the fucking disrespect is uncalled for, amtrak-official. first you hate on the t and now the entire state of new hampshire? got something against new england? unbelievable.
(though I do want amtrak in nh please give us a line that goes up 93, nh. it would be so cool and helpful and so good for tourism.)

the first issue of the comic I wrote is finally out! go read it! the art is really good!
Our greatest fear is being recognized at the grocery store.
Nat and Reed Have Got This #1 is out now!
Nat and Reed are back in their small northern New Hampshire hometown of Greenwood, and it's time to head into town to go grocery shopping. There's no way they're letting themselves get recognized in the grocery store and go through small talk, but... there might be something more to worry about.
Read it at natandreed.lyons.link!

you know what bothers me most about the public domain property to horror movie/game pipeline?
it's all entirely creatively bankrupt. wow, you took a beloved, iconic children's character and made them a killer! oh, you made them into an eldritch monster! daring today, aren't we! here's your press coverage and your profit for doing such a good job at doing fucking nothing.

Re-learning a game engine has reminded me how much I hate video tutorials.
Put an article in front of me! Show me a .PDF I can download! Hell, give me a notepad file!
Please don't give me a ten minute video I have to scrub through in order to find where the relevant info might be hiding... 💀

watching Spider-Man 2 and Homecoming back to back has made me realize why I hate tony stark so much in the MCU spider-man movies: peter has almost zero fucking agency because tony takes it all.
in Spider-Man 2, when peter hangs up the suit, he does it on his own. his time as peter parker and not spider-man is his choice. it's all his arc, and he drives it.
poor MCU peter has his dumbass stark suit taken away by war profiteer mcgee. zero choice in the matter, not able to learn from his mistakes as much he's being taught about them. which he kinda isn't? it doesn't feel like there's an arc about responsibility happening there, despite feeling similar in events to Spider-Man 2 and tony's whole lecture about messing up. anyway.
tony stark takes peter's agency away left and right-- him pulling peter into a fight between the avengers at 14, him taking the suit, the suit in general, hell, all of Far From Home happens because tony ends up putting his fuck ups on peter. man takes peter's agency even after he's dead.
tl;dr, I'm glad that tony stark guy is dead. long live peter parker.

no matter how good the scott pilgrim show is, the most perfect version of the story will always be the comics.
...because sex bob-omb is only going to be slightly bad in the comics where you don't have to hear the music

did you read epilogue for humanity?
no?
well you should! it's my 17776-inspired story about climate change, choices, and time. click here to give it a read!
but if you already have, this post is for you.
do you want to find the secret ending? well you're in luck. I just need you to do one thing: cheat.
epilogue for humanity is all about making a choice. you get to pick one timeline and read what the zero and one from that timeline say, and that's it. only way to go back is by starting all over.
but what if you cheated the system?
you can only do this on desktop, or maybe if you have a really cool mobile browser that lets you do shenanigans like open developer tools.
first method is inspect element. simply select a chapter button you haven't read, inspect element, and activate the button by deleting the disabled="" on the button. read through every chapter like this in one save.
second, faster method is cookies. I save each chapter you've read in your cookies, so once again, inspect element to get to developer tools, and open up storage (or whatever it's labeled in your browser). find cookies, and change the value of chapters to the following text:
2a,2b,2c,3a,3b,3c,4,4s
once you've done either of those, read to chapter 4, and congrats! you've cheated time. enjoy the secret ending!
oh, and thanks for reading epilogue!
