I have time
Thranduil x Reader
Word Count: 2k (Sorry)
Warnings: Canon Violence (Battle of the Five Armies war) The reader is pronounced dead. A bit sad, Thranduil cries. They are married, but Legolas is never mentioned. AU Thorin,Fili,Kili, and the elk live :D (please let me know if I forgot any)
A/N - Sorry for Thranduil x Reader again, I like the Character and couldn’t think of another one for the story to apply to. Also, I am not sure who is at fault for the gems in the movies, I’ve heard that the dwarves didn’t want to part and Thranduil didn’t want to pay the money, but I’m going with the first one! This may have to be 2 parts if you guys want a second part.
“War?” You asked Thranduil, “Yes, I want what belongs to me.” he replies. You know you cannot talk him out of it. It was supposed to be a gift to you but, they did not want to part with it. You understood where he was coming from but, thought all of this was a little overkill for gems. “I am assuming there's no talking you out of it?” You asked knowing if he sets his mind on something there's no likely chance of him not doing it. Although, you would be the person to convince him not to. “No, there isn’t” He starts, “I am rightfully claiming what is mine.” “I am coming with then” You reply. “Absolutely not, Meleth.” He says as he turns around to face you. “It should be done and over with rather quickly anyway, you should stay here.” He answered. “I am not letting you go alone, If you are doing this, I should come with you.” You replied. “I am not talking you out of this, am I?” He chuckled a bit. “No, you are not.” You grinned. Right before you two left, he checked again to see if you could stay behind. You being as stubborn as he was told him no and that you would be okay. You and you’re army arrived at the remains of Dale. You felt sympathy towards these people as they had to take refuge in the remains. You looked around as Thranduil and Bard chatted a bit. Afterward, You and Thranduil had decided for you to choose the spot for the tent. You would come to find him afterward. After He watched Bard try and reason with Thorin, he went to the tent and settled down a bit.
“Suited already?” Thranduil asked. “I do not like to be unprepared, you know this.” You replied while putting up your spared daggers. He slightly hums before grabbing a wine glass. “Mithrandir?” You questioned, “What are you doing here?”. Thranduil put his glass down and turned around. (Time skip a few minutes as I could not find the dialog of the talking) “Sometimes a storm is just a storm” Thranduil replies. “Not this time, armies of orcs are on the move. These are fighters who have been bred for war. Our enemy has shown his full strength” Gandalf argues. “Why show his hand now?” Thranduil replies. “Because we forced him, We forced him when the company of Thorin Oakensheild set out to reclaim the homeland,” Gandalf says before leaving, Bard follows as you grab Thranduils arm. “What if it isn’t nothing, what if it is truly a threat?” You asked. “Wizard's warnings cannot be taken so seriously, my love.” Thranduil and You walked out to meet with Bard and Gandalf who gave you a concerning look.
“Give the order, If anything moves from that mountain, Kill it,” Thranduil says. The guard walks off to give the order to the archers. You look at Gandalf who is in complete shock at Thranduil's harsh command. Thranduil turns around, “The dwarves are out of time”. Gandalf runs out to Bard, “Do you agree to this?, this gold is so important here, would you buy it with the blood of the dwarves.” Gandalf asks. “It will not come to that, This is a fight they cannot win,” Bard replies.
“That will not stop them” Bilbo states. This causes you to peek out of the tent and look at Bilbo. “You think the dwarves will surrender, they won't, they will fight to the death to defend their own,” Bilbo states. “The burglar” you whisper only loud enough for Thranduil to hear. “Is he?” Thranduil asks, “Yes, he’s the one who got the keys from the guards when they were busy being passed out.” You reply. Bard, Gandalf, and Biblo walk into the tent as you are stationed standing right next to Thranduil's makeshift throne. “If I am not mistaken.” Thranduil starts as he sits down. “This is the halfling, who stole the keys to my dungeons under the nose of my guards.” Thranduil stares at Bilbo as he says it. “Yes, sorry about that,” Bilbo replies. You smile a bit at the hobbit. “I came to give you this” Biblo says as he lays down something in a brown-ish cloth.
