Hi, I would like your opinion on Venus in 5h in D9 chart and 7h lord in 12h in D1.
Thank you! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ
Hey! β€πŸ’«
I can't interpret D9 alone, need the same D1 placements too and mentioning your ascendant is important for every placement so that I know which house ruler is that particular planet in your chart or mention the planet name (i.e, moon in 4H). I wouldn't be able to guess who is your 7H ruler without your asc. Send questions in this manner in another ask. Hope you understand dear, have a good day!

Hi hello I’ve been looking into getting more into Vedic astrology and I’m curious about a placement I think is my favorite, Any information would be appreciated thanks
What do you have to say about a Sharvana moon in the 5th house?
Again thank you so much if you answer I hope you’re having a great day!!! ✨✨✨
Hey issiah! β€πŸ’«
Shravana moon in 5H:
Individuals having this moon placement are highly creative and have a childlike tendency/vibe. Shravana star is ruled by the moon which adds up to the creativity and they may have multiple hobbies. At one point of time they would think of changing their hobbies into their main profession. Since the moon is in Capricorn, it may give you the tendency to calculate risks before deep diving into something new. Your Capricorn cautiousness is quite the opposite to the jolly nature of the 5H moon, so at times you may feel being dragged between taking risks spontaneously and taking careful steps. You may be slow to fall in love but you fall too hard once you do. If other planetary positions also support this, you can be a person who wants long term relationships and gives much importance to family. You would love kids or want to have more kids and you may have exaggerated expectations about your partner (like a fairytale love story) which can get you into disappointment when you don't control your emotions.
This is what I think about the shravana 5H moon in short, if you have any specific doubts feel free to put it in ask or DM because some sentences mentioned above can change depending on your other planetary position.

Hey, Hun! I would like to see posts on your opinion on D-1 & D-9 chart. Differences between both charts yet how, they're related. Thank you. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™
Hey dear! β€πŸ’«
I would randomly share what I know about D1 and D9 here:
D1/rasi chart is used for all kinds of general interpretations and D9 is a part of D1 that is specifically used to make interpretations on the person's marriage life and prosperity. D9 is a rather deeper insight about a person and their transformation in life than being just a tool in marriage matching.
D9 is said to be more prominent in the later stages of an individual or the second part of their life which basically matches with the universal marriage age group. It's because D1 is the reality we live in, D9 is our actual inner being, more like a subconscious mind. We mature and unleash our inner self when we grow older, we tend to try fitting in when we are younger.
We wouldn't be able to differentiate between what we think we want vs what we actually want, what we think we are vs what we actually are, these are the differences between D1 and D9. We explore ourselves and find that the only way out is IN. That's why D9 is said to be activated in the second part of a person's life.
(This is my perspective and NOT an actual thing from any books I know of, so you can ignore this thought if it doesn't resonate with you)
Coming to ACTUAL astrology part of D9, few points to note:
D9 is majorily used to find out the actual strength of the planets in D1 chart. If some planet is strong in D1 but becomes weak in D9, the favorable results cannot take place. Also, drishti or planetary aspects DOES NOT apply to D9 or any other divisional charts. Planetary aspects are only for D1 charts. D9 should be read along with D1, it should NOT be considered as an individual chart to make predictions. Any predictions you pick up from D1, the accuracy of that is dependent on the analysis of same placement in D9 chart. There are two important terms to remember when it comes to reading between D1 and D9 charts, to check the strength of planet-
1.Bhavottama- Planet in same HOUSE NUMBER in both D1 and D9. Ex: Sun in 5H in D1 and Sun in 5H in D9 regardless of any change of ascendants between the two charts.
2. Vargottama- Planet in same ZODIAC SIGN in both D1 and D9.
Vargottama is said to be more auspicious and stronger than bhavottama but if both are present, the individual will attain positive results of the planets in their planetary periods and during the second half of their life. Important point to note is that these two things must happen either in the Kendra (1,4,7,10) or Trikona (1,5,9) houses and preferably planets should not be present in enemy signs.
Btw thank you for asking this thought provoking question dear! πŸ’•

