"The fact that they cut out the scene where Donnie learns he DIES in the future really sucks. I get that they probably had to cut it for time or something like that but at the same time, all of the futures of the turtles were simultaneously important in my opinion. "I feel like one of Rise and most fandom's problems is that I think a great percent of fandom is always young, impressionable minds whether they're kids or chronically online teens that are not mature enough to realize to let things let live or learn how to ignore something they don't like.

There's times to speak up on serious issues but I believe that certain opinions and beliefs should be expressed on real-world issues on real people instead of a fictional world and fictional characters.

Consume media properly, kiddos and learn to filter and stop purposely seeking out content you'll be upset about. It's not the end of the world if people want to be romantic with a literal talking mutant ninja turtle. Go after the real creeps lurking and talking to real minors. Don't blame the media since the way one reacts to the media they consume is the one at fault and not the one that posts."

Fandom Problem #4751:

The way some people go "I hate this character, therefore they MUST be straight and homophobic" is honestly just childish and super unnecessary. Even worse when these same people get mad when you don't agree it. Even if the character is canonically straight, you just can't they're a canon homophobe without proof just because you don't like them.

Listen, I understand that the handling of a queer relationship being "rushed" isn't always the writers fault, maybe they WANTED to do more but they're dealing with network censorship, yada yada. The thing is I could understand and appreciate what they were TRYING to do but it still doesn't mean I HAVE to like it. Sorry, but a hetero pair with a strong bond is better to me than a gay pair where both people feel like strangers to each other.