As he unwraps it, he reveals the Arkenstone and backs away. “The heart of the mountain” you gasp, “The king's jewel” Thranduil finishes as he can read your mind. “And worth a King's ransom... how is this yours to give?” Bard says as you all look at Bilbo. “I took it as my Fourteenth share of the treasure” Biblo answers. “Why would you do this?” You ask currently questioning the hobbit. “You owe us no loyalty,” Bard says as well.
“I'm not doing it for you. I know that dwarves can be obstinate and pigheaded and difficult. They're suspicious and secretive, with the worst manners you can possibly imagine.” Bilbo starts and you cannot help but smile slightly. You find that from what you’ve read hobbits tend to be loyal and Biblo clearly shows it. “But they are also brave and kind, and loyal to a fault. I've grown very fond of them, and I would save them if I can.” Bilbo finishes. “I do believe that he will give you what you want in exchange for this. There will be no need for war.”
You and the others arrive in front of Erebor. You watch as they exchange words and as his cousins arrive. None of what they said truly bothered you until you heard his cousin say “I’ll split his pretty head open” You quit smiling and death stared at him. “See if he’s still smirking then.” Dain finishes. “Let them advance, See how far they get” Thranduil replies. You load your bow as Dain runs back to his army. As they start fighting you release your bow along with the rest of the army and see the arrows get shredded. You watch them coming closer and then hear rumbling. You and Thranduil exchange looks before seeing the Wereworms coming out of the ground. You look at them horrified wondering what on earth they are doing here.
“I have a plan!” You say while fighting next to Thranduil as you both start heading towards the remains of Dale. “Is it a good plan?” He questions as he kills the orcs off of his elk. You pause for a second causing Thranduil to glance at you. “I have a plan.” You say, but before Thranduil can tell you not to. You make a noise with your horse slamming on the ground causing the orcs to look at you. They charge you and as you run around a building you lead them back out into a line causing them to be killed easily. You lose track of Thranduil and cannot find him. You see the war dying down a bit and see the dwarves heading to where the leader Azog is. You quickly follow them on your horse unaware Thranduil is looking the streets for you.
As you see Fili being caught by an orc, You take out your bow and shoot the orc. This causes the orc to drop Fili and you run with your horse around the dwarves and catch him. You put him down quickly and start trying to kill the other orcs. You get off your horse and see Bolg as he tries to run towards you. You start attacking him but he slings you across into the side of the hill. You groan in pain but start making your way up.
Thranduil quickly made his way up the hill after hearing from a guard that he had seen your horse making its way up there. He looks around and sees the dead Azog. As he looks around more he sees Thorin, Fili, and Kili hugging. “They went that way,” Thorin says and points. Thranduil smiles and nods a bit and starts going that way looking for you. He sees your horse and leaves his elk with it. He makes it your way and hears you groan. He pulls out his sword and fast-walks towards you.
As he makes it around the corner he sees you grab the orc by its neck and spin around it. You let your foot hit the rock and push it. As you let go and land next to the orc. You breathe heavily and before Thranduil can come closer to you, the orc grabs you. The orc brings you with him as he falls. “No!” Thranduil yells before trying to grab you. “I'm sorry” is all he hears come from you before you go over the cliff edge. He runs up to the edge and looks for any signs of you. “No, no, no, please!” He starts panicking as he looks for you.
He comes down off the mountain visibly shaken, no one says anything to him as he calls what men he has left to make it home. Gandalf comes up to him and before he can say anything Thranduil cuts him off. “Was it worth it?” Thranduil asks Gandalf, “What-” Gandalf starts. “They’ve been killed to save your dwarves.” Thranduil finishes talking and walks off before Gandalf can say anything else.
Thranduil and his army make it back to Mirkwood. He announces what happened and heads to his room. He closes the door and stands in front of his bed. He feels his eyes starting to tear up and he brings his hand up to his mouth. He starts crying and falls down to the ground. He tries to muffle his sobs with his hand as he lets it out. Before he notices he falls asleep on the ground against his bed frame.
He wakes up realizing what happened and starts tearing up again. He looks outside and realizes it's about time for a meeting. He still agrees to go to hopefully distract himself. He ignores the concerns of his noblemen to sit out a few of them. He starts getting colder towards his people and hardly leaves the castle anymore. For the first few weeks, he barely ate. Most feared they would lose him to grief but to their surprise he started eating again. Most speculated that he wasn’t sleeping well and they weren’t wrong, he’d either stay up late finishing his papers or pass out to sleep.