Hello. How are you? I hope, You're doing well. I'm excited to see more posts on vedic astrology! I would like to know, what made you interested in astrology? What are your beliefs on astrology? Hope you have a lovely time in this community and on this app! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•
Hey hun! β€πŸ’«
I'm fine, thank you for asking, I hope you're doing well too!
My initial interest in astrology was because my family is full of astrologers, especially the older generations. I had the privilege to go through the books and listen to them, that was influential in my life to discover what I like.
My belief in astrology is having certain morales to be followed, like we shouldn't try to predict someone's death or related things. I respect other astrologers and their knowledge, I believe that being a learner in astrology no matter how much you know, helps in your development. Personally I don't like to delve deep into future predictions, because I'm still improving in that field and future readings shouldn't be taken that much seriously, your life happenings are ultimately a fruit of your actions is my own belief.
I started liking and learning astrology only to decode people's personalities, now I'm learning about predictions too but I would like to stay grounded in that area. I'm also waiting to unfold my astrology journey and see how it goes, that's all about my interest and beliefs in astrology! ☺
Thank you for your support hun, it is motivating! ❀

Hi,
Thank you so much for informing me that I can send a question here in your asks.
I still consider myself a newbie when it comes to vedic astrology so I just wanted to know your general opinion about my placements(if you can throw in some career suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated):
Anuradha Scorpio Sun 1st house 10Β°
Ashlesha Moon 9th house 18Β°
Jyeshta Scorpio Rising 23Β°
Uttara Phalguni Leo Midheaven 27Β°
Should I put the lowest degree and highest degree planet fpr funsies?
Lowest : Mercury Moola Sagittarius 0Β° 2nd
Highest : Venus Chitra Virgo 25Β° 11th
When i read about about Ashlesha moon, it answered all of the questions that my Leo moon western astrology couldn't answer.
I hope my question is okay(?)
Thank you for letting me ask.
Tumblr media
Hey boo! β€πŸ’«
It's gonna be a long post :)
Let's explore ur placements one at a time-
Scorpio rising (Jyeshta, 23Β°):
Scorpio rising kids would've been born to their parents when they were going through a comparatively rough phase. As a jyeshta rising, u will be calculative and have a way with your words as jyeshta star is ruled by mercury. People will admire you for the choice of your words and the politeness in your tone. Ur degree placement is in Aquarius which makes u look pretty intelligent to the world. Simply put, sign ruler (mars) will make you determined and passionate, star ruler (jyeshta) will make u strategic and clever, degree (23Β°) will give u out of the box thinking and the trait to form good interpersonal relationships. These combinations can also end up in over confidence or disregard people who are not up to the scale of intelligence u have (Be conscious about this boo if it's relatable in ur case)
Scorpio sun (Anuradha, 10Β°):
Your 10H ruler is in first house which can make you daydream about being a boss. You are career oriented and don't like to climb the ladder, you would dream about being on the top as soon as you enter into professional life. Scorpio sun in 1H can also give u bit of headweight and know it all attitude, even though you don't propaganda it openly, it can sometimes show up in your behavior, you should be conscious about that. Your sun in anuradha star shows that u possess good leadership qualities and the perseverance to put in consistent hardwork. You're a diplomatic person, it can be affected by your overwhelming emotions at times but your external demeanor will manage it very well . You also have Capricorn degrees, which adds more to your goal oriented and bossy qualities. Overall it seems like your sun placement is THAT pack, creating the burning desire of success inside you.
Cancer moon (Ashlesha, 18Β°):
You have moon in it's own house, 9H moon is also a lucky placement. You may have strong orthodox religious beliefs and enjoy reading/experiencing spirituality. You may travel for gaining wisdom on spiritual endeavors. You're an emotional person but your ashlesha star gives you a control over it, u know when to strike and when not to. As a mercury ruled star, ashlesha will develop your curiosity on knowing yourselves and decoding your own self. You can be creative and imaginative, particularly talented in writing (maybe poems?!). You could have had a secret diary which u might have hidden or threw away, getting scared of people reading it (The point is you might have written your emotions, that could've been your major outlet). You have 18Β°, which can make you more introverted and patient.
I tried to cover up as much as I could but it would be better if you can split up questions in the ask so that it will be easier to answer one by one and in more detail for each boo, I hope this answer helps you a bit! πŸ€—
I didn't touch anything career related as I need more information (whole chart) and time (at least a week) to sit and process. I hope you understand and thank you for your ask.πŸ˜‡
Feel free to ask any more queries or give feedback! I'm open to constructive criticisms bcoz that's the only way we grow.πŸ’•

