I’m glad I got that cleared up. BTW the anonymous inquirer was me, for anyone who cares; I just accidentally forgot to log in before asking.

On Page 11 of the Mask of Light translation, "argue" seems to be translated as "dispute". But isn't dispute just English? Also, on Page 5, "undisputed Kohlii-champions" is translated as "amauro-fakhu". I find myself unable to trace that compound word's etymology, and shouldn't the word Kohlii be in there somewhere?

“Dispute” is indeed English! Must’ve missed that one. Thank you for bringing it to my attention–I’ve corrected it to fakha, which I’d translate as “to limit” or “to put a limit on”. 

As for amauro-fakhu, to be honest, it’s been so long since I constructed this phrase that I’m not entirely sure how to parse it. =p I know that fakhu is supposed to indicate “undisputed”, coincidentally, showing the same stem fa as in fakha above, with -khu “without”. 

Amauro, on the other hand, apparently corresponds to “champion”, but I can’t say how to decompose it morphologically (probably something with ma “control, mastery”, ro “unit” and some reduplication for emphasis?) You’re also right that the word kolhii is conspicuously absent from the Matoran translation–corrected!

As a longtime Bionicle fan, I’m looking forward to a new original Templar adventure game. However, I’ve tried to play Crave Crasher in Firefox, but it just stays stuck in the loading screen.

From our work with LEGO (and Intel’s help) back in the 20th Century, to Shockwave and Cartoon Network and up to today, we’ve always tried to bring next-gen 3D gaming onto the Web, without having to go to the store (well, now, the App Store, I suppose), registering personal info, allowing Facebook access, or filling up precious space on phones.

This time, we’ve partnered with David & Goliath and Jack in the Box to create Crave Crasher, our first fully 3D, real-time WebGL game. Totally mobile- and desktop-browser-based, players get straight into the action, without the annoying roadblocks that free-to-play games have these days. Have fun everybody!

Snapchat Gaming?

Not only that, we’ve released a Snapchat version, too. Point at this image and hold down on the screen to play it inside Snapchat.

What does this all mean? It means we’re going strong, and are able to continue internal development on our own little adventure game, that we’ve been trying to get off the ground for a while now. We started proper development almost a year ago to the day, and it’s in good shape. (Bionicle fans, we’re getting really close. Really.)

It also means folks have been writing about Crave Crasher, including Meat+Poultry Magazine.

Yeah, Templar Studios had the Glincher up and running on their Showcase page for the longest time, but it stopped working sometime in the past year or so. I ripped just about all the 3D models of the parts as 3DXML files, which are still on one of my old hard drives.

Text of Data Drop, one of the games from the discontinued Galidor website. There was a similar 1985-style swf file to this called GALOS 2.332 that gave access to Sam Bluetooth’s lab files, including logs about how part of his house disappeared, and how that and certain historical events like Krakatoa were somehow linked to travelling to the Outer Realms. It was the first thing ever up on Galidor.com when it first came up back in Dec 2001, but as far as I know those lab files are now lost. If anyone has them, please let me know.
