your art is so pleasing to look at I wanted to ask, is the texture of your coloring done digitally? if so, do you use a texture overlay or is it a specific brush you use? id love to experiment with a traditional look like that myself

thank yoiuu!! yes, all my art is digitalart. i'm not really sure how to explain the way i get texture in my art, but part of it is the brushes i use and a lottt of texture overlays. i don't have any specific brush that i use, though. i just use what looks nice. i prefer using brushes that already have a lot of texture to them

i try to approach digital art the same that i would traditional. i don't really use things like the liquefy tool or the fill tool. i do all my colouring by hand. if something looks out of place, i'll (sometimes) redraw it instead of using the transform tool. i don't think doing that's really necessary for getting a traditional look, but i personally have fun doing it.

i draw everything in clip studio paint, but, most of the time, when i'm done painting, i'll export my file into another art program (Rebelle Pro) to get paintstroke textures. i feel like thats also important to mention. but again, rebelle isn't necessary to get a traditional look either; i was drawing like this long before i ever had rebelle.

i feel like this is such an unhelpful answer(?) but textured brushes and texture overlays are mostly what i use. if you play around enough with it, it begins to look at least a little similar to traditional art