Hey Sweeties! β€πŸ’«
I just wanted to let you guys know a few things before going through this teeny-tiny astro page
I am open to astrology asks all the time but I know only vedic astrology, so my answers would be related to that. (I cannot randomly say something in western astro because I respect the people who wholeheartedly learned it)
THIS IS MY SECOND ACCOUNT, so I don't prefer replying to comments , I'm planning to make this my only account but until then, kindly don't expect replies in the comment section.
I like to consider myself a learner, so you're always welcome to DM your natal chart and ask a few questions.(Only if you're comfortable, also pls hide your personal details)
While sending in asks about your placements, ask only 1 or 2 placements per ask, if you have more questions, kindly split it into separate asks so that it will be easier to concentrate on one thing at a time.
I love to interact with people and discuss astrology, so friendly conversations are highly appreciated. I would always answer all your DM's and asks whenever time and situation permits me to do so. (Pretty pls to have some patience and understanding ☺)
That's all for now to know, thank you for your patience and attention if u have reached till this!

Hello everyone! β€πŸ’«
Sun in 9H :
Sun in 9H individuals have strong moral/religious beliefs which they follow ardently. They are highly opinionated and strong headed. These people may feel lucky in physical injuries, they might be the least hurt one in an accident (lmao that's crazy). It's because 9H is the house of luck/fortune and sun is the soul/vitality/strength of every individual, so it bestows an innate luck in escaping injuries.
They can also have great mentors in life, their father plays an influential role in the development of their morals and boundaries during their early stages of life itself. They could blindly follow their dad in building up their perspectives (sun is strong in the natal chart) or just oppose every word he utters (sun is weak in natal chart).
They will opt for higher education and can even work in teaching professions when this 9H sun has favorable aspects with the 10H ruler. They are adventurous and love to travel. Their profession or hobby may make them travel short trips from time to time.
They have an inert ability to grasp and learn new languages easily (ngl most of them are multilingual). If they are from religious backgrounds, they will be scholarly in that (ie.knowing lots of quotes from their religious texts). They find it hard to be flexible and open minded, their values are rigid and they're not afraid to put forth it boldly. They could've studied well in universities compared to early learning stages (schools).
Things they love: Learning new languages, variety of cultural differences, traveling, people who possess wisdom and creativity rather than bookish intelligence.
Things they hate: They are bad at handling criticisms, routine life, bad mentors (because they have so much respect for mentors, if someone is not fit for the role, they feel pretty annoyed about that), unjust people (even if it's something negligible, they want everything to be done in a lawful manner)
This is a post on what popped up in my mind just now, I may write more on the same topic also when I gather the thoughts on my mind.

Hello Everyone! πŸ€πŸŒ™
I read a vedic astrology book recently and i'm here to share something that I found to be interesting. 🧚🀯
Vedic astrology says that the degrees of fixed zodiac have a permanent relation with star points and that movable zodiac can't provide us a definite position both for observation and experiment and arrive at logical conclusions. So they are advocating Nirayana positions of planets for all predictive purposes. πŸ‘€πŸ˜Œ
An ancient vedic astrologer states that in his time, the summer solstice coincided with first degree of cancer and winter solstice with first degree of capricorn, whereas at one time the summer solstice coincided with the middle of Aslesha nakshatra. πŸ‘οΈπŸ§
The exact period when both the zodiacs coincided in the first point is not known and accordingly the ayanamsa (precessional distance) varies from 19Β°-23Β°. πŸ˜‡β˜ΊοΈ
The star which marked the first point is believed to have disappeared, but there are also other beliefs which says that it is 11 east of the star Pisces. A number of dates are given as the year of coincidence like 361 AD, 394 AD, 498AD, 559AD etc. These years maybe speculations with no solid proof but is intriguing to the astrological community, to decipher such curious questions created from the cosmos.🀯🀍
Note: This is a piece of information shared after reading a vedic astrology book, I do not own this info. 🧚