After the first few months, he shut everyone out and remained cold. He didn’t know if it was caused because he didn’t want to feel the hurt anymore or was trying to act as the tough King he was supposed to be. Either way, this remained how he was for the rest of the months. He hardly talked in normal conversations anymore, he was either commanding or giving his input in meetings. Some started calling him “The Cold King” or saying he didn’t care about his people anymore.
He woke up realizing that it’s been 11 months since your death. They were gonna host a ceremony to remember you in the month. He couldn’t bear it, not having you by his side. “Meleth, please tell me this is one big joke on me,” he says quietly as he starts crying again. Before he starts sobbing he stands up and starts getting ready for the day. He makes his way to the throne room and as he enters he hears people gasping. He walks quickly and freezes as he looks at the person in the middle of the throne room. “Meleth?” He says quietly, you turn around and smile. “I’m home my love,” you say as you make your way towards him. “This has to be a dream” He mumbles. You touch his cheek as he leans into it, “It is real, I'm alive” You say. He hugs you quickly and doesn’t let go. You stay like that for a few minutes before he lets you go. You motion for you two to go to his chambers. As you both walk in as you close the door. “How are you alive?” He asks as you turn around to face him. “It’s a long story” You reply, “You conned me into thinking you were dead for eleven months.” He says. You wince a bit at what he says. “I have time,” He says.

Spiders and Confessions
Prince!Thranduil x Reader
Word count: 1.3k (Things Clearing got out of hand)
Warnings: Best Friends to Lovers trope, Sleeping in the same space but not the same bed (they’re scouting together so near a campfire), Violence and a bit of blood warning (killing spiders), Fluff perhaps. If I forgot any please let me know!
“You know, I believe we should’ve brought more people” You breathed out trying to keep up with Thranduil's long strides. You two left early that morning to see if the spottings of spiders and orcs were true. Thranduil believed that as the Prince, he should check it out and save his father from worrying about doing it.
Although he told his father that he was merely checking out how the wild animals were doing and would be back in the morning. “You could’ve stayed behind you know, I could’ve just checked by myself. I’m more than capable” He answered. “And have my Best friend eaten by something, no way! Only you deal with my antics” You scoffed. “Those are rumors, there's no danger besides wild animals in these forests.” He replied. “What if it isn't?” you asked. He turned around quickly and stopped.
“What are you implying? That we can’t keep our forests safe?” He spat. You gave him a look of pure shock, he never snaps at you, and it seems he even notices this. “Sorry, I can see that it’s getting to my father and stressing him. I don’t want to believe that spiders or orcs are here.” He vented. “I don’t blame you, it’s concerning to all of us. None of us want to believe that spiders or orcs are coming into these forests,” you say. “I don’t believe that spiders are coming here. They have no re-” You cut him off by shushing him.
You both look around and hear a slight tapping noise. You both pull out your swords and look around listening carefully. As you turn around in time, you see a giant spider lunging towards you both. You stab it in the head and it screeches as another one comes. You hear a screech behind you realizing that these are after the prince as well. You kill two more and start to kill another one.
Until one comes straight for you and before you can react it smacks you across the clearing right into a tree. You drop your swords from the impact and turn over. You groan in pain and start standing back up realizing your head is now bleeding. You grab one of your daggers and throw it into the spider's skull killing it. You then pick your swords back up and kill the rest of them alongside Thranduil.
You both look around listening intensely to see if you hear any more spiders or anything else coming to get you. As you both decide nothing else is around, you turn around to see if Thranduil is okay but, as you turn around the prince is already in front of you looking at your head. “I’m Fine” you assure him. “Bleeding is hardly fine, when will you ever take care of yourself?” He replies. You start to reply before realizing he is correct. You cannot remember the last time you had even slept properly or took care of yourself after a battle.
“I can take care of myself!” You gasp. “Never said you couldn’t I said you don’t. Now let’s leave here and settle somewhere so I can make sure you’re okay.” He replies. You nod and start following him. You started blushing slightly at the closeness that just happened and hoped he didn’t see it. After walking for about 5 minutes you both decide to settle down in a small clearing with dirt instead of grass. On the way to finding a place to settle you both picked up sticks and rocks to later make a campfire so you both could see.
