hey franky, i'm gonna do my first tatto soon and i'm really excited but nervous at the same time, but i'm really shy and when someone i don't know talk to me it can be really awkward like my friend gonna come with me but i'm still really nervouse,hmm that's okay to requst maybe marco or ace or Izou that they go with their s/o to a tatto shop and helps them calm down you don't have to do it i feel bad for even asking that so you can ignore that, hmm have a good day

OMG I LOVE TATS. I wanna trrrrry and save for my birthday and see if I can get something I've wanted for awhile. What are you getting? My personal advice is drink something high in sugar and make sure you have eaten before you go in. Also remember it's more of a 'gun' then a needle. Just like little hot scratches on yours skin. Deep breaths help as does just .. not looking. Don't tense up, it hurts less.

I have some tattoo headcannons over here too if interested.

Ace - Ace would get judged by the tattoo artist for the one on his arm, you have to stop him from throwing hands. - He has two very big pieces, and he tries to casually tell you they didn’t hurt but you squint at him in disbelief. - He’ll hold your hand the entire time, keeping a close eye on what the artist is doing to make sure they are doing good. - He talks to you the entire time because he’s doing his best to distract you. - Just talk about your friends, crewmates and never stop talking. - The tattoo artist is this close to kicking him out of the room because they do not care about what someone called Thatch did three weeks ago. - He praises you ‘you’re sitting well!’ - ‘They’re almost done with lines! See, that wasn’t so bad right?’ - Ace gently strokes your hand to keep you calm, always smiling.

Marco - Marco’s the one that gives you the low down on eating and drinking something with sugar, explains how that helps. - He also tells you that his huge tattoo didn’t hurt that much despite it going across sensitive parts. - He reassures you that if you don’t like it, he can simply heal it away like it’s nothing. - Also, someone who will chat nonstop with you to distract you, another one that the artist wishes would piss off. - Marco would sit by your side and stroke your cheek, whispering sweet nothings and keeping you calm. - He’d even let the artist do one on him if you wanted to see what it was like first. - Marco is a calmer person hen Ace to go with though. - He doesn’t keep watching the artist like a hawk, his laid-back vibe manages to get you to relax. - Might playfully tease you because the one he had was much bigger.

Izou - Izou is a little more tough love and if his first one was so big you could handle this. - Not much for the constant conversational distraction but he would hold your hand, rub your shoulders. - Tell you how wonderful it was already looking and how you are going to love it. - Tells you how much better you’re taking the pain than a lot of your crewmates - Tells you the story of how Thatch cried when he had his done. - There is no shame in not having a big pain threshold, pain is relevant.

You know how fantasy worlds are almost always based on (mostly Central and Northern) European Medieval aesthetic and folklore?

For a while I’ve been thinking that if we had a fantasy world made here, it would be interesting to have it be inspired by Modernisme (the Catalan artistic movement from the late 19th century - early 20th century). I mean, look at this and tell me it doesn’t have potential:

Vista was seriously never going to play poker with thatch ever again he swore up and down as he looked at the package on his bed that thatch so graciously hand-delivered as part of vista’s losing bet “ make sure you wear this all day vista!” thatch said

A dark red Blush covered vista’s cheeks as he wanted to just curl up and hide as he pulled out the tiny costume with fishnets and bunny ears with heels he smirked he might as well rock it at this point he thought as he pulled it on  and glanced at himself in the mirror as the bunny suit fit shockingly  well actually, he laced up the black heels and walked out onto the moby dick

Whitebeard raised an eyebrow before he gave a grin “ getting into the Halloween spirit eh my son?” he asked laughing as he sat in his chair  vista laughed rubbing his head “ something like that !” he said before a loud crash and a scream came “ get back here right now ace!” thatch yelled chasing after the fire user currently dressed as a cowboy who had a tray of candy apples as thatch ran after him with a spoon

ace skittled to a stop seeing vista and couldn’t help himself from laughing “haha. vista what are you wearing?” he said as the cook caught up and got the biggest grin on his face “it’s my Halloween costume you like?” vista said all the while grinning  ace grinned “ did you lose a bet"no not at all” he said while side-eyeing thatch who innocently looked away “ just so you know i,m winning the costume contest” vista said eyeing ace  who had won every year since he joined

ace gasped “hah like hell! that is my claim ” vista flicked his forehead “ pops will choose,” he said walking off

Later that night pops couldn’t help but to smile at his sons as they showed off the costumes they made or had izo help them make  he touched his mustache the winner was clear to him he glanced over at the commanders “All alright alright i, ve made my decision "I knew i would win pops” ace said “I never said it was you boy” he teased before he laughed “ vista is the winner this year ” WHAT" ace said shocked as vista elbowed thatch “ so was this your idea to dethrone ace?” oh my god yes he has too much of an ego picture if he won another year….so wanna play poker next week?“

"Happy birthday Marco." Thatch smiled, bringing him a hot cup of coffee. Behind him, was Izo with a plate of Marco's favorite breakfast. "Happy birthday, old man. Today you'll be pampered, so enjoy." Izo teased, knowing very well that Marco was just 8 days older than himself. The two commanders barely got to move, before Casey jumped onto Marco' lap and nuzzled against his cheek. "Happy birthday, brother. Here's a gift for you." She grinned and handed him a pineapple shaped pillow.

The man of the hour was leaning against the railing up by Mobys head, looking out at the sea when Thatch and Izou came over. Marco looked up at Thatch, a smile gracing his face. "Thank you -yoi," He said, taking the mug and immediately having a sip. Of course it was done the way he loved, Thatch would have it no other way.

Marcos blue eyes sparkled a bit seeing the plate in Izous hands. It was quickly diminished by the mans teasing, however. The first division commander sent his brother a glare only amusing Izou further. Before he could even open his mouth for a comeback he was ambushed by a brown and white blur.

The sudden weight smacking into his stomach sent him falling back onto his ass, instinct leading him to wrap an arm around Casey so she wouldn't hit the deck hard.

"Hello, Casey. Thank you -yoi." He gives her a smile. The pillow is surprisingly soft and squishy, despite the obvious pineapple joke.

"Thank you, you three -yoi," Marco starts, looking up at Thatch and Izou, "I am the luckiest man at sea."

Inside his mind the phoenix coos and flaps it's wings, deeply content.