Hello Everyone! πŸ€πŸŒ™
This a short post on different types of Solar and Lunar Yogas in Vedic astrology.
🌞🌟The solar Yogas include:
Veshi yoga
Vashi yoga
Ubhaychari yoga
🌝✨The lunar Yogas include:
Sunfa yoga
Anfa yoga
Durudhara yoga
β˜€οΈ Incase of formation of a solar yoga, the planets involved in forming that particular yoga should NOT be in-conjunct or present in the same house as moon, north node or south node. 🌞
πŸŒ• Incase of formation of a lunar yoga, the same applies. Planets involved in forming that particular yoga should NOT be in-conjunct or present in the same house as sun, north node or south node. 🌝
The formation of these yogas and it's effects will be discussed in short in upcoming posts. If you need a detailed version of solar and lunar yogas, do let me know in the comment section.⚑

Hello Everyone! πŸ€πŸŒ™
This is a post on Dharma Karmadhipati Yoga ✨
Dharma Karmadhipati Yoga takes place when the lords of 9H and 10H are in mutual exchange or has positive aspects with each other. But this Yoga is powerful only when the lords of 9H and 10H are in conjunction and present in the 10H without any other malefic planet present in the same house.
9H= House of dharma
10H= House of karma
This Yoga is one of the powerful Yogas one can have in their birth chart as 9H is the highest of trikona houses and 10H is the most powerful of kendra houses. πŸ₯°πŸ’₯
The degree of conjunction between 9th and 10th lords should be closer and in-conjunct to form a stronger Yoga. The more closer degrees they have, more powerful yoga is formed. πŸ”₯
The lords of 9H and 10H shouldn't be debilitated in the navamsa chart (D9). Effects of the yoga are greatly decreased or nullified if the 9th and 10th lords are in unfavorable positions in divisional charts like D9 and D10. οΏ½οΏ½
This Yoga will bestow the individual with favorable results in the mahadashas (major planetary period) or antardashas (sub planetary period) of 9H and 10H lords. 😊
Effects of Dharma Karmadhipati yoga:
It gifts the individual with the right sense of direction and responsibility in their life. They are highly involved in charitable deeds, can be very affectionate and kind hearted. When the lord of Dharma (duty) is combined with lord of Karma (actions), the native knows their duty & purpose and performs it with full dedication in a right path always. It can make the person lead masses, manage successful businesses and earn from multiple sources/jobs. 🀩🌟
The effect of this Yoga is subject to change according to the conjunction of other planets with the 9H and 10H lords or negative aspects.
Note: Refer Vedic birth charts to interpret these informations.