The cold wasn’t an issue as it was spring in Greenwood. “Hopefully it doesn’t rain” you jest. “Now why would you go and jinx it, if it rains you will be my umbrella now.” He joked. “Says the one who’s taller than me” You snickered. “Shortie” He chuckled. You gasped and smacked his arm. “I may be shorter than you but that still doesn’t mean I cannot Fight you” You added. He started laughing as you joined in. He started to get the fire lit, after it was started he walked over to you and started checking your head wound. “You’re Lucky it's a little wound,” he says as he grabs something out of a pouch on this tunic and puts a band-aid on your head. “What would you do without me” He jokes and you laugh along.
You grabbed both blankets that you and him packed and wrapped them both around you for the softness. “Stop hogging all the blankets.” He chuckled as he went over and grabbed one from you. “Hey, you don’t even need it! You can have the fire if you get cold!” You replied. “Never said I would be using it 'cause I was cold” He shrugged. You groaned and as you both were trying to make the fire a bit bigger, you decided to tease Thranduil. “Do you snore? Please tell me you don’t snore. It would make it impossible to sleep” you jest. “Me? You should be worried about yourself snoring.” He jokes. He starts to mimick you snoring and you both start laughing.
You both talk as the sun sets and hours after, talking about anything and everything. Most of the things you did talk about were total nonsense. “I am going to go to sleep, try not to be too loud, impossible task I know” You joked as you settled to your side of the campfire with Thranduil being on the other. “Ha ha very funny” He replies. You settle down and cover up before the fire becomes a blur and you fall asleep.
Thranduil couldn’t seem to sleep, paranoid that more spiders would come. He couldn’t get out of his head that you could’ve died and he never told you his feelings. His father was aware of his affections but, he wasn’t thrilled it wasn’t someone with a royal title. He let it be realizing Thranduil was stubborn and wouldn’t just let it go. The more Thranduil thought about it, the more he didn’t like the thought of you being too far.
Even if it was across the campfire that made it an obstacle to get across before getting to protect you. He decided to move to that side and just blame him for moving on the campfire dying out. You were woken up by someone poking you. “Hey,” Thranduil says as he's poking you, “Move over”. “What?” You asked as you swatted him away trying to fall back asleep. “Move over” he replied and continued to poke you until you moved over. “Why? Aren’t you supposed to be sleeping on the other side?” you questioned. “The fire is dying out and I’m cold.” You were sleepy and didn’t realize that elves can’t be cold. You groaned and shuffled over enough for him to sit down next to you. He was thankful that you didn’t question the cold part as he heard it when he said it.
In the morning, you woke up and noticed Thranduil looking at you. “Morning sleepy head,” He says. “Did you not sleep?” you asked. “Couldn’t, you fell asleep easily though,” he replied. “Sleep is important you know,” you responded. “I am not judging you, you slept like a baby,” he says. You scoff and were about to reply before he added “It was kinda cute”. This caused you to let out a squeak and start blushing. After a few seconds, you hear him chuckle. “Thanks for the teasing,” you say. “It’s called flirting believe it or not” He laughs causing you to blush more. “I’m not that bad am I?” He asked. “Could be better” you chuckled. “Well, perhaps if you go out with me, it will improve.” He says and smirks.
You stare at him in disbelief for a moment before replying, “I do like you Thranduil but, I don't know.” He looks at you for a moment, “Why not? Everyone already believes we are dating” He responds. “What about the king?” You ask, “He’ll be okay with it trust me” he answered. You started smiling and replied “Alright, If I must” You joked.

“Did your elegance go?”
Legolas & Reader
Word count: 220 (Sorry for it being short)
Warnings: Reader and Legolas are best friends so Platonic! Nothing specific of reader besides them not being an elf.
