Jeanist, Amajiki, Nejire to name a few). And that ignores the colossal effort from Mirio distracting Shig/AFO and then calming Deku.

Then to have Deku/the vestiges of OFA claim that it's because of their hearts and intentions that he's that strong? Uhh???? As if it didn't take 7 quirks combining multiplicatively to deal substantial damage to Shig/AFO, LITERALLY DESCRIBED as warping the laws of reality??? I just don't love that. It sounds and looks cool, but it undermines all the previous heroes as not having the 'heart' or 'intention'.

I dunno, I don't see anything major changing before Deku's 5 minute time window is up, or if we finally hop to other fights (Spinner?!) that lead to even more developments. Feeling a little...whelmed about it all.

(I still wrote 2k words + outlines for a possible sequel anyway so I could get it down on paper now)

Two more photos that were influential for me when I was thinking about Shouto's sword in Knights & Dragons! Both originate from Destiny 2 where (you probably guessed it), I'm a Warlock player and see these on a regular basis.