Hello Everyone! πŸ€πŸ’«
This is a random post on astrology stuffs that pops in my mind rn 🧠
There's always a misconception about Budhadhitya Yoga. Budhadhitya yoga is formed due to the conjunction of sun and mercury. It bestows the individual with quick grasping power, intelligence, respected and admired in the society and opportunities to get settled in government positions. The catch is- This yoga is formed only when the distance between the sun and mercury is between 12-15 degrees. Combustion of mercury with sun takes place between 0-5 degrees, which doesn't give rise to any yoga and also damages the qualities of mercury. πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ“šβœ’οΈπŸ’ͺ
If we take a look at the solar system, sun and mercury are the closest to each other and it's pretty common to have them in the same house in your birth chart. So simply having sun and mercury in the same house doesn't mean you're gonna end up in a government job. 🧐
(Sorry to break this illusion πŸ™Š)
Also the sun in aries:
Sun is in exalted position if it's placed in Aries. Again having an exalted sun is determined by it's degrees and not just by the Aries sign. Sun is perfectly exalted at 15Β° and can be considered as exalted if it's between 12-15 degrees. Aries sun in other degrees doesn't mean the native has an exalted sun. Exalted sun is said to bless the individual with Good health and fast recovery, long life, stamina, respected and admired positions in the society, government jobs, jobs in legal and administrative fields, brave, energetic and optimistic personality. β™₯️🌟
But you may have come across many aries suns who doesn't belong to the above mentioned criteria of personality traits and job positions and it's completely OKAY, as every individual has their own personality, life and karma. They maybe reserved, in a low paying job, sick and depressed, but they ARE aries suns too. Their big three or stelliums can mask their aries sun or their sun is not actually exalted as they believe (due to degrees). πŸ‘€πŸ˜Œ
The end point is there is not only one thing to consider when analyzing a planet position in a birth chart, it is influenced by various other factors and those should be taken into careful consideration too. πŸ’«πŸ˜‡
Note: Kindly refer Vedic birth charts to interpret these information.

Hello Everyone! πŸ€πŸŒ™
This is a post on Neecha Bhanga Rajayoga πŸŒ•πŸŒ‘
This Yoga can be quite confusing to newbies but i'll try to make it easier to understand.
Neecha= Debilitation
Bhanga=Cancellation of that Debilitation
Raja yoga= An auspicious yoga caused by the cancellation of a debilitated planet
Neecha Bhanga Raja yoga can be divided into two parts, where only the Debilitation of a planet is cancelled (1) and where that cancelled Debilitation also confers to an upliftment in the native's life by giving birth to a rajayoga (2). πŸŒ™
Some of the most difficult placements to have in birth charts are planets in debilitated signs. Planets go into Debilitation when the nature of the house is completely opposite to the nature of the planet.
(I'll make a separate post on planets, it's Debilitation signs and their degrees)
Here's an example of the most talked debilitated planet, Moon. Moon is at it's weakest when it's in Scorpio. Debilitation of moon is more talked about in the astrological community than any other planets as moon signifies our emotional stability and everything connected to our psyche. πŸ¦‚πŸŒ•
Some general rules applied to this yoga include:
Presence of parivartana yoga. Parivartana yoga is exchange of planets. Ex: Moon's Debilitation gets cancelled if mars is in cancer. Scorpio moon and cancer mars are an example of parivartana yoga as the lords of the houses exchange between themselves.
When the house lord is conjunct with the debilitated planet or has positive aspects. Ex:If Mars is conjunct with scorpio moon or aspects it.
The abovementioned conjunction of house lord with debilitated planet also satisfies another rule, where the Debilitation is cancelled if the weakened planet is present with another exalted planet. Every planet is stronger in their own house and can be considered exalted along with their exaltation sign.
These are some of the most common and less complicated rules but there are some more rules that apply to a cancellation of debilitated planet in a birth chart.
This comes to the second part of forming the rajayoga:
Neecha Bhanga raja yoga is formed when the cancellation of debilitated planet happens following the above rules, while being placed in the kendra houses (ie. 1,4,7 or 10) from either the ascendant or the moon. πŸŒ•
A question may arise, whether to consider the ascendant or moon while calculating the kendra houses in the above paragraph. The answer is, we should consider the stronger one. For most part, ascendant is considered but the position of moon can be counted as the first house if the native's ascendant is very much weakened. πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
This is just a pinch of a complex yoga. I've taken Scorpio moon as an example of debilitated planet to explain this yoga for the sake of convenience, if you wish to know about every planet's Debilitation in-depth, let me know in the comment section. Some more details of this yoga and other ones will be discussed in the upcoming posts. Stay tuned! πŸ«‚πŸ€
The working efficiency of a debilitated planet can either be more depleted or somewhat increased by the conjunction/aspects of other planets.πŸ’ͺ
Note: Kindly refer Vedic birth charts to interpret these informations.