You and the company walk up the hill in the freezing snow. You notice the hobbits being carried and would help if the snow wasn't up to your chest. You were giggling a bit at Gimli but as you turned around you noticed Legolas standing on the snow. You were not an elf and never cared to be until you saw Legolas walking and standing on the snow like it was a normal Monday. You saw the looks of the others probably thinking less nice thoughts than you were until you thought of a funny idea. As Legolas was walking by you stuck your arm out and thought for a moment he saw your arm. Until you hear a silent *plop* and laughter soon following from the rest of the Fellowship. You stop with the rest of the fellowship and look to your right. As you look you can't help but laugh seeing a Legolas-shaped hole in the snow.
As you are laughing at him all you see is his head pop up out of the snow which causes you to start laughing harder along with Gimli. “Very Funny” Legolas states before trying to get out of the snow. “What happened? Did your elegance go?” You snickered at Legolas before feeling snow cover your face and hearing laughter from Legolas.

Thorin x Reader
Word count: 504
Warnings: Slight Angst, Dragon sickness, Thorin doesn’t say if he likes the reader back or not
You liked Thorin since you were in Beorn's house. At first, you didn't mind him, he kept to himself except for talking to some of the other dwarves. You enjoyed the company of the other dwarves even though you weren’t with them at the loss of their home. Everything was going smoothly until Smaug was defeated. That’s when Thorin changed, the other dwarves didn’t seem to notice much at first. You and Bilbo thought at least until you talked to Balin. “Dragon sickness” Balin starts, “I’ve seen it before. That look. The terrible need. It is a fierce and jealous love, It sent his grandfather mad.” He sighs.
“Are you sure?” You ask, “Positive” Balin states. “Balin, If Thorin, had the Arkenstone, or if it was found, would it help?” Biblo asks. “That stone crowns all. It is the summit of this great wealth, bestowing power upon he who bears it. Would it stay his madness? No, laddie. I fear it would make him worse. Perhaps it is best, it remains lost” Balin says. You start looking at Bilbo before walking away. You sigh as you hear Bilbo calling for you, “Yes Bilbo?” you ask. “Where are you going?” He replied. “I’m going to talk to him, I know it might not do much but it's worth a shot,” you say. “Very well, I wish you luck He is not the easiest to talk to at the moment,” Bilbo replies. You shake your head and leave going to find Thorin.
“Thorin! Can we talk for a minute” You ask after finally finding him. He’s where you should've known him to be, Looking over his gems as others look for the Arkenstone. “What is it?” he says a bit coldly. “Erm, We’ve been searching for a while now, perhaps we should take a break?” You ask. “No, we shall keep looking til it is found. Perhaps someone stole it.” He states. “Stole? Thorin these people are basically your family! None of them would steal it.” you say a bit too quickly. “Perhaps you stole it” He stares at you after he says it. You look at him in complete disbelief that he would even accuse you.
“Me? Why on earth would I want it?” you say a bit loud. “Perhaps you want the riches for yourself!” He yells and turns completely at you. “At your Betrayal, please!” you say. “Why wouldn’t you, Why would you care about me!?” He asks loudly. “I-” you start but cannot bring yourself to finish the sentence. “I’m listening” he states after a few seconds of you not saying anything. “I like you Thorin.” You say not making eye contact. He chuckles a bit making you look at him. “Can’t blame you, I’m pretty awesome” He says, You scoff and look at him. “I cannot believe how low you’ve gotten over a stupid rock.” You say and turn away and leave. You hear him get upset but before he can say anything you turn the corner and continue to walk.

Thranduil Drabble/Imagine
A/N: This is my first-ever imagine so it will be short. I dedicated it to Thranduil since he is one of my favorite Characters. Also, the one I first started wanting to do edits for. I will take tips and criticism but please be nice with it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!
Imagine you are dancing with your friends in the Feast of the Starlight. As you continue to dance, you notice your friends freeze. They start bowing as You look at them confused and turn around. As you turn around you meet face to face with Thranduil. You freeze as he bows slightly and asks you to dance.

Writing Imagines!
I am going to start writing imagines/oneshots. At the moment, I'm going to stick to Lotr and the hobbit. I may branch out (I probably will) but, it will for now be within that franchise. I will take requests! I will try to write for any character in the Lotr/TH. I will not put personal names into stories (this may change aswell) it will be y/n or no name specified so everyone will enjoy it. I will tag you though! I do not feel comfortable writing Smut and will not do so. How to request: Character Name: (Character you want me to write about) Prompt: (what you want me to write about)