Hello Everyone! πŸ€πŸŒ™
This is some Yogas in your birth chart and their significance- Part 2
4. Bhadra Yoga- This happens when Mercury is positioned in it's own house (ie. Gemini, Virgo) and is in Kendra houses (1, 4, 7 & 10).
A person with Bhadra yoga in their birth chart will be bestowed with intelligence and quick grasping powers. They are skillful in handling business and in multi-tasking. They inherit wealth and can be extraordinary orators, but they are prone to overthinking. πŸ§ πŸ“šπŸ‘©β€πŸ«πŸŽ“
5. Sasa Yoga- This Yoga is when Saturn is either positioned in it's own house (ie. Capricorn, Aquarius) or in Exaltation (Libra) and is placed in Kendra houses from the ascendant (ie. 1,4,7 & 10).
Natives with Sasa yoga in their birth chart will be very hardworking and sincere by nature. They can get to the top rank in career more easily by saturn's blessings. They have better immunity. They are charitable, especially they will donate to religious deeds. They can achieve success in legal, teaching and spiritual fields. πŸͺ–πŸ› οΈπŸ‘©β€βš–οΈβ˜―️
I have completed all 5 of the Pancha mahapurusha Yogas with this post and the previous one. The next post will probably be some other more interesting yogas or deeper concepts of determining the presence/strength of yogas in birth chart. Stay tuned!πŸ€—
All the above mentioned Yogas are subject to change depending upon their strength. The strength of the yogas are determined by the aspects and conjunctions of other planets, degrees of the concerned planet and the ascendant ( Each ascendant has it's own functional benefic and malefic planets).πŸ’«
Note: Kindly refer vedic birth chart to interpret these informations.

Hello Everyone! πŸ€πŸŒ™
This is my first post, so kindly bear with me πŸ€—
Some Yogas and their significance in your birth chart- Part 1
1. Malavya Yoga- This happens when Venus is positioned in 4th, 7th or 10th house from ascendant, or placed in the ascendant. The sign of the above mentioned houses should be venus ruled (ie. Taurus or Libra). Venus placed in it's own sign in any of the houses mentioned, gives the gift of Malavya yoga to the native.
This Yoga blesses the person with attractive physique, appealing to opposite gender, materialistic comforts and luxury. This strong venus can also make the person talented in venus aspects (ie. Fine Arts, Drawing, Fashion etc.) πŸ₯°πŸ’„πŸ‘ΈπŸ’ƒπŸ’
2. Ruchaka Yoga- This Yoga is when Mars is positioned in it's own house (ie. Aries, Scorpio) or in capricorn (Exalted). Mars should be placed in any of the kendra houses (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th).
This Yoga blesses the native with strong, athletic physique and courageous attitude. They will have luck favor them in terms of land (real estate). This strong mars can make the native be inclined towards career in sports and defence forces. πŸ˜ŽπŸ’€πŸ‘©β€βœˆοΈπŸͺ–πŸ€Ί
3. Hamsa Yoga- This Yoga is when Jupiter is positioned in it's own house (ie. Sagittarius, Pisces) or in Cancer (Exalted). Jupiter placed in any of the kendra houses (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) increases the strength of the yoga.
This Yoga makes the native a noble and trustworthy personality who are involved in charitable and religious deeds. They can worry much about the underprivileged and contribute from their side. It blesses the person with tremendous luck and wisdom. πŸ§ πŸ«‚πŸ˜‡πŸ“šβ˜―οΈ
I have covered three of the pancha mahapurusha Yogas in part 1. This is just a briefing, the actual strength of the Yogas depends on the aspects and conjunctions with other planets, degrees of the concerned planet and the ascendant of the native (there are functional benefics and malefics for every ascendant)
Deeper informations regarding formation of Yogas will be discussed in upcoming posts. Stay tuned !
Note: Kindly refer Vedic birth charts to interpret these informations.
